I'm predominantly Scotch Irish and I love the smell of pipe tobacco and I am a pipe smoker of thirteen years into smoking pipe and let me tell you I'm 35 years old and still smoking a pipe. I have a pipe that I smoke that a good friend who is a first time mom gave me and I have been smoking the pipe since then
Also from the Scottish highlands. When he opened his mouth and spoke I was surprised and satisfied. Made me feel good. That accent is one of the best in the world. I don’t smoke a pipe, I enjoy a bit of snuff. It’s interesting highlanders enjoy a southern drawl
The accent is a curious mix of American Southern Genteel and Appalachian, and it's more than a little fascinating to hear the two combined in this way.
I lost my father 2 years ago when I was 17. The wise words in this video is what I really need right now as I'm currently feeling lost and confused. Thank you sir for sharing your wisdom. I hope you and your family are always in good health and always under the protection of The LORD. May God bless you, sir.
Lost my mother several years ago; never easy and never fully heals. But we know who they were and we know their teachings. They are always a part of us. God bless you.
My sympathies to you and your family. As I learned from the passing of my father, you will begin to walk in his steps. Do not lose touch with your father's friends as his friends were his "board of directors" whose opinions mattered to him and helped him evolve into the man that you respected.
I know that feeling all too well. I lost my Father on Thanksgiving Day, in 1982. I'm now 52, and still have days when it hits a bit harder. I bought my first pipe in 1986. A Peterson 150. When those feelings hit hard, I pack a nice pipe, and take a walk. Remembering the lessons learned, and what he meant to me, and what I meant to him. Keep the faith young man. God speed.
Hello from England, I'm 77, and I've been smoking pipes since I was 11 yes old. I have subscribed to your channel. Pipe smokers tend to look before they leap.
Although not a pipe smoker me self, my grandfather was A PIPE Aficionado! He was the absolute definition of a Scholar and Gentleman! Yes, you sir are of the same caliber! We NEED not just MEN.... We NEED GENTLEMEN. And I LOVE how you are keeping the pipe lit and representing what a pipe smoker and GENTLEMAN is all about! I needed this, and the rest of my generation, even more so!
It astounds me to see a hobby like this where I have never once seen someone who was being impolite or behaving like an idiot, even in RUclips comments! Every piper on RUclips is so calming and well mannered, you could even watch them in polite company! This kind of thing just doesn't exist anywhere else, I hope it never goes away
Imagine all of western civilization at one point put manners and civilized behavior at the forefront of what really mattered. What a time it was to be alive.
Gentlemen will never die. America is a mixing bowl of initiation from every country in the world. It will take time to fully integrate people and form our own culture apart from our European ancestors. This is what it feels like to live through history
As a pipe smoker and a pastor I believe that my faith and time spent talking to God are intertwined and it's time set aside to relax and listen to God and review what scriptures I've read that day and the sermon I'm about to preach or just preached the previous Sunday...my grandfather had a profound effect on my life and many treasured discussions we had were discussed while he smoked his pipe...I will continue to pass this tradition on as he did to me...God bless you and your channel... Thank you for creating this channel and the work it takes to share your thoughts. I have been a pipe smoker for over 40 years. This CODE that you speak of, is a significant part of a much larger philosophy on living and that we strive to achieve and pass on to the next generation of pipe smokers .
As an Englishman it must be known that I will (unfortunately so) use profane language every now & again especially when making points or expressing an opinion. Not so much that I will be effing & blinding every sentence, but adding ‘colour’ to my language is a very English, wether gentlemanly or common class, way of things. I must add that during conversation we must find the appropriate times to have a laugh & use such language, because there are times where we must come back to Earth & speak gently, when such topics come around. I believe that the role of a pipe smoker is to be responsible & good hearted in all that they do. The enjoyment of a pipe & a good conversation with one or more people is key, focusing on the, again, ENJOYMENT of the hobby, it exists as such a thing to allow us not to worry about the things outside of whatever you may be discussing, and gives us a time to relax & reflect. God bless brother
I agree, I'm English and it's true we swear but there's a limit that most people know and we know when and where. It can colourfully enhance a comment, be amusing and sometimes make a point.
