Hey Larry... just discovered you on RUclips yesterday and am blown away by your version of "Baby, I'd Love you to Want Me"... Never heard it sung like that before.. I LOVE it!. it has struck a real chord with me...😊 Anyone who has grown up and lived with the music of the last 60+ years will definitely agree with all that you've said.. I would not be anywhere near your level musically... but I do strum along and sing a bit with my ukuleles.. I get great pleasure and a lot of comfort from it... It has been both a pleasure and a privilage to hear you sing and play.. Thankyou for putting out this video about your musical journey... All best wishes from Ireland.. ☘️ ❤😊👍🏽
In your own right, You have already achieved the highest level of music, which is playing music just for the joy of playing it which comes from the soul. Which reflects the quality, and how the music is played.
Larry, I’ve always enjoyed your immense talents, and think of you whenever I watch anybody that has talent, but not yet discovered by the masses. You left us a while ago, but thankfully through the miracle of video recording, and you gifting us with your fine efforts, you’re always with us, on demand, 24/7. I take comfort knowing that, and I thank you. I even like hearing you talk, sharing your life, interested in hearing whatever you have to say. RIP Larry, thank you so much for sharing. I hope there is something for us after we finish up on this earth. I hope to hear you play again. Your anecdote about Glen Campbell was terrific, because like you, he made me want to play. I remember walking up to the drugstore to buy some hairspray so I might get my hair to look like his. I, unlike you, didn’t have the talent, or the drive after I got kicked out of band in 6th or 7th grade because I had zero natural talent. I figured the teacher was right, no Hollywood script here, because my parents were not, or maybe did not know how to, reinforce and support my struggle. For anyone seeking Larry’s obituary, it can be found online. His full name to search is Larry Ludwikowski.
Larry, as I sit here on my 56th birthday, I find myself watching you and this clip about your musical journey and only wish I could play and sing as well as you. I have watched you over the years because we have similar stories and tastes in music, including the loss of a brother. Thank you so much for taking the time to learn your songs and sharing your talent with us. You need to know that you have achieved your dream. You are the musician, like Glen Campbell, who has inspired so many like me who only wish we could be like you. Play on!!
Having just discovered Larry a couple of days ago I’m sad to know that he passed away a year or so ago. Would love to have known him personally as I’m sure all of his followers would. Rest In Peace, Larry L.
Larry, you are an icon in my household on a daily basis. My son thinks you are the greatest ever. He is only 9 years old, and has cerebral palsy since birth. No other videos will do. His first choice is always Larry L. Everyday for over a year now!
I love you Larry ! No, I'm not gay. What I mean is I love your spirit and your attitude and your drive to be a great musician since you were a young child ! You ARE a great musician !!! That speech on your life is precious. Thank you for opening up like that. I used to listen to The Monkees and More of the Monkees over and over. Love them and Glen Campbell. I recorded him on Larry King singing his 6 biggest hits with just an acoustic guitar, no backing. Fantastic. I transferred it from VHS to digital so it's on my computer. If you want it, I'll send it to you. (I learned how to send large files through DropBox). Greatest concert I ever attended was Andy Williams at the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford CT. Bought 2 tickets by calling PBS while watching a Christmas special to promote Andy Williams Christmas show. Lucked out - front row, center. He kept looking at me and my wife. Real cool. Sang his best Christmas songs - to us. OMG. Anyway, you are my main inspiration now. The way you play and sing. Such a high level of expertise. So many little things you do in songs that probably many people might not pick up on. What you're doing on You Tube is VERY IMPORTANT ! Please keep doing it. Thank you Larry !!!
Damn I love hearing people talk about the muse like you did just now and we obviously picked up on your talent from all your dedication to this great thing we call music I salute you Larry.
Larry we miss you miss you. Its almost like youre still with us. I still watch your videos as Ive been for years now. Thank you for just being great. We miss you brother.
Hey Larry, thanks for talking about your life as a musician, it means a lot to me! You are one of the best cover artists I've seen on RUclips, and I take you as a teacher and exemplar.
