MASH did for me .. few times
I believe you forgot to put "The Owl House" episode; "Reaching Out" in which Luz shares about her late dad😢
Surprised that Batman, Superman, nor Spider-Man’s families weren’t mentioned.
Static Shock, how Virgil Hawkins tried to save his mother in the past.
TMNT 2012 Splinter's death hits me hard
That Bobby’s world episode was very impactful and loved the message at the end of it. Thanks for this reminder.
I can’t watch that episode without crying, is that bad?
Hmm…I feel like Aang’s grief for his entire culture, Katara’s grief for her mother, or Iroh’s grief for his son would have made more sense.
Also, Steven Universe dealt with death and grief for like…the entire show. Genuinely surprised its not here. Adventure Time as well.
I’m even more surprised than not 1 Superhero Show is listed in this Top 10:
- Bruce Wayne losing his parents(Batman)
- Peter Parker losing his uncle(Spider-Man)
- Clark Kent losing his planet(Superman)
- Terry McGuinness losing his father(Batman Beyond)
- Virgil Hawkins losing his mother(Static Shock)
@@l-wolverine2211 Most of the those superhero tragic origins were done to death in other media, long before their cartoon appearances.
@@HeatRaver Yet, it’s still a dark message for kids to understand that death is still a part of life, and how it’s dealt with.
Steve Universe really got over cooked in the later seasons when the writers couldn't make stronger storylines, like's Pearl's intense fears on her world's equivalent of homophobia and cultural sanctions.
Agreed. Avatar dealt with a lot of death and grief actually. They kinda picked one of the weaker moments actually.
Steven Universe is also wonderful at picturing grief and the many forms it takes. It also beautifully deals with legacy left behind by those we lose.
Adventure Time nails not just grief of death but other types of grief as well. Grief of loved ones changing. Grief of what could have been. Grief of the life that was. All the shows you mentioned are shining examples of how death/grief should be handled in “kids shows.”
Rugrats - Chuckie wondering where his mother was on Mother's day & when his pet bug Melville died.
It wasn't a beetle it was a pillbug.
Melville’s death absolutely ripped me apart as a kid 😂
I would like to give a shoutout to the lion guard and spirit riding academy. Rani’s grandma passed from old age as did Lucky’s grandpa. They both dealt with the passing of characters we got to know in the series and both handled them with much care and respect for their target audience.
Yeah the lion guard episode even came with a warning before it's start ^^ it definitely belongs on this list..it's a huge missed opportunity
That’s what I hoping to see too.
Especially when actors or even actresses passed away recently but contributing their performances in our childhoods.
I haven't seen this show, but they didn't pass from old age, they passed from a disease.
Yeah rani didn't know what to do when her grandmother passed but she assured her that she was ready to lead
Why isn’t Bluey on the list? It had an episode called “Copycat”, where bluey and her dad’s game was interrupted by the sight of an injured bird. They take it to the vet, but it’s ultimately too late. Bluey is of course devastated at the bird’s death. At home, she tries reenacting the event in a playful game of pretend. That one’s such a good episode
Yeah, I'm quite surprised that the Bluey episode Copycat wasn't on here.
@@robertreid1579 Typical Yank-centric content from WatchMojo. SMH
Sesame Street too they handed it so well when mr hooper died
I thought it was Bingo who reenacted the event with Chili. Maybe I'm misremembering...the only time I've really sat down and binged Bluey was when I was down with a cold, and half out of my mind on decongestants 😂.
Bobby's World - Bobby learning that the crossing guard he saw as a friend passed away.
A really good episode that explains things about death
That _is_ on the list; it’s number two.
The Arthur episode where D.W.'s pet bird Spanky dies and the one where Francine's grandmother also dies.
There’s another later to the later case - Francine’s grandmother’s VA was Joan Rivers. When that episode aired, Rivers had died a couple years back.
Then D.W finds a toad as a replacement pet to fulfill grief.
- I’m surprised planet krypton from Superman: TAS wasn’t mentioned
- Captain Planet had an episode where Linka lost her cousin from a drug overdose.
- The Simpsons, Maude Flanders’ death (It should’ve been Helen Lovejoy)
- Samurai Jack had to see Ashi fade out of existence.
- Original Transformers, and how Optimus Prime died.
- Pops’ sacrifice on Regular Show
- Cotton Hill passed just like that on King of the Hill.
- Mayor Adam West passed away, who taught us “Nobody Messes With Adam We..”