As a courtesy I wanted to say thank you for your video. I’m 41 years old now and took up pipe smoking almost two years ago. My grandfather passed away over twenty years ago and I saved his collection of pipes from going into the trash. I have no memory of him smoking. After learning from instructional videos by another RUclips creator I have developed a love for smoking a pipe. My wife loves the aroma. My friends who smoke cigars together include me in those gatherings. It’s a conversation starter among strangers. Everyone says it suits me. It’s akin to being a writer or a curmudgeon; you’re not really a pipe smoker until someone else says that you are one. Your content and pleasant manner of presentation is much appreciated.
Out of all the channels focusing on pipe smoking you articulate best what drew me to smoking one myself. I tend to agree with all your points in this video. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Your words my fine sir shall not be forgotten this video was quite healing and it's made me reflect on the way that I need more self conscious about taking better care of myself I didn't think to find that in a video about pipe smoking that being said I'm quite thankful for your words may your days be forever blessed!
Hello from France! Your insightful commentary is a joy to listen to. And with the best accent of them all to boot! Reminds me of times gone by. You know, when people had values and made a daily effort to abide by them.
So glad I stubbled into you! As a boy I always enjoyed time with my uncle, his conversations and the smell of his pipe. I learned many things during our talks. Keeping your belongings well maintained, a washed and waxed vehicle, polished shoes, the smell and texture of fine leather goods like a briefcase or belt, the enjoyment of a finely crafted double barrel shotgun, how to be respectful and listen to the stories of your elders. The smell of cherrie cavandish brings those childhood memories back to me again. I think I may go buy a pipe this weekend . Thanks for your content!
I just stumbled upon your channel today. Very impressed on your words of wisdom. I'm a pipe smoker myself. And a avid reader. I read books on mostly history, science, technology and politics. You have a very rare southern charm I haven't seen in years.
Charleston SC native here just getting in to pipe smoking and stumbled onto your channel and it's quickly become one of my favorites. I would love to visit your store once it's built. Keep up the good work! Happy new year!
Just wanted to say thanks for sharing. I haven't met many pipe smokers (two, so far!) in my country so youtube pipers give me the vibe I like around smoking the pipe and I like listening to the tips while working, it helps me focus! It is completely different from smoking cigarettes or weed. My mother even doesn't mind that I smoke the pipe
I stumbled across this channel looking for topics on pipe smoking. I'm glad I did! I agree with all of your points, and needed to hear this. Please post more videos regarding etiquette and being a gentleman in a world where the true gentleman is vanishing.
I don't know how RUclips brought me here, it's an amazing channel. I love this conversation, I don't smoke a pipe but was considering it and didn't know where to start and after finding you I think I will.
What’s funny is I was just talking to my pipe smoking friends about how much I enjoy reading while smoking a pipe. I’m old school and only read paper books though. I can’t do the “digital” reading thing lol. 100% agree with the health aspect also
I recently have taken to pipe smoking. My maternal grandfather would don a smoking jacket in the evening after dinner, he would smoke a bowl of his favorite leaf in the lower living room quarters. That's been decades ago. When you talk of manners and respect, I have a shop where I work on vehicles and tractors, for myself, as a hobby. I will not allow smoking in my shop because of fire hazards, and I will not in anyone else's shop out of consideration and respect. I am, however, not above offering a beer and a sit down outside if a smoke is desired. With all things being cordial and friendly. I've just subbed your channel and 👍
You have one of the calmest voices I have ever heard. And you speak with a lot of weight. Honestly your videos and little chats by the fireside have really helped to releive some stress. Thank you.
