I ask moms to feel my scalp when I can’t tell if it’s dry. Then I finesse a scalp massage and oil up 🤷🏽♂️🤣
A B 😂😂😂😂😂

🤣🤣
Lol I wish I had a mom like that
🤣🤣thts smart ima try dis
I use coconut and Jamaican black castor oil mixed with mineral water in a spray bottle, and it makes my scalp feel so good ❤ 2 years locced , you got a new subbie
Is Mineral Water A Good Alternative To Rosewater? Bc I See Alot Of Different Mineral Water Brands.
@@xXDiamondDustXx to me it is, gives my hair more shine
Jasmine Ward 💪🏽💪🏽
quick question: do you rinse out the oils after a while or do you leave it in ?
Raed Brahem im pretty sure u leave it in
I just started using wild growth hair oil on my locs, bread and eyebrows 3 days ago. Don't use a lot. My locs and beard looked gray after using it but it didn't take long for it to go back into my natural hair color. It left a nice shine to it. Everyone talks about how bad it seems but I actually didn't think the smell was bad at all. I liked it.
it smells amazing
@@nature_fiend777 that shit don’t smell good fam be fr
@@Boon-lt1id lmfao
I used this on my starter locs but I mixed it half an half with water in a spray bottle . I sprayed my hair daily not too much but lightly an it helped my locs lock up .
It acutually locs quicker ?
Even tho that Wild Growth Oil be STANKIN', it still works for me to this day!
Yea dat shit stank
I’ve been using it three weeks and shit getting extra thick
Just started using that wild growth junk stank!!
@@icebergslim2292 wym
I use the yellow bottle one and tbh too much is a strong smell but it ain’t smell to bad no lie
I love your channel! The small youtubers with dope content doesn’t get the credit WE deserve! I love your locs twin!💕
Puzzle Fit I truly appreciate that!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
I use the yellow bottle . Love it on my hair
Wow bro you do the same exact thing as me..... I’m telling you bro you gotta start interviewing your subscribers with their Loc journey!!!!!!! I wouldn’t mind being your first guest !!!!!!!😁

Drop y’all questions below and I will make a video giving my thought.
Hey man just started my dreads last week is it okay to apply oil to my starter locs
Love this video!!! I use the same oil so I’m glad It’s a good oil to use
🤙🏾always best to USE WHAT WORKS for you. Recently I found out that the shampoo & conditioner I'm using DOES NOT require me to oil anything...no cap. Review coming soon, but I'm slept on lol
Being consistent is hard lmao I was just saying that in my last video too 😂 good luck to ya man
Do you cover your hair every time during the shower?
Everything this man saying is facts💯
Thank u for this video because I had that habit every time it itched or felt dry I was oiling it into until one day I saw a little build up so I stopped
Thank you dude.
I have this challenge with thinking my scalp is dry when in all actuality it's not....I'm just hot and sweating.
I NEEDED THIS VIDEOOOOOO
He answered all my questions because my head would itch when it’s hot and I thought something was wrong, but this video cleared everything
I use it and I follow the instructions on the bottle. The creators of the product know more than anyone so I listen to there recommend usage.
I use cantu and pink moisturizer everyday and shampoo my dreads weekly. I went to the saloon for the first time and they hated my 2 year free form dreads. They said my hair was super dry damaged maybe needed to cut it. They did a vinegar detox deep conditioner and retwisted and brought my hair back to life. They sold me that oil I just used it for first time. I’m really new to how to take care of my dreads.
Cantù has alcohol in it and it dries your hair out so that’s probably part of the problem
Yo I literally went through the heat itch today. Almost put some oil in but ended up in the car with the AC on. Itch went away immediately lol
Yes! Keep the videos coming! Good info.😊
U will never no how long I’ve bin needed this video smh
Me too
Was just thinking of this today after piling mines a few days ago, right on time
thanks for the tips in this video, much appreciated.