Hi Larry . First success isn't always what we think it should be. I watched Glenn Campbell and Johnny heartford every week. I ran a guitar shop and even bought an ovation guitar. Guitar playing became an annoyance to those around me so I sat it aside for nearly twenty years. I now play several hours a day and build guitars in my spare time. When I want to play a song I look for your rendition. Your thoroughness and subtleties are as good as anyone I have ever heard. Thanks for you contributions and thank you for letting me know a little about the successful musician you are. From someone who studied classical guitar , taught guitar professionally and worked hard at it ,you are incredible.
First, it's nice to know I'm not alone in how I ticked as a young man and today. Second, I have played and sang for 30 years and it wasn't until I discovered your videos that I put my stuff on social media so my friends could experience that side of me. People I've known my whole life have told me they never even knew I played music. It's been very gratifying and has been a great outlet for me. Thanks for the inspiration!
All I can say is you have talent and you were sent here to do that i was born in 58 an I have the voice to sing most any song but guitar skill weak but cause of your videos I am working on it thanks my friend 😉
Phil PrH Larry I have just watched this video and I have to say it just demonstrates your passion for music and most importantly your guitar playing. Over the years I have watched your youtube videos and you are an inspiration for anyone who has aspirations about learning guitar, I was 29 years old when a 50 year old friend of mine told me he had bought a guitar and was having private lessons, I had never considered this as something I wanted to do but I did like singing, so I thought I would give it try and bought a Spanish nylon strung cheap guitar. I took up a night school class and then later some private lessons at and the age of 35 I had a family and a very busy job and the two guitars I owned only got used now and then and finally 10 years later went into storage and not used again for 15 years. We later moved house and area and one night I went into this bar and a guitarist was the entertainer and he was covering all the sixties songs that loved and I started wishing I had never stopped so at the age of sixty I started again, and I am still doing it now (not as good as you though) I am now 73 and still not very good at it but just enjoy trying.
Yes, you are loved Larry. I am a little older than you, Polish, and born in Hawaii. The 60’s were so much fun. We all have our own history and how we got thru it. I am so happy you followed your passion so in that you are a success! Doing what you are meant to do is the best choice you can do for yourself. I will pray someone will see you and make your dreams come true. You are that good! Music is about truth and heartfelt meaning. When it comes from the heart you can’t go wrong. Keep on playing🎸and singing 🎤!
Hello Larry - I loved hearing about your influences and what drove you. I started playing later in life although I've always been glued to my albums. I ran across your video's many years ago and have been a fan ever since. I understand getting emotional when you work so hard at something and your passion is so high. Anyway I just wanted to tell you that since I've started my musical journey you have been a big influence of mine. Thank you for all you do.
Thanks Larry,I have found your music about 6 years now and I started to play too,I taught myself the piano and guitar,I have been making some videos too, some are bad but I post them anyway knowing that oneday I WOULD GO BACK AND MAKE EM BETTER AND THAT IS WHAT i HAVE BEEN DOING.I this whole idea from watching and listening to you brother,Your awesome Larry and your loved,Thanks for all you do and thanks for being real,Please don't ever stop,God bless you !
Thanks for sharing Larry. I've been to Reading a few times. We live in the Anthracite Coal Region about an hour or so away. I too am of Polish descent and went to Catholic school but we won't talk about that lol I was born in 1953 and am ever so thankful for living in what I consider the best decade for music EVER, the 60's. Love your videos. You are doing exactly what you should be doing. Few of us can boast such a life.:o)
Thank you for singing Davy Jones and you are a great musician..I too miss Davy Jones and I also enjoy a variety of music but davy is one of my all time favorites.....would learn to learn more about you
Larry you're an amazing kind person . Thank you for sharing . When ever I see a video of someone playing and singing without feeling or emotion , i use to be guilty of that until I saw your videos lol .I send them over to your channel to get an idea how to capture what's missing . I'm 63 and like yourself , self taught . Traded my older brother for his guitar for my BB gun when I was 11 . Had to sneak out with my Green Apple Beatle book pd 1.50 for it , we weren't allowed to listen to "Devils music" . Anyways for Thanksgiving I went to my farm in Mo. I sang and played "Heart of Gold " to my grandkids ...not a dry eye out of all 10 of them ... Guess what ?...2 of my granddaughters set me up with their mother in laws ! Thank you For all you do :)
That was very touching, thank you for sharing your gifts and your heart. I wanted to become a nun for many years as well. Bless your family for always being supportive to your music.