So very well said, sir! I am a 25 year old first time pipe smoker. I used to smoke cigarettes and dip tobacco. I quit all forms of nicotine cold turkey for several months, but found I still enjoyed a social smoke every now and then. Pipe smoking lets me scratch that itch in a very intentional and arguably safer way. Your video is so spot on. Speak well, dress well, be mindful, take care of oneself... I am subscribing. And can't wait to plan that road trip to your store when it opens! John
I found your channel in the last three or four months. I gave myself a present this year with my birthday. Pipe smoking at age 49. Loved your videos and sad to see that you have discontinued your dream with this hobby. I agree with all you presented in this session. I strongly agree with your last unwritten commandment, which was health. I am a PT in the geriatric community of rehabilitation. The obesity rate I see with my patients and coworkers, is getting worse. I run 4 miles a day in the morning and cook my own food 99 percent. Ride motorcycles as I don't own a running car. I have been fat twice in both my marriages that have both ended in divorce and found it is unhappiness that creates food addiction. Media and habits create unhappiness. This habit of smoking a pipe every night has brought me calm and time to think about myself. I thank you for assisting me in this new habit that brings pleasure.
All valid points & the suggestions well delivered !!! The general public here in the states especially , need to know what a pipe & cigar connoisseur is & does , within our practice's & ritual's !!! Such as we do not inhale ' thereby avoiding the addiction aspect of tobacco & only go for the taste / flavor & the smell / aroma of the experience !!! Sad to say that like coffee drinkers who chose only to rinse their cups rather than wash them each outing , we a have a similar class of pipe smoker's that bang away at their pipes without clearing & freshening between fills !!!
I stumbled upon this video in the pipe genre and I was soon finding myself agreeing with your sentiments (namely your impatience with profanity). I’m going to be subscribing! I’m on the Texas Gulf Coast and wish there were a pipe shop near me to go puff with gentlemen.
Thanks so much for this information out here. All that you have mentioned here is my type of man, very hard to come by but finally I met one and as a major trait of a member of this society ..I am definitely keeping him. I am proudly a pipe person 👍🏽
Found your website by a fortuitous rummage around and was absolutely entranced by your vocal delivery and regional accent which when you were searching for a phrase to encapsulate a pipe smoker , "contemplative" immediately came to mind? I still have my traditional briar pipe which I acquired in my early 'midlife crisis' of 25ish, some 40 years on I feel now maybe the right time to rekindle that pastime and particularly in the fashion that you so eloquently describe. I quit smoking cigarettes of which I smoked very few anyway some 10 years ago now but was exclusively a fan of "proper" American Peter Styvesant. Incidentally I have an ex Brother in law who was very much an Anglophile but has now returned to his family and homestead in South Carolina, boy did his time in Europe and England knock his accent out of him! with time I dare say it will return.
Well said sir! As a younger pipe smoker(27) it’s good to learn these qualities. I’m an old soul at heart and my pipe is a fine way for me to unwind after work and sit in peace.
27 here as well! Reading Lord of the Rings got me into it this last April, after a lifetime of being staunchly against any form of smoking. Always been an 'old soul' myself, though I fell out of use of that phrase when I learned that it's quite a literal one, being based upon a superstition of reincarnation. It's rare that weather is fair where I live, but I've really taken a shine to it all! I've got nearly three Ball mason jar packs full of blends I've tried!
22 year old pipe smoker here I would definitely say I am an old soul as well. I also have a deep admiration for fountain pens which I feel most people no longer appreciate as deeply as they should@@Eire_Go_Deo
A Gentleman. This is a very brief Masterclass on how to achieve such goals. The Pipe and Tobacco are reflections of growth and wisdom whilst in the past, present and future. Very well done sir.
I watched your presentation carefully and found it very stimulating and informative. I only joined the pipe smoking fraternity just recently, and realized that smoking the pipe is much broader than just smoking the pipe which by the way I enjoy very much! Even before I decided to start the hobby I realized it should be a gentlemanly activity, something special, at least for me! Please forge ahead with these videos. They are very special!! I am from South Africa and I am a retired educator.
