Klaus got the worst abuse in many ways from his parents and had to deal with his werewolf side so because of that he was screwed up even before he became a hybrid

Not at all he was not bothered about that his priority was hope , he literally died for hope. He had the means of killing marcel but wouldnt as marcel was and still is like a son to him.

@@LordG0903 he had no means of killing marcel. Lucien was killed when Freya had Davina in the ancestral world. To kill marcel, they would have to do the same thing again, i guess.
Also, i agree Klaus died for Hope but 5 or 7 years trapped in dungeon, locked up by marcel, he felt how powerless he was against him and how he ceased to be the most powerful and maybe, he may have wished to die

Klaus wouldn’t stand a chance against marcel not even in beast mode like season 1 he is just to powerful and they can’t kill him well without his serum for a weapon but that would be very hard to come by