Tremendously successful? >10,000 people have watched you just talking. You've connected in a major way to a lot of people who just LOVE music and the songs you celebrate. That's success in my book.
Hey Larry, I am writing here from Jakarta, Indonesia to say my biggest thanks to you for inspiring me musically. I am a 24 year old young man and personally love all genres and styles of music from the likes of The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Metallica to even modern pop artists such as Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran and John Mayer, and without you I would have never wanted to take the guitar a lot more seriously, especially after I watched your Time In A Bottle and You've Got A Friend cover videos 3-4 years ago. Had I never found you on the Internet, I would have not thought of doing music more seriously - since then I have always wanted to learn and contribute to the field, regardless whether I do it as a singer/performer or not. Please do not listen to your haters and just keep doing these music videos - play your music for yourself & the people who love it and want to hear more from you. Thank you for sharing your music to us because your passion is highly infectious. God bless you always and keep rocking Larry!
Well now ... this is such a treasure to find ... I am so glad you made this video, Thank You. I'll begin were you did (figured we had to be close in age, I'm 2 years younger) ... Louie, Louie by the Kingsman was one of my favs when young and I have some fantastic memories of it being played on my ex-sister-in-laws 8 track as we cruised about drinking cherry cokes. I watched and loved Glen Campbell (maybe not as much as you but ...) but I like Your music, some of your originals, more than any of his ... really how dare you compare yourself to others ... "... for always there will be those greater and lessor .... " anyway ... so ... I take it you never became a minister (or priest?) ... I became one on-line in 2011 and not just so I could marry someone (like many do) although I have not ever done anything with that ... but I still think about forming a "Chapel of Love". Success is all about how you feel ... and it sounds as if you are fully successful ... I was surprised to find out you had not made a CD (but am not sure maybe you have now???). You did what I did not do in life ... you followed that Love of music ... I did not (although I do really enjoy listening). What you did today just blew me away ... I so look forward to listening to ALL your covers. Love & Peace to All
Thank you for sharing your life story you and I have traveled the same path and yes.I remember listening to records over and over trying to get the riffs down down . When the Beatles came out I was hooked my older brother had a record collection and your life story is a mirror of so many young men of our generation It even brought back a memory the first-time we herd credence we set listening to bad mood rising over and over on his brothers 45 car record player hooked to a car battery in his room till the battery died. Love what you do God Bless.
Hey Larry, Wanted to say when I was a young twenty year old, I was driving out to move to Santa Fe, NM from Louisiana by myself, it was nearing sunset across the vast open land of northern Texas and Wichita Lineman came on the radio. A most beautiful feeling came over me as I drove and listened, and I fell very much in love with the song. Within Glen Campbell's voice in Wichita Lineman lives a most beautiful compassionate spirit. I know, I heard it that late summer afternoon in 1974.
I can finally thank you for sharing SO much talent. I have been watching your videos for several years. I am so impressed with you level of emotion that you put into each song. You have a God given talent! Thanks again and please keep the songs coming!
Hi, Larry. Thank you for sharing and opening your heart to us fans. You know, somehow i identify with your story... your love for music... and the music you love... although i´m from Costa Rica and lived in CR all my life (I´m 59) it´s incredible how much alike our favorite music is. Blessings and keep making music! Your spirit is as BIG as any Rhinestone Cowboy!!!
Thank you for sharing with us your lifetime relationship with music, Larry. You're a brilliant musician and a kind person for opening yourself up to the world. Keep on making all that beauty!
Larry, I want to thank you for doing this video. I usually never comment on anyone's page but I've followed you for a while now and I just had to comment and say thank you for not only putting yourself out their but thanks for all of your videos and all that you do! It's greatly appreciated by myself and I'm sure a lot of other people! Music is such a fulfilling part of our lives, no matter what level of musicality we are at, it's a blessing. God bless Glenn Campbell and you Larry!