Great video bro, very accurate as well! Keep up the hard work! 👊🏾🔥 Actually dropping a vid on this topic next week! Color grading is on point as well 💪🏾🙌🏾!
G. Miguel I appreciate that fam! 💪🏾
Anytime man! Keep grinding bro! 👊🏾🔥
I just got starter locs today and bought that oil (I love it, been using for years) I think im the only one that loves that natural smell 🤷🏾♀️
Did you or anyone oil yall scalp the first day???
Ik I’m kinda late but if someone did ur locs I don’t think ur supposed to oil it cuz when they do it they add oil themselves so I’m not to sure you’re supposed to apply your own
That’s all I use ..It’s helped ,y pics so much
You are an inspiration
Just started my second set , had the first set for almost four years, I’m horrible at oiling my hair 😩😩
AuNaturale2012 just get into a good rhythm this time around. You can do it!
Mr Tae Love I shall try 🥴
Do you have mist spray to moisturizer 🧴 your locs
I appreciate the knowledge ✊🏾
Ey man. I love how your hair falls. Can u tell me what kind of sectioning ya got? Thanks thanks!
How do you make your head smell good? I have a very active job and two days after a wash and retwist I can smell my scalp and I’m not koo with that! I oil it to mask the smell but I don’t wanna oil tooo much
Dry shampoos or fragranced oils. Only a little bit!
I use Jamaican Mango Lime sproil, it keeps my scalp shining and itch free and it has a very pleasant scent. Now thats the only Jamaican Mango Lime product I would use, I wouldn’t use anything else.
@Ashlee peppermint oil is good at covering smell
Rinse a few times a week shampoo weekly
My hair super itchy rn bro make me wanna cry
I’m going to start using it again 💯
That intro 🔥
I used some of dat before it was like orange or yellow wateva Color it was it use to get everywhere and stain stuff
Would you recommend this if you’re a football player? My son plays college football but his hair always looks dry and brittle. Trying to find a moisturizer for him
I play basketball and stopped using the oil while playing sports because its thick and when I sweat it gets in my eyes and gives me acne
i,like your locs video God bless 🙌 🙏 you too
I use all natural hair growth oil
I love the advice bro thanks for the tip.
Michael Andrews no problem! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I just started mines with 2strand twist it’s been a month they want stay loc I wanna give up
Locs take time, continue being patient. Mine did not start to loc until my 3 or 4 month and it was just budding at that point I was full loved by my 6 or 7th month. Just be patient and enjoy the process.
Mines is budding a lil thanks for the tip
Sariyah and mommy’s world M keep at it. As Mr Tae Love said it takes times. Make sure to keep it wrapped at night with a silk scarf or bonnet. Keep at it and stay loc’d. It will be highs and lows but the wait and outcome once it is loc’d is well worth it.
_KingDynasty yea see I don’t even wrap it 🤦🏾♀️ but I will after the retwist
Sariyah and mommy’s world M do that so it stays intact and last longer and eliminate as much frizz as possible. Always maintain them as long as possible and stretch the retwist you just got. That way you can also take tension off your roots/scalp. The locking process does take some time, but the budding means that your locs are maturing and coming into to form. Stay loc’d it’s a beautiful process trust me.
I use batana oil, coconut and grapeseed
Great tips
That means I probably oil too much. A loctician told me to oil my hair every day or every other day.
I also have psoriasis.
Watched the rest of the video. You basically said gauge the dryness of the hair. That sounds reasonable.
Brian Walters yea I use to over use oil and that would make my head itch like crazy
I oil my scalp every other day,so tomorrow I'll oil up again
To much oil will will make your loc process long if you doing it when you get your roots twisted because they real unravel
Good vid bro
Ok,Bro,thank you Bro
I took my socks off. changed my life. no more itchy scalp!! lmfao.
I just started using this .. well I got the bottle
I stay use this oil 💯💯💯💯
Thank you rasta👍
I use the same oil
How do you make the irritation from over greasing go way?
Detroyt313 I would use grease. But I would suggest using less product
@@MrTaeLove so use the same? because i oiled my hair with too much olive oil so do i just use a different oil?
Is it ok to use rose water with the oil? Will the rose water mess up the retwist?
It’s okay to use rose water but just make sure if you do have a retwist to not soak your Locs with it. Anything wet ruin your fresh twist
I use that too it works👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Do you wash your hair after oiling it
Is it ok to oil between washes and retwist..if so do I need to dampen before oiling
Nooo do it after retiwst is done
good advice lmao
where did you get it?
How often do you wash your locs
Now I do around 1 to 2 months
Never Apply OIL ON A DRY SCALP...OIL SEALS IN MOISTURE...ROSEWATER & than OIL....
Yea rose water drys my hair out i oils once after I retwist then that’s it. Pretty much don’t use much of any products
Do I have to go to a loctician to start my locs ?
My wife started mine, I didn’t go to a loctician until I was one year in
Oil your scalp once or twice a week. Save your 7 minute, go invest in some stocks or supmn...
Dan Gaawgan how is that working out for you? Have you found success from it? 🤔
Dan Gaawgan good, I run a solid business. Not focused on stocks at the moment
@@MrTaeLove sorry if I was rude man, I was in a different space at that time. Hope all goes well with you and your channel. Peace.
Have you tried out the yellow one?
Marcus I did and it irritated my scalp but my wife had this one and I tried it and fell in love
Mr Tae Love so they aren’t the same?
@@MrTaeLove it irritated my scalp too
@@marcuspolk1197 yellow is for moisturizing and white is for hair growth
That’s not the right way to apply it but I’m not saying you can’t apply it that way
lock dread fast bro
7 year lock journey... started using wild growth 6 months ago and my whole crown fell out
I’m sorry that happened to you. Does balding run in your family?
Mr Tae Love not at all bro , no medical conditions whatsoever... the wild growth started scabbing my crown so I washed my head and the crown was thinned out
Shaw music The real Shaw wow it did the opposite for me and made my roots thicker
Mr Tae Love that’s how it started for me but blessings to you bra
Aye I use that African herbal oil is that str8 to use?
OGUT KANO if it works for you most def. As long as you are keeping your Locs washed and maintained use what’s best for you.
I don't oil my locs I just let them be
Your hair must look like straight up shiiiiiiddddd! Lol
adudefromharlem2011 my sister doesn’t use any products either. She has sister Locs tho so those are maintained a little different
@@MrTaeLove Sorry bro I don't believe that at all. You have to keep your scalp healthy especially with sister locks because if you don't those little things would dry up and break off like crazy. If you don't use some type of oil on your scalp and locks your hair would be dry and dandruff would build up etc. Natural oils or pure aloe n distilled water are the best products you can use in locks. I don't see someone not using anything and having a healthy shiny set of locks and healthy scalp.
New Jersey when did you meet my sister? 🤔
@@MrTaeLove if I had to judge by the way you say she takes care of her locks what man would want to Lmao! The game is on dude eat a Snickers and enjoy yourself little man✌️