Great information as a gentleman of the older generation (55 +) many of your points are how I grew up,to present yourself, dress proper, well mannered & how you treat/respect others,as a Navy Veteran & spending my time in the south know full well were you're coming from something more places need to learn,as far as the health benefits go,far more unhealthy the lifestyle most live, rush rush here & there, sit idle on their smart phones & eat nothing but prefab crap out of a box
As a person about to venture into the world of pipes, I've been doing some research of the basics. Loading a pipe, proper smoking technique, etc. This video was an unexpected, but welcomed addition to that research. I'm a long time cigar smoker, but have been fascinated with pipes since i was a child. The aroma, the visuals, and the types of people I saw smoking pipes. The subject of this video, and it's content is key among them. I miss the traditional gentleman. A person who carried themselves with honor and a well balanced sense of pride and humility. Thank you for the education. Have a blessed day sir.
Thank you for sharing your thought through this video. I am new to pipe smoking and find it quite calming and a great way to compliment a good book or just to sit and think by the fire under the stars of God’s awesome creation or to think through obstacles that I may face. Thank you again for sharing. Blessing to you my friend from North Georgia.
With my new-found passion of this world, on this “level”, this man - his points and views and perspectives are truly inspiring. And honestly, just plain awesome. Love it.
Thank you, sir. I most often enjoy smoking a cigar on most occasions, but have smoked a pipe in the past and am starting back into this again. My grandfather smoked a pipe most of my life and I can remember the smell still today. I also appreciate that you give God credit in your life.
Sir it's refreshing to hear a southern gentleman speak of manners and responsible. I have tried a pipe but prefer cigars and came across you channel by accident. Thank you for your wisdom I am subscribing. In this day and age we need people like you. Thank you Bryan Allen Williams.
Thanks for this, and so true. I have had many introspective and philosophical conversations while tending my favorite Molina, with a Burley Cavendish blend.
Thank you so much. That was great advice and wonderfully chosen words for sure, it has given me a lot to unpack and ponder as I live into this pipe smoking lifestyle. Blessings!
It is refreshing to see (and hear) someone talk without the use of profanity. It is also refreshing to hear someone expound on the qualities and merits of a gentleman pipe smoker. Yes, we are always on display, and the way we talk and conduct ourselves will leave an Impression (hopefully a positive one) of a personality most would want to emulate. Most pipe smokers are perceived as being worldly (in a good way), mature, wise, and contemplative of life in general and the well-being of those around them. Yes, one should take the time to be well read and able to contribute to any conversation in a positive, well-informed, and constructive way. Thank you for sharing your viewpoint and I heatedly agree with you, and I am impressed that you do take the time to read books.
in the past few years I have been stopping using curse words. It's harder then I thought it would be. I think it's cause I grew up seeing it was ok so got in the habit. As a man now even when I hear a recording of me saying a curse word I feel ashamed. So it's nice to see other people advocate for less profanity
I just started smoking a pipe about a few months ago. Love your channel. My dad passed away before I could really get to know him. He was more worried about his life than mine. It would be great to have a conversation sometime. I’m always worried about if I’m doing something wrong or not. I would love to have some support, if I could. I always feel having a pipe at the end of my day calming, but it would be great to have it with someone that shares the same as me. Being in Ohio that’s difficult.
Great points sir. I'm not a pipe smoker myself, but I agree with most everything said in this video. I'm 47 and have seen many things change in my lifetime, most not for the better. Many people seem totally lost, so I can really appreciate someone taking the time to share some good advice, obviously coming from a place of love and humility.
I absolutely love this channel. The wisdom, fun content, and articulate manner in which it is spoken is wonderful. A fellow book lover. A fellow history lover. I resonate with all of your topics of discussion. Thank you for all of your work sir.
A wonderful video, my friend. This made me genuinely happy to watch and it's nice to see such a healthy mindset and encouragement to be the best possible version of ourselves. A video where all points made are applicable even outside of this hobby that we all enjoy so much. Much love.