Thank you so much for sharing. Like yourself I also fell in love with music as a kid (I'm around your age) and listened endlessly to albums, however I picked up the guitar later in life but never pursued it as you so it is just a hobby for me and helps me to unwind. Been following your videos for a couple of years and they are inspiring and I have learned from them. Thanks for your dedication and for sharing.
I love you Larry when you play Beatles. I'm from Brasil and I love to see you play the guitar. It is cool . I admire you for so much talent. You inspire me out to play the guitar. Thanks a lot.
Thank you so much for doing this. I have enjoyed listening to your music & I know many others have as well. This video about your music path was very touching. It's wonderful that you are able to share your talent with us, and take time to share some of the rest of your story!

I know it's an old post but just listened to your brilliant, honest story, I myself started out when I was 13 with my best mate me on guitar him on tambourine, eventually he persuaded his parents to get him a kit and we toddled off on the bus with his mum and got his first kit for £70 blue sparkle Del Ray and formed our first band with another school pal , we played clubs and pubs for 3years before he left to join Def Leppard who were a pub band and the rest is history , for years I struggle with his massive success but I was also very proud and he's still my best mate to this day and I visit him at his home in Malibu, I'm still playing pubs and clubs and never " made it" but it took me years to realise it's not about that ,it's about being able to play even if it's just in the bedroom , I say this having worked with people with disabilities who can never even pick up a guitar, my friend Rick lost his left arm but with determination and great technology was able to carry on at the highest level ,i wish you all the best ,keep up with the great songs ,you are brilliant 👍
Been listening and watching you perform for at least seven years and really enjoy and appreciate your music. Thanks so much for your life story. I have often wondered about that so the mystery is now gone. Your so talented and hopefully you will keep on entertaining for many more years. Stay well.
You inspire people, you are what real people are, you must never stop. I love your piano works. I am 52 yrs old and just wish I could play like you. God has blessed you to move others. Thank you so much. Please keep going on the never ending road. Thank you very much.
Larry , your obviously a man of vast intellectual and emotional growth. Thank you for sharing your story and masterful covers and remember there are many yardsticks for success the least being fame and fortune. Good luck and keep pursuing your own identity in music.
Never realized you grew up so close to me, I'm from Bethlehem township, Pa. area and about the same age. I also never took lessons but never started guitar until my late 20's, early 30's .Thank you so much for showing me so many things. I appreciate all the time you take to teach people like me over the years. Glad to see someone else shares the love of music. On a side note I can remember doing a report on Glen Campbell in 8th grade. He was such a underappreciated musician. What a talent. Thanks for sharing.
It takes courage to let one's defenses down and tell it all like that. It makes you all the more human and real to us, your friends. Thank for all you do for us. All the best.
I'm glad you will never stop. I know your ears are trained to hear perfection, as a musician, but man, to these ears of mine you're every bit the inspiration and godsend that Glen Campbell is. What you do and who you are has uplifted me in the same way you describe for yourself. Much love, Larry! Never stop! NEVER stop!
Larry, this is what success is: putting your music out to an audience who knows how good your music is. Larry, you are what true music is all about. When I get to hear my favorite musicians/drummers tell about how they learned....this is what keeps me playing: hearing about that desire to learn and a true respect for the music you are playing.
Thanks for posting this, we all appreciate all you do. Would be nice to hear of more of you, like if your married, or have children or other hobbies or interests. Thanks again for the great music and lessons. you've made me like song I didn't know I liked. God bless!
Hi Larry, I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed hearing about your life and how much I truly enjoy your music. You and I share a love for music and I too can remember spending every dime I had buying 45s and albums when I was a child and a teenager. I still have all of my 45s and albums. You, my friend, are a true talent and you sing and play beautifully. I often like your version of a song better than the original. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. By the way, Glen Campbell is one of my favorites as well.