- Voltron, with Alura’s sacrifice, but at least Lance would see her again in heaven.
- Spider-Man losing Mary Jane twice on TAS was sad, but seeing him find her in X-Men ‘97 was a gift.
(Spider-Man ‘98……….NOW!!!”
Counterpoint on Optimus Prime: They brought him back to life on the show... Twice.
@@SegaNintendoGuy64 I brought it up to demonstrate how a beloved leader’s death is viewed.
The Captain planet episode scarred me as a kid watching it. As an adult I remember the dangers of drugs. So I guess it did it job
Some of these are adult cartoons.
... This hurts...
Life with Louie - Louie learning his grandmother passed away. NGL I cried as a kid watching that episode.
Good episode and it was a nice tribute to the actress who played her who had passed away. They could’ve recast but I like they dealt with it in a respectful way.
Not to mention Nemo’s mom Coral, Mufasa, King Agnar and Queen Iduna, Ellie,
Queen Athina, Bambi’s mother (anime not child friendly) Kyojuro Rengoku, Mitsuri Kanroji, Muichiro Tokito, Shinobu Kocho, Kanae Kocho, Genya, Tanjiro’s and Nezuko’s parents and siblings, Makomo and Sabito,
Honorable Mentions:
* "Reaching Out" - The Owl House
* "Copycat" - Bluey
* "Mind Pollution" - Captain Planet and the Planeteers
* "Croaked" - The Casagrandes
* "Squeaky" - The Smurfs
* "Remmy" - Lilo & Stitch: The Series
Sesame Street and Boy Meets World aren’t cartoons; not to mention that the latter isn’t really a kids’ show.
* Several episodes - Animals of Farthing Wood
@@COMPFUNK2But you can’t deny that the Sesame Street segment is one of the most impactful
The one about Master Splinter was so tragic 😢
and i got flashbacks of that scene again when watching amphibia
He totally forgot the time when Ben Kevin and Gwen died in ultimate alien by charmcaster, then a god saved them giving them back their lives
I don’t think that was Top 10 worthy. Honorable Mention, maybe.
Yeah... No... That shouldn't count because THEY CAME BACK TO LIFE LATER! The deaths on this list are more realistic and permanent and teaches kids you can't just magically wish back a love one!
@@ShadyRK9 the title says "dealt"
Wow I didn't know that
That doesn’t sound like it counts
I think you forgot:
.Cookie Chomper III-Alvin and the Chipmunks
.Reaching Out-The Owl House
.After the Rain-Amphibia
.Last Crash of the Sunchaser-Ducktales reboot
Don't forget about the pokemon sun and moon episode about snoutland.
Yeah
Also the Squeaky episode from The Smurfs.
@@JonnyTainment Yeah. That too.
You forgot disneys doug Patti's dad delima.
#1 for me: Dinobot in Beast Wars. It hit so hard it felt like a friend died and I can remember all the details of where I was when it happened like as if it was yesterday 😭
He died a hero. The greatest of us all
Little Clowns of Happytown tackled the death of a grandmother.
Alvin and the Chipmunks also went through grief when a cat got ran over.
No, pops dying was the saddest shit I’ve seen in yrs, like dawg, for a fact nun of us thought we’d see our beloved candy man die
Sesame Street when Bird Bird had to be taught what death was
RIP, Mr. Hooper.
That’s not a cartoon, but I would still take it
Dan Turpin should've of made the list! When Darkseid killed him it was absolutely shocking for me as a kid 😱
I’ve mentioned this already, but with Planet Krypton’s Destruction to Detective Bowman’s Execution, I’m surprised that nothing from any of the Superhero shows were mentioned, including Superman: TAS.
I agree on Dan Turpin totally. It still shocks me to this day they actually did that. Apparently, they told the Kids’ WB! standards and practices they they were gonna bring him back and something about how the Omega Beams do different things to different people depending on what Darkseid wants. Of course, they weren’t gonna bring him back but I like they used that reasoning.
It makes it even sadder knowing that it was planned early on to be Clark’s parents instead of Dan Turpin.
@@TrekapediaWhat do you think would've happened had Darkseid killed Clark's parents?
the worst pokemon death was stoutland and litten..... that got me bawling
Parents Day didn’t deal with death. It was about non traditional family units. Besides, Arnold’s parents turned out to be alive and were just in a coma.
That's right, Arnold's parents are alive
At the time, Arnold and his grandparents presumed they were dead IIRC, so they're still dealing with that sense of loss.
Arnold didn't know they were still alive in the episode.
