Rest In Peace, buddy. Thank you for the information over the years and being a true player in the nitro hobby. Rest In Peace and may your family stay strong and heal.
Wow, that’s sad. I just spent the better part of the day watching some of your vids and I just now found out you passed. 🙏🏽 RIP and thank you for sharing your knowledge. My condolences to your family.
God Bless, RIP. I just started to watch some of your vids, and saw the Memorial Video. Prayers to all who where close, thankyou for taking time to help inform us in a subject you where knowledgeable and passionate about. I'm Sure you'll be missed by many. It saddens me to loose you and I've only watched couple vids but I'm sure your one of the good ones. Thanks Much.
Rest in peace in nitro heaven, really enjoy all your nitro engine videos, was watching them earlier today before I heard. Was about to send out some sleeves to you. You will be missed.
Damn😔, Thank you for all your great vids and information. We will certainly miss you!!!!!!!!!! My condolences to his family and friends. Wish them a lot of strength with this big loss. Rest in power.
So sorry to hear the news😔😔. Condolences out to the Welch family. A great mind in the nitro scene lost forever. Thank you for the insight and knowledge you provided to the hobby but it's clear you had much more to offer and teach.
I have this engine in a Hobao Hyper VS Nitro Buggy RTR. I broke x2 pullstarter ropes in a short time because its very tight braking in. So I put a sealed backplate and use a starter box and it's a great engine. Running Byron's and Flashpoint fuel with O.S. Speed P4 plug.
I think Nitrohouse in Irvine California has that engine for $149....nice vid keep'um coming ... watch out for that pull starter handle my friend says the pull starter cord likes to slip out of the handle when you're pulling on it... I guess he tore his hand all up when that cord would slip out of the handle
I had 2 conrod bushing failures on mine, the second of which killed it off! Completely worn away till the bushing came out of the conrod. I always suspected it was the carb or something but maybe what you said about the conrod being able to move on the crank pin does make complete sense! It looks so well made for its price point but I just didn’t get on with it. The carb is also found on the Fastrax Enduro .21 engine and I’ve had that screaming round a track no problems. I’ve since moved to a Reds 721 Scuderia SV but that Enduro engine progressed me from a basher to a racer
God speed Rex may you rest in peace and forever be remembered for the info and help you gave to this hobby.

Rest well my friend you will be missed very much in the Nitro community at least your videos will live on and help people in the future and beyond
Glad people are finally doing videos on this engine. I’ve been pushing this engine over the lrp .32 for a couple years now.
Has anyone ran this engine back to back with the lrp 32? Would be interested to see how it stacks up.
What are the odds you know how the overall heights compare between the two? Looking for something a little less prone to damage in a roll.
RIP Rex, very sad news, thoughts are with the family 🙏
RIP Rex really enjoyed your videos
Rest in peace Rex. God bless to the family
So sad and sudden a video one week a memorial the next. RIP.

I have two of these engnes. The pull start breaks. Better off ordering the non pull start back plate.