Dearest Larry. I only came across you by chance. I listened to James Taylor 'Handyman' which I love. There you were, Larry L cover, and I listened and I watched you and i could see and hear the love you had for music. I haven't been through all the songs you covered but I visit you as often as I can and I will carry on and on. What holds me back sometimes is the fact that I sing along to songs I know the lyrics to, or I close my eyes and listen and repeat, and repeat. I wanted to know about you and was happy to find the short video of your life so far. You made me cry, because you cried. I hope you realise that in my eyes you HAVE made it. I love your voice and the way you play . I hope those tears weren't because you feel you failed. If that's so, get that thought out of your head now, and thank you for being Larry L. Now, I don't know if you will get to read this but there is a singer named, Joan Armatrading. If you get the chance to cover these two songs, I would love to hear you do so. The songs are 'WILLOW' and 'THE WEAKNESS IN ME'. Play them loud, eyes closed and with a drink of you choice. I hope you will do covers of them. She has many more beautiful songs but these two mean a lot to me. THANKS FOR BEING YOU Larry L.
+Larry L, I just saw your Channel tonight and listened for almost 15 of your songs, I love your voice and how you sing. You're a Good Singer. ;), don't cry, hello.... You're good. You're loved. And also thanks for sharing your life. You're Not alone we're here for you.
Larry, Hello! You know I was sitting and watching a RUclips video of Crystal Blue Persuasion, and I saw yours below coming up next and I clicked on it and man so glad I did! The just scrolling through your playlist and listening and liking, your songs your talent, all of it, banjo, piano, and your singing ability, awesome! Then I got to this video about your life and I'm thinking this dude is my age and I related to everything you talked about like I was living my own life. I never got that far with my music ability like you have, I came from a musical family, everyone got together and played, we all sat around and listened. When you started talking about Glen Campbell I started getting emotional cause I loved his talent, yes, the Glen Campbell Hour, we watched that as a family. I recently watched his last road gig with his wife and daughter and the onset of altimers, I don't think that spelling is correct, anyhow tore me up, to see these people I grew up listening to on record. Sitttin On the Dock of the Bay, yes, one of my favorites. 1957 dude, carry on good stuff!!! Love it here in Utah!!
Ok...I'm back. Just listened to you doing my favourite Bread song 'Aubrey' as well as a number of others. You play guitar really well, you sing really well, and you perform really well. Each of your videos has had several thousand views ( some of them tens of thousands ). OK, you are not a world famous household name, but, in case you are in any doubt, you my friend are a successful musician.
Thank you so much for sharing your story. You are truly a blessed musician. The emotions that pour out of you when you are singing touch my soul. I have been watching your videos all day since early morning, Just can't seem to get enough. I too play the guitar but only wish I was half as good as you. Since I found your station I have something to look forward to. Just loving everything ! God Bless you Larry. You have been a blessing to me.
You have my respect Mr.; L. Like you I too have a deep passion for the music. As long as you continue to upload, I'll continue to listen and enjoy. Thank you for all the wonderful covers. Please continue to make music. I have a physical disability called Cerebral Palsy, that limits me from everyday activities like everyone else. Your videos have touched me inside and kept me strong. The music you cover is some of my favorites... The oldies. Thank you so much for putting smiles on me and my mom's faces. With much respect... -Kyle D.
Larry~You have thee biggest heart~These are thee most powerful & touching times you have shared ~Telling everyone of your love for music, & especially Glen Campbell & his music, is something words can"t do justice on~And, I know the whole family is so happy & proud with what you do, & up there smiling at you~This brings tears to my eyes all through it~GOD bless you & I Love You, my sweet friend~~ione marie~You ARE a true success~You love what you do & that's what makes your music & you SO loved
I am in some ways the same as you. I was born in 1960, I joined our school band in 5th grade. My siblings also played in the band, 3 of them, at least. One did not. I was a natural, as a saxophone player, and while sitting watching other players work with the director, I watched their fingers, and learned how to play nearly all the wind instruments. Since I had the availability at home to use my siblings horns, I got pretty decent on all wind instruments. I actually was a high school All American musician my senior year. I continued to mess around with things, learning a few more horns, like the oboe, and french horn. Then at the age of 30, I went through a divorce, and while working a full time job in a foundry, I found a band looking for a sax player. So I joined a rock and roll band, and suddenly found myself again watching people play a different instrument, in order to follow their chords. And so I learned to play guitar and bass, from that. I am not currently playing professionally, but I am considering starting to work into a gig once again. I just enjoy the back and forth you get with other musicians. I would love to find a band where people felt free to switch instruments back and forth. Anyway, thank you for opening up on this post, and letting us in. It was very inspirational.