For me Flashpoint Paradox ( the animated film) helped me realize that sometimes bad things makes who we are which isn’t always a bad thing
You forgot the Captain Planet episode where Linka's cousin Boris died from a drug overdose.
His death also happened right on camera.
She even said that the grief hurt worse than the drug withdrawals.
I was also surprised that that wasn’t on the list.
I've also learned from Veggietales An Easter Carol that dying never ends because of new beginnings to believe.
My honorable mention:
Off Colors (Steven Universe)
Lars sacrificed himself to save Steven from a deadly robot. And sure he came back thanks to Steven’s powers, but this was the first and only time a human died onscreen in this series.
They should really bring "Infinity Train" back.
Donnys parents from Wild thornberrys was very tragic
What happened?
@JatoriaKrewfan2013 killed by poachers after saving animals ( I forget what they are called)
@@da-vidcargill4975 orangutan
@@da-vidcargill4975 now that’s sad 😢 bro that’s just so bad for Donny no wonder he all wild
They died saving the Orangutans.
I knew that Rugrats one would be number one
Thank you for including The Music episode of Bobby's World, and in the top 5. That episode hit me hard as a kid and Bobby's reaction was so realistic and heartbreaking. The "they're playing my song" moment was so beautiful.
I remember when the Rugrats Mother’s Day episode came out out. I got so emotional knowing Chucky lost his mother and that’s one of the saddest things ever I’ve had friends who have gone through that situation. My cousins been through the same thing back in 2020 when their mother died and it was so unexpected losing a parent can be really hard, especially when they die worse than losing a pet
I can relate to Chuckie's pain about his mother's death 😮😢❤
@@tonybrown7041 I know right Chucky‘s mom stuff is pretty sad honestly and I can definitely see why the Mother’s Day episode makes sense at least he got a new mother in the Rugrats in Paris movie
@@brodiger Yes he did Kira's a very nice devoted wife, mother, and stepmother.
@@tonybrown7041 she definitely is I’m glad chunky has her
What about Bunny from The Powerpuff Girls(1998)?
Oh yeah, that was sad.....
If I was a cartoon character, I would be on this list. Nothing more horrific than losing a parent as a kid
I feel the same.
Actually, parents losing their children is more horrific.
I remember a Care Bears episode from 1986 called "The Sleeping Giant". Without ever mentioning death, it still taught kids how to deal with someone going away forever. I never realised this until I was an adult!
Thank you WatchMojo. I needed this. My dad is expected to pass tomorrow due to an unforeseen aneurysm that caused a seizure and fall and injuring his head. He’s been stable but isn’t expected to make it. I needed this for one last goodbye to my dad. 😢
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
I am so sorry for your loss and may your Father Rest In Peace.
The Arthur episode, "So Long Spanky" should've been on the list. 📺📺📺📺📺📺
Yeah. The episode should’ve been included with other episodes as honorable mentions.
I knew it would have been forgotten and overlooked on a list like this, as it's a very underrated show unfortunately, but I think as an honorable mention the episode of The Lion Guard should have been mentioned in the episode "Long Live The Queen" from Season 3, when Queen Janna passed away from old age, and her family, including Kion and The Lion Guard themselves said their goodbyes to Queen Janna and even had a funeral for her and everything at the Tree of Life. It was such a beautiful representation of life and death in my book, just the episode as a whole was all about The Circle of Life and when someone reaches the end of their journey in the Circle of Life. It even opened with a content warning message at the beginning of the episode.
I agree. It’s a classic episode.
You forgot the death of grandma from Life with Louie. It was sad and touching
So it isn't a cartoon, but I remember when Mr. Hooper from "Sesame Street" died - and the show used it as a teachable moment and dealt with it head-on.
I was maybe eight years old then, so I didn't appreciate the importance of them dealing with it the way they did.
What about Batman: The Brave and The Bold the Chill of The Night with batman's parents or
The episode where Batman and Catwoman in the future die from falling debris in the Batman museum?
The whole story of Batman can speak volumes on how witnessing such a horrific event as a child can damage someone's psyche. The Flash and Spiderman also lost a parent figure to violence but both hide their pain in jokes while Batman uses his pain as fuel in his quest for justice
I think “Reaching Out” from The Owl House should have been number ten instead of “The Golf War” from Gravity Falls
Reaching Out should've been #1.