I have just recently discovered your channel and this happened to be the first video I watched due to it’s title. I found your views on the subject to be very interesting, especially with how you incorporated pipe smoking with every day etiquette, life style, life choices, and your faith. Not a pipe smoker myself, although I have smoked one a time or two, I have recently had the urge to take up the, well, I would say habit but that’s the wrong word and tends to give the activity a negative connotation. I have thought of starting pipe smoking. I have since watched a few other videos and enjoyed them. Thank you for the content.
This was most enjoyable, and wise advice to boot. Additionally, as Florida boy, born in NC, and raised by Yankee parents, I found your SC accent soothing. This content is well told indeed.
Well stated. Behaving in a civil way, displaying common courtesy, used to be normal. However, such behavior isn’t being taught in many homes today, nor being reinforced in educational settings. If pipe smokers can share such civility, all the better.
I believe we both share an idea of a Gentleman pipe smoker. A person of generalized common character may smoke a pipe and not change the perception of his image. Whereas a gentleman pipe smoker might exhibit a finer representation of the depth of their culture. A person should, IMHO, stand true to their integrity, personal responsibility, honor and conduct becoming of a proper gentleman. Decorum and respect for one's self and the company they occupy should repel loose course language. Of course, there are no foundations of conduct and smokers fill the measures of multiple social hierarchy. For me, I am a thinker and this event in my day gives me reason to pause, slow my pace and reflect or ponder deeper thoughts and ideas. I also enjoy to solitude which provides peace and quiet for the personal time for myself. I side with all points well made during your presentation. Thank you for sharing.
You are a very intelligent and articulate pipe proponent. I don't smoke that much, but I have Peterson, a French pipe, and 2 Missouri Mersham corn cob pipes, and I consider all of these pipes as equal. I smoke Prince Albert pipe tobacco, and my father's mother's family (Kellar) emigrated from North Carolina.
I so very much agree with you on cursing. I’ve heard even in crowded restaurants. I have a feeling that if the offender were quietly and even gently confronted, he’d have raised his voice and doubled down. Such are many people nowadays.
These are very good and thoughtful points! Smoking in general is kinda seen in a negative way, most of it is really how cigarette smokers display themselves in public. I think its important for both cigar and especially pipe smokers to attempt a change in how smoking is viewed and to show how these types of smoking should be differentiated from cigarettes. By doing so practicing proper ettiquete
Thank you for your views on life and how one should act and present oneself. Your point on a lack of interest in sports, the way to present yourself with good language without profanity is very important to me. I primarily smoke my pipe in the evening while relaxing with my wife, a shot of congnac and something to read. Your approach to life is "right up my alley" so to speak. I thoroughly enjoy your videos.
Sending thanks for this gentlemanly contribution, from here in the countryside of Derbyshire England. There’s a rich tradition of pipe smoking here, but I’m just as blessed by my cousins from ‘across the pond’. I’ve recently enjoyed some fine aromatic tobacco shipped from the US, which I’ve imbibed every Saturday afternoon, sitting by the river in our garden, situated in the shire here in Ashover UK. Really enjoyed your video. It makes me wish I lived nearby, so as to patronise your fine establishment. Your values correlate with those I learned in the north east of England: family, decency, self-control, and humility. I’ve also subscribed to your channel; what a find.
This was a very nice list of points that suit not only pipe smoker but every man. I've also been walking almost every day and it really makes me feel better. I also notice that it helps with my anxiety. Thank you for reminding me of these important ways a pipe smoker should carry themself. Take care.
Hello sir. Just came across your channel due to the fact of being new to the community of pipe tobacco. Wanted to learn more in regards to pipe tobacco, so I came to RUclips. I greatly appreciate the point of view you expressed. If we had more of that train of thought in the world it would definitely be a better place. These are the points I too express to my son of 18 years old. Love the content, love the message! Looking g forward to seeing and learning more. God Bless.