wow, you are a total inspiration! YOU are a great musican. you are a great guitar player, a great singer, and a great entertainer. I have listened and played and recorded music all my life, I feel very fortunate to have found your posts. I'm going to try to listen to at least one song per night until I hear ALL 1000. Thank you so much for your efforts. please know that there is someone out there, everyone feel to chime in, that feels the way about your posts as you feel about the music that you so love and that has moved you over the years! THANK YOU! You ARE so good!
Larry i know you are no longer with us but your influence lingers on forever. I love your videos and have been watching them over and over again to learn how you play the guitar the way you did and i am winning a little so.far. Thank you for what you did for us all. RIP Larry.❤
Larry you are so right my friend, never give up on something you love doing the most. I have nothing but love & respect for you as a fellow musician and with a very similar back ground like you growing up. I to never gave up and still love performing when I can even though I am past my prime. Music was & is still my passion. I was very moved by hearing a bit of your life. I am so glad I discovered you on utube. You are a true talent and you lift my spirits with all your music. cheers my friend.
YOU'RE A COOL DUDE LARRY. FIRST TIME I HEARD YOU WAS YOUR YES I WILL VIDEO AND I WAS BLOWN AWAY BY THE SINCERITY OF IT. YOU COULD TELL IT CAME STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART.
I took clarinet in high school and l was in senior band in grade 9. I spent all my free time practising, took piano as well. But l mostly liked to play by ear and from 5 years of age l absolutely loved music. It is so interesting to hear your story Larry, because l think when you discover that you have a gift and the sky is the limit, it is the most beautiful journey to take in your whole life! You are so gifted, and l love your voice, your playing, all very well done! Thank you again, Larry.
Larry, thanks for sharing. Born 1958 myself, your story is much like mine. For me, you're right up there with +Jim Croce, James Taylor, Bobby Goldsboro and yes, +Glen Campbell. Your renditions touches our hearts and brings back fond memories. That goes beyond any measurement of success. God blessed you with a wonderful gift.
Lary, You are an extraordinary musician. I'm 60 years old, and I've been playing since the age of 10. In fact, I was in a band in the 70's, during my college years. Then, life happened, practically abandoned the guitar, got married, two boys (one no longer with us), various jobs, part-time mobile DJ during the 80', then again from 2006 to 2014, financial ups and downs, many struggles, picked up the guitar again about 10 years ago, then again left it in the corner. Recently picked it up again, this time for good, have a lot to learn and re-learn. You have motivated me to stick with it, and become better at it. Thank you Larry, for your priceless gift to all of us. Pierre.
When going thru a painful divorce I read a book called "Born To Win" in which it mentioned "positive stroking" meaning we, as humans, need compliments or positive interaction with other humans, preferably those close making the larger greater impact. That is what your music, your teaching, and your wisdom does. I recall "Louie, Louie". There was a station in Chicago, WLS, I believe, several states away but I'd get it on AM radio at night. As a 7 year old I sent a letter requesting the lyrics and by golly they sent it to me. 1960's. God bless America.
Very touching and heartfelt Larry, thank you. I was born July 8, 1959 and we listened to the same music growing up. I learned to play the piano and cello, still play the cello to this day. I wish I would have made the decision as you did to make music primary in my life, I feel regret for not having done so. Be thankful for your past, enjoy what you have, and smile toward the future.
Thank you so much Larry. I really enjoy the music you play and you play and sing very well. Fame and fortune is not the gift. Music is and you have the gift. I was born several years after you, 1963, but I have a lot of the same influences. I love Johnny Mathis. Andy Williams too. I really enjoy going through all your covers because all of them evoke a feeling. That's what makes an artist. Evoking feelings in the listener or observer. You have this gift too. I play the guitar also but I haven't put 1 % of the passion and determination that you have into the art. As the saying goes, "I don't play guitar because I am good at it. I play because I like it". You can really see your love for the music that you play and... you are good at it too. Thanks again Larry and keep playing.