I feel like that it is important to feature death in kid's shows, because as a child you feel alone as this can only happen to you. Showing this in shows kids watch allows them to see that they aren't the only one who deals with the death of a loved one. It can especially be heartbreaking when your child asks "When will my family/friend/pet wake up, come back or feel better. Death is one of those tough scenarios and some shows handle them very amazingly.
Honorable mention: The Bravestarr episode "The Price".
Yeah I just saw that on a list the other day. So sad and you could see how much it hurt the character.
And another thing, Bravestarr does the life lesson which all filmation cartoons did from besides the kid's grave!
Bravestarr and Captain Planet are the only 2 kids shows of the 80s and 90s that weren't afraid the show the deaths of young addicts.
I was pretty surprised this one didn't make the list. Maybe they didn't know about it.
@@xRed5433x they’ve put it in other videos. Maybe they felt it wasn’t as impactful?
nothing felt harder in my childhood as when i witness the death of optimus prime and his friends in the 1987 movie....not even the animated dumbo original movie made me cry as that day. the producers killed a childhood hero no one expected to die
Loss. It’s always a bitter pill to swallow. And most of these characters know how to deal with it in their own simple and unique ways!
What about Fernando from Fat Albert?
@@mrnotificationbell Or Uncle Monty
And when their friends uncle died.
No Fat Albert on this list is actually insane bro 😂😂
Chuckie Finster: My mom died due to her illness, Ariel!
Ariel The Little Mermaid: And my mom died being crushed by a pirate ship, Chuckie!
Two more episodes for me.
1. Life With Louie. Louie’s grandmother passes away and we see Louie and his family dealing with it. Louie does research about different religions and how they deal with death. His mother can’t seem to sleep and keeps finding things to do until Louie’s dad brings her to bed and tells her he thinks she can sleep. This was a really good episode and it also helped the cast, crew and audience deal with the passing of the actress who played the grandmother.
2. Theres an episode of Pokemon called That’s Why Litten Is A Scamp! Litten comes to get Ash because it’s friend Stoutland is not doing well. They ebing him to the Pokemon Center where Ash and his friends are told Stoutland isn’t sick, he’s just very old. Stoutland and Litten go back to the bridge where they live on a couch and fall asleep. Litten wakes up to find his friend gone, having passed away and disappeared.
This episode was very good and showed how Litten dealt with Stoutland’s death. He keeps thinking he sees his friend and when he finally does in the clouds, he smiles and is able to say goodbye. He then joins with Ash and his friends on their journey. Good episode and I think it was the 20th anniversary episode if I remember right.
Holy geez the Bravestarr episode called The Price. Just so sad. The ending with the kid being found and, when they say they’ll go get help, Bravestarr saying not to bother because it’s too late. They even showed the kid’s hand just laying on the floor. Grim stuff for a kids show back in the day and especially ending it with the PSA at the end talking to the kids about drugs. So sad but a good episode with an important message. Whoever brought that up in the comments and reminded me of it good call and thank you. I loved that show when I was younger.
There's also the Regular Show episode where they showed Skips backstory and how the love of his life Mona dies.
I met Lisa Ortiz who did the English Dub voice of Litten. She told me that her friend adopted a cat around the time she was doing the recording for that episode where Stoutland dies, but I told Lisa Ortiz that it was the first “Pokémon” episode to make me cry in years. She ended up autographing my Nintendo 3DS copy of “Pokémon Moon” at that convention which was Youmacon in Detroit, Michigan several years ago and she was very nice in-person.
I don’t think the Cubone situation isn’t the only time Pokemon had to deal with death.
In the Pokemon Sun and Moon anime, Ash’s Litten was first found as a stray, and it lived with this very old Stoutland. In one episode, the Stoutland was very ill and died. It wasn’t verbally said, but the implications man :(
Honorable mentions:
"Long Live the Queen" - The Lion Guard
"Copycat" - Bluey
"Mr. Greg" - Steven Universe
"Free Churro" - BoJack Horseman
Several episodes - Animals of Farthing Wood
Digimon Digital Monsters (1999-2019) When Ken's Brother Sam passed away then got a Dark Spore In his neck and became Evil or when Jeri's Mom Died of an unknown Illness reveal by the D Reaper when It captured her After the battle with Beelzemon poor girl boy this show had balls more so than Beyblade or Medabots
Yeah, I am surprised that Digimon wasn't on this list.
@@Jamal-bl7yh I think Anime’s are in a category of itself, and yeah, they should also make a similar Top 10 that features these dealt moments
You are aware that Digimon is an anime, right? 🤨
I think there’s already a list like this in anime by WatchMojo. Leomon was in there.