Thank you, sir, for all the your honesty and direct clarity. Being a Gentleman is how I was raised. You talk is spot on. I recently had weight issues, took responsibility for it, and have change my life style and journey. I can say 100% you are on target with this talk. All the best.
This was a great video that really sums up why I'm interested in the pipe lifestyle. Modern society is missing class and ettiquette, and slowing down to think is always a good thing.
I just sort of stumbled upon this video, and I really appreciate it. My great grandfather was a pipe smoker; when I was a young boy I was always fascinated by it. I began smoking a pipe in college, but about three years ago, at 66 years old, I gave it up after being denied life insurance coverage. I protested but to no avail. Be that as it may, I often think of firing one up with a bowl of my favorite blend. I miss it.
I am a new subscriber to your channel and find this video most informative. I have been smoking a pipe since 1967 and have always tried to be the things you have said. If I sit down, even outdoors, I will ask those in the immediate area if my pipe will bother them. Most of the time they will say no, I rather like it. If not I will refrain until I get somewhere else. You touched on other areas I have not thought of but will in the future.
As a British subject I have to agree with my Scottish brother on the issue of your accent, now I also agree with so much of this message my son said "what" today I told him "Mr Watt invented double piston steam engines" he said 'No not Mr watt, what" so I said " I do not know of such a word, you do not mean pardon do you" by then he got the message corrected himself and learnt something. God bless Sir
Dang I had to give up smoking cigarettes because of issues with my lungs. I would love to have tried a pipe at least once. I admire the character of every pipe smoker I've ever seen or meant.
Never too late to begin! You don't inhale pipe smoke, you puff ..I was fortunate enough to have never developed lung problems, dispite having been a 2-3 pack a day guy at one time in my life. I was able to quit cigarettes in part thanks to the pipe...never the less, I like to smoke my pipe outdoors..in part to avoid second hand smoke... although some blends smell wonderful indoors...
Why do I smoke a pipe? “A pipe gives a wise man time to think and a fool something to stick in his mouth.” - C.S. Lewis
AWESOME quote sir- thank you for that.
Not always mutually exclusive lol!
Exactly but I don't know which category I fall into😂
Excellently stated 😆
I love that!
As a Scotsman, it is my humble opinion that your accent is most enjoyable to hear outside the highlands. Thank you for sharing.
As another scotsman from the Highlands its great to hear you're to hear all your views and appreciation the time you take to do the video
I'm predominantly Scotch Irish and I love the smell of pipe tobacco and I am a pipe smoker of thirteen years into smoking pipe and let me tell you I'm 35 years old and still smoking a pipe. His English is very clear, well pronounced.
I lost my father 2 years ago when I was 17. The wise words in this video is what I really need right now as I'm currently feeling lost and confused. Thank you sir for sharing your wisdom. Loved your wisdom in this video.

I really appreciate this discourse.

So very happy to come across your channel, cheers with a glass on me.
Charleston SC native here just getting in to pipe smoking and stumbled onto your channel and it's quickly become one of my favorites. I would love to visit your store once it's built. Keep up the good work! Happy new year!
I am a new pipe smoker and these points very much so align with my way of being. Thank you sir
Very inspiring monologue. Thank you.
First time here.

"Their story looks different than yours." This is such a simply worded yet sharp insight, I'll be sure to pass this on when I can. Thank you.
Quite the good opening you have. Love the book opening and the pipe info. Good job.
What’s funny is I was just talking to my pipe smoking friends about how much I enjoy reading while smoking a pipe. I’m old school and only read paper books though. I can’t do the “digital” reading thing lol. 100% agree with the health aspect also
Yes Sr. Nothing like holding and feeling a book in your hands while reading and smoking (in my case, cigar).
This has been very fun. I’m enjoying my journey with you. I appreciate all of your stoic and honestly easy to follow philosophy.
Thank you.
Absolutely fantastic. Would love if you ever opened a shop in London, especially if I could sit down and smoke with a gentleman like yourself.

What a pleasure it was to find this video and to enjoy your presentation. Subscribed.
