Man I been eying the cage truggy for a minute now. I had an ss buggy that was an absolute tank for me and it may have been the only rc that I never broke one single part on thru my owning it. And that was when I couldn't drive at all. Lol

I just got the hobao sste it came with orange springs, and universal drive shafts that about as thick as arrmas drive shafts, I was shocked brand new rtr.

Easy flip because you remove a few screws and flip it on a hinge system vs removing the cage completely

I actually thought about that but the spacer seemed like the easy way out🤣🤪😂. I'm just not sure how much material to remove and then AS YOU KNOW that wheel has LOTS of support that would have to be removed . . . sounds like LOTS O EXTRA work to me? What do you think?
@@rcguygarage it looked like it was barely touching, I could be wrong video can be deceiving. Probably just have to notch the webbing in the back just a little bit with a Dremel sanding drum.
I had to trim out some of the plastic on my badlands because they kept rubbing, just a little on the ridges on the inside with a drill and a knife. They was still just as strong.

RC Guy Garage the hot tip is to replace those little screws with small tight body clip pins. Then you can remove them quickly and easily for battery changes 👌🤙👍

They might be but the collar is up. They do make upgraded stiffer springs.