@darriusuchida1875 Pokémon Origins is considered an anime & they put it on this Top 10. So don't think it really matters whether or not if Digimon is an anime.
Missing(s): Last episode of Regular Show, Last episode of Victor and Valentino, Squeaky (The Smurfs),
I think there are 2 Pokemon episodes that emphasize unaliving even more than Marowak.
Like when Nurse Joy explains to Ash that Stoutland is unaliving, Litten watching Stoutland disappearing into light in his dream (Kukui likely cremated the remains), and Litten mourning the loss of his mentor very similar to how real cats and dogs mourn.
Then there was the Cleffa episode where a girl’s Cleffa being just a baby unalived from illness. The grief was so hard, her sister told her that Cleffa became a star so the girl wished for it to be night all the time. It wasn’t until the Unown allowed the girl to say goodbye to Cleffa’s spirit that she finally accepted the truth. This episode was hard bc how do you explain to a little girl they will never see their pet again?
What about the Spider-man (1994) episode where he meets that little girl that helps him defeat Doc Ock when Peter lost his memory?
I remember that! Peter is feeling depressed and Robbie Robertson tells him about the girl and what’s going on with her. She and a taxi driver help him regain his memory and he’s feeling better by the time the episode ends. He also reveals his identity to the girl and she promises to not tell. We find out at the end she was terminally ill and how he helped her just like she helped him.
She was going to die, but she hadn't yet. It was more about the true nature of heroism and that even if we don't feel like what we do matters, it matters. I think the episode ended with Peter saying that the little girl was his hero.
@@DemitriVladMaximov yup exactly
Should've put in the death of Dan Turpin in Superman TAS
Craig of the Creek had an episode where a girl that lived in a part of a creek had this huge hamster playset, lost one of her hamsters, and took the other children's hamsters to cope. The main girl of CotC helped ger understand how to properly grieve and brought back the other children's hamsters while tending to a sunflower that reminded her of her hamster. 😢 Craig of the Creek is definitely a beautiful show, its fun its whimsical, but it can definitely have its more serious moments
i remember Gargoyles....the city of stone arc, when the Magus died on Avalon, he wanted to "sleep", the ep with Anubis.
there was a cartoon from the early 90's called Skeleton warriors...there is the ep "Long Live the King" you find out just how evil the main villain is...i remember it being dark.
8:40 i forgot about this one made me shed a tear
This list Needs to be a Top 20 to include shows Like Captain Planet, Bluey, Bravestarr, Superman: TAS, Spiderman: TAS, Life with Louis & As told by Ginger.
The 2011 thundercats had a death ep. Song of the petalars. The petalars live for only a day and it teaches lion-o that life is full of ups and downs, the journey is important. Sad that the show never got the traction of shows like avatar.
The second season of the 1980s version of the Smurfs featured an episode called Squeaky where Smurfette’s titular pet mouse died; and she was so distraught that she ran away because she couldn’t stand the thought of anyone else dying.
I remember watching that episode of Bobby's World, I wasn't really a fan but I remember that episode in particular impacted young me at the time
Fat Albert had an episode where a classmate and friend had an uncle who was in showbiz, and they were inthused. Well, they found themselves dealing with the uncle's sudden death.😢😢
An episode from Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart titled “Adoradad” focused on death too. It focused on the death of Adorabat’s mom, and how her dad has to cope with it and overprotective of his only daughter ever since she joined the sheriff’s department
How is possible you guys missed grandma from life with Louie:)?!
The Rugrats episode was sad. 😢🎉
That episode always makes me sad, also the use of Cyndi lauper's I want a mom that last forever in rugrats goes to Paris movie gets me blubbering too, pretty sad song to listen too and pretty good song too
At least an honorable mention for Sesame Street, As Told by Ginger, Life with Louie, Transformers Prime, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and even anime like Naruto Shippuden should listed here. Not doing so completely disregards the quality those shows brought.
Chuckie's Mom made me cry. I always felt guilty because I'm middle aged and my mom is still here and well.
I know there's one episode of Charlie & Lola 'A British pre-school show from the books' that they had a pet mice called Nibbles and he died and to honour his death they buried him in a box and decorate the box, Sometimes for the most part preschool shows don't handle the matter of death, One I know from Sesame Street that was written out was Mr Hooper since his actor Will Lee sadly passed away in late 1982 from a heart attack and Big Bird has no clue on the concept of death, And they try to explain how that works.