So very well said! All such excellent points shared. Thank you-
I stumbled upon this video in the pipe genre and I was soon finding myself agreeing with your sentiments (namely your impatience with profanity).
Found your website by a fortuitous
rummage around and was absolutely entranced by your vocal delivery and regional accent which when you were searching for a phrase to encapsulate a pipe smoker , "contemplative" immediately came to mind?
I very much concur with the views presented here - as a pipe smoker from Australia. God Bless!
Well said sir! As a younger pipe smoker(27) it’s good to learn these qualities. I’m an old soul at heart and my pipe is a fine way for me to unwind after work and sit in peace.
I’m a 25 year old pipe smoker (started at age 23 during the first lockdown) and I completely agree. I’m an old soul too and my pipe elevated my mood.
I’m 31 and smoked a pipe at a smoke lounge and all the old heads was shock and excited
You are absolutely correct about displaying your pipes correctly. I have a nice wall shelf and they are all lined up facing the same way
Been a pipe smoker for 22 years. Just marvellous. Thanks so much!
A Gentleman. This is a very brief Masterclass on how to achieve such goals. The Pipe and Tobacco are reflections of growth and wisdom whilst in the past, present and future. Very well done sir.
Dr. H. I appreciate and admire your unbending standards of conduct. Refreshing in todays crumbling society with no behavior standards.
I don’t care what anyone says, a strong, southern accent is the most elegant accent in the states.
I watched your presentation carefully and found it very stimulating and informative. I only joined the pipe smoking fraternity just recently,
and realized that smoking the pipe is much broader than just smoking the pipe which by the way I enjoy very much! Even before I decided
to start the hobby I realized it should be a gentlemanly activity, something special, at least for me!
My new favorite channel!
Great Advice!!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I need to walk more this year. I’m glad your stores are doing well!
Thank you so much. That was great advice and wonderfully chosen words for sure, it has given me a lot to unpack and ponder as I live into this pipe smoking lifestyle. Blessings!
I love all of your content. I could listen to you on any subject. You embody the whole reason i picked up the pipe. Thank you and God bless you.
Thanks for the video. Really apreciated to hear you and your videos Allan. New pipe smoker here and you are a great influence to all.
Well said on the subject of pipe hygiene - nobody wants to be downwind of a nasty old tar-soaked pipe.
Finally, someone sat and wrote it all down. Etiquette is essential for pipe smoking. I look forward to more videos from the good doctor in the future.
I just began smoking a pipe earlier this month. Your videos have been most helpful. Thank you 🙏
From 3k to almost 4.5k subscribers in only 2 months! Glad to be one of them.
Very well said, sir. Thank you for the video.
I absolutely love this channel. The wisdom, fun content, and articulate manner in which it is spoken is wonderful. A fellow book lover. A fellow history lover. I resonate with all of your topics of discussion. Thank you for all of your work sir.
The old school is the best school….the 1920’s-1960’s was a dark place from a racism standpoint but the way men dress and talk was at its peak
Excellent words of advice. Take care of yourself and what god gave you.
A wonderful video, my friend. This made me genuinely happy to watch and it's nice to see such a healthy mindset and encouragement to be the best possible version of ourselves. A video where all points made are applicable even outside of this hobby that we all enjoy so much. Much love.
I’ve never smoked a pipe in my life but I enjoyed this so much. Thank you.
If pipe smokers can share such civility, all the better.
right wing fundamentalist pricks don't need courtesy they need to have smoke blow up their faces :)
Good advice for folks in general regardless if they smoke a pipe or not. Well done sir.
Quite a thought provoking commentary. Thank you
You are a very intelligent and articulate pipe proponent.
I miss it.
This is some godly wisdom right here. Blessings from New Zealand
I am so appreciative you took the time to share this video.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the unwritten code of behavior for pipe smokes. I agree with all and particularly, point two. Take care.
Shouldn't use the French. Should be "sorry", sorry.