I only recently discovered your videos and I enjoy them immensely. Your guitar playing completely floors me, and your voice and the passion you perform with is extraordinary. I see this was posted years ago so I don't know if you still check the comments, but I am very glad you posted this bit about yourself. I've been curious to know more about you. We are about the same age, within a couple years, and our stories are quite similar. I too am addicted to music, but I can't play like you brother. I so wish that I could. I like to think I'm a decent song writer, but damn I wish I could play like you. I said that twice cause I mean it. Keep entertaining us Larry. You are a force of nature.
Larry I am just seeing this video for the first time although I do subscribe and my wife and I have watched so many of your videos . I consider you as successful as you can be for a musician. The music industry per say is lost as far as talent is concerned. All is in transition and the giants are strenuously trying to hold the reins. You are living in that transition. RUclips is your element, and you are appreciated for what you have done without compensation. I hope you are in a band that gives you the financial compensation that at least will pay for the gear that you deserve. But I must say I would love to have your studio. If you lived near by I would consider you high on the list of people I would like to jam with although I would consider it a learning experience for me. Thank you for your work and for sharing your musical journey.
Larry, I love your Reflections recording, just beautiful. I am a new listener but look forward to looking up and listening to more of my favorites. Thanks for sharing your life with us, you are a beautiful person and add so much to the world... keep on recording!
You have been tremendously successful because of the joy you have brought to people. I thoroughly enjoy your videos especially your version of “light My Fire” THANKS!! Phil
Larry, I wish you a very Merry Christmas (2018). I started my day with your "Now & Then" videos and I think I'll end with this one ... or maybe I'll listen to a few of your Christmas songs ... Thank You for allowing yourself to be real here and for ALL your music ...
Larry L, Thanks so much for this video bio. You are a joy to watch and listen to. It is really great to hear the story of you becoming and being a musician. Many of your videos inspire me to practice more often, to try a little harder and hope one day to play like you. I know this is an old video but wow man, you moved me.
Hi Larry, I found your videos on RUclips by accident, but I have to say that I'm glad I did. Your passion for music really shows in this 'documentary' about yourself, you also show that you have many musical influences and like all types of music. Keep up the good work. All the best, Gordon Taylor, Scotland UK
You remind me of myself. Some of the things you mentioned, your experiences remind me of similar things I've done in my life. I'm also an emotional person as well. I love playing guitar and singing. The Beatles are the reason I got into playing. Your videos have been a great learning tool for me. Thanks you for posting them.
Larry, it's certainly worth it. These are great, songs, not like what passes for songs today, and you have a great talent. Girls' uniforms...ha ha. They can mess with your head alright! I think you have been successful. You touch people with these songs. We all have deep, personal memories attached to these songs. Keep trying, Larry. I only discovered you last week, but will be watching you sing a lot from now on. From West Cork, Ireland, I wish you nothing but the best. Anyone can see you're one of the good guys, and we need more people like you. Tony.
RIP Larry. Enjoying your music today as I think about you
Hey Larry... just discovered you on RUclips yesterday and am blown away by your version of "Baby, I'd Love you to Want Me"...
Never heard it sung like that before.. I LOVE it!. it has struck a real chord with me...😊
Anyone who has grown up and lived with the music of the last 60+ years will definitely agree with all that you've said..
❤😊👍🏽
My heart hurts, thinking of you Larry. I really miss you. Rest in peace. 😭😭😭😭😭
In your own right, You have already achieved the highest level of music, which is playing music just for the joy of playing it which comes from the soul. Which reflects the quality, and how the music is played.
That was deep and it is true, thanks for your comment.
That was refreshingly real. Only the good die young. Rest easy Larry.
Play on!!
You're Fuckin Awesome and Don't you 4 get it
Having just discovered Larry a couple of days ago I’m sad to know that he passed away a year or so ago. Would love to have known him personally as I’m sure all of his followers would. Rest In Peace, Larry L.