I’m surprised that The Animals of Farthing Wood wasn’t mentioned, that show had a ton of deaths, it was the first cartoon where I saw someone die 😢
Arthur episode where Francine's grandma passed away
Should do a live action video as well.
I'd love to see how you rank Sesame Street and Mr Hooper....
The death of Detective Turpin in Superman TAS.... it was heartbreaking
Funnily enough, Chuckie mentions his mother once in a very early episode of rugrats. So she was originally intended as part of the show.
There’s also the possibility Chuckie’s mom and dad were supposed to be divorced given in an episode titled “My Friend Barney” when Chaz finds a fish wall decor in his closet he implies Melinda in a different past term that doesn’t sound like she’s dead, but more like she left Chaz and Chuckie.
Sesame Street and The Wild Thornberrys: ARE WE JOKES TO YOU!?
Infinity Train was too strong for CN, but somehow not worthy enough for [as]. Also Pops' death will always be the saddest to me.
Arthur: So Long, Spanky, and that other episode where Francine's Grandmother Bubba died!
Stephanie dying on Baywatch was sadder.
You go back to that episode I'll hurt you badly.
Alvin and The Chipmunks had an episode where their kitten was hit by a car & killed, pretty grim
How come "Copycat" from Bluey isn't on here?
IKR? WM really needs to look outside their continent.
Life with Louie when his grandma past
Oddly enough, the two times i can remember cartoons touching with this was in 2 SERIES FINALES AND BOTH BY CARTOON NETWORK. Love both of these shows and the scenes were symbolic. The 2 shwos in question being Adventure Time and Regular Show
Alvin and the Chipmunks(1980s series), Captain Planet, Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, Superman: The Animated Series, etc. should've been on the list. 📺📺📺📺📺
the finale of David the Gnome should be on here
Yes, it should.
Pokemon Origins is no cartoon, it's an anime series, Japanese shows are not considered cartoons along with all manga franchises, while it's shallow to think of it I understand all cartoon deaths including Avatar of Aang's grief for his entire culture, Katara's anguish for her mother, or Iroh's son would have made more sense. Also Adventure Time also dealt with death grief as well and both handled them with much care and respect for their target audience.
Assuming that Marowak is that Cubone's mother... whose skull is Cubone wearing? 6:01
Maybe it was its father’s or a random skull. Honestly I’ve never seen these creatures without their skulls.
I like to think it's their grandmother's.
In Spongebob
Sergeant: Tell my wife, I LOVE HER
(Gets hit by a boat)
Come Get Some!
I like this list because it features a lot more lesser spoken of cartoon deaths. The only criticism I have is the fact that Arnold’s never actually died, so I wouldn’t have included them on the list.
Nobody knew they were still alive at the time. Heck, not even his parents knew since they were in a coma. For all Arnold knew, they could have been dead for years.
I absolutely bawled in the episode of Bluey where they find an injured bird that dies when they take it to the vet. The episode ends with Bluey recreating what happened through playing with her sister & mum. It’s a really beautiful example of how kids process things like death.
Splinter’s death always makes me cry
What about "Squeaky," an episode of The Smurfs?
no *stoutland* in the episode of pokemon litten is a scamp?
Master Splinter’s death took me by a heartbreaking surprise. He was like the fictional father that every 80’s and 90’s kid wished they had. Especially since he raised the turtles despite they weren’t biologically his, he loved the turtles even though they are a different species than him, he was patient with the turtles, and he professionally disciplined the turtles. Not to mention how tolerant Master Splinter probably was with the turtles’ obsession for constantly eating pizza.
I was expecting the Squeaky episode from The Smurfs to make this list.
I feel like the first death I saw in a movie/TV show was….I actually don’t know. I feel like I should since it’s usually such an intense moment in children’s life. Maybe Bambi’s mom. Or Mufasa. It’s probably a Disney movie though
Pops sacrificing himself still gets me
I remember that Bobby's world episode.😢
hey Arnold doesn't count, you added an anime, no mention of Life with Louie, as told by Ginger, the owl house, Justice Legue Unlimited, teen titans, static shock, Spiderman, XMen, David the Gnome, Gargoyles, Digimon if we are doing anime.
There's Adventure Time when Jake died.
Then later finn before come along with me episode
If I remember, I think was from the Distant Lands episode where Finn was trying to find Jake. Wasn't it The Litch playing mind tricks on Finn?
@isaigutierrez1617 something about eating a multi flavored ice cream with Jake.
The master splinter story was pretty touching to hear, knowing that not everything last forever