There is no doubt that you got close to him my friend! You are a fantastic artist!
Larry, you are an icon in my household on a daily basis. My son thinks you are the greatest ever. He is only 9 years old, and has cerebral palsy since birth. No other videos will do. His first choice is always Larry L. Everyday for over a year now!
Stephanie Lee yes Larry is an inspiration n he don’t realize it. God bless your son n you for taking the responsibility 🙏🙏🙏🖖
Thanks Larry for all the videos, because of those videos I learned to play the guitar. Thanks for all you do.
Larry, to me you are an entertainer. You've brought immeasurable joy to all of us.
Just happened upon your post last night by accident. Wife went to bed at 10...I stayed up till 2 watching your videos! Good stuff amigo.
Just watched it twice: man, you have won, you are a sucess...I do thank you for your love, your kindness and your respect. Thanks for the ride!
Un grand Merci pour toutes ces belles chansons si bien jouées et chantées !
Respect. de France !
I can relate you brother. Larry has spirit of humanity by his music..
From someone who studied classical guitar , taught guitar professionally and worked hard at it ,you are incredible.
r i p larry thanks for all the music
First, it's nice to know I'm not alone in how I ticked as a young man and today.
Second, I have played and sang for 30 years and it wasn't until I discovered your videos that I put my stuff on social media so my friends could experience that side of me. People I've known my whole life have told me they never even knew I played music. It's been very gratifying and has been a great outlet for me. Thanks for the inspiration!
You are leaving messages to the wrong person.
All I can say is you have talent and you were sent here to do that i was born in 58 an I have the voice to sing most any song but guitar skill weak but cause of your videos I am working on it thanks my friend 😉
You're such a genuine soul and a helluva classy guy, Larry. I'm glad to have found your channel.
Larry i love your music what a great person you are what a friend you would be if you lived in England.
Phil PrH
Larry I have just watched this video and I have to say it just demonstrates your passion for music and most importantly your guitar playing.
'Louie Louie' is the first song THAT I learned to play on guitar! Was a pleasure listening to this!
Just like your clarinet teacher inspired you, you have inspired others.... your a fantastic human!
I picked up playing guitar at 58. (4 years ago) And I love it. Anyone can play at any age. I plan on taking lessons but for now I'm happy camper.
Tremendously successful? >10,000 people have watched you just talking. You've connected in a major way to a lot of people who just LOVE music and the songs you celebrate. That's success in my book.
Nearly 40,000 meanwhile 😲!
Really enjoy your music and appreciate the effort and honesty that you put out there. Many thanks to you and best wishes from Calgary.
Larry your music matters a lot to me, I enjoy listening to it and understand the lyrics better. Gracias amigo

No larry, thnank you for sharing prt of your life with all of us who love this kind of music you play, you're so talented and above all you're a great and lovely human being..thnks a lot for all your videos which inspire me to keep playing this beautiful instrument called guitar...don't ever stop ok.you've got a new fan from Mexico city...Hats off larry...!!!
Never stop! NEVER stop!
Larry, You're my You Tube musical inspiration.
RIP Larry L.
This is beautiful, Larry. Thanks so much for sharing.
I just discovered your channel and loved listening to this. I Hope you are keeping well👍🏻
Hey Larry I'm still watching you God bless you, thank you ❤ hope t0 see you on the other side ❤
Thanks Larry. You are a great musician and a fine human being. I can relate to your story as I had some similar influences in my life. Be well.
Man, good video.
Don't ever stop.
Thank you for opening up your heart to us and for your beautiful music. God bless you!
Larry, thank you for sharing. It makes listening to your music so much the better.
Luis
-Kyle D.

RIP Larry.❤
This came up today. I noticed it's 7 years old but I really enjoyed hearing your story! ❤️
Lary,
You are an extraordinary musician.
Pierre.
Oops, misspelled your name, sorry.
Don't cry baby , your.great , now you have me in tears ,just be happy keep smiling we love you,🌹❤️❤️❤️
Larry you are a very very good musician and singer ! Thank you for your posting and sharing your talent with us . R.I.P.
Larry,
I love your Reflections recording, just beautiful.
Tony.
