I’m 10 years Loc’d. I take very good care of my hair, keeping it clean, drinking water and slowing down on juice/soda. I had them done last week on Thursday in two strand twists, but a day or two after getting them done, I wore a satin bonnet to protect my style and from lint etc, but it makes my head itch for some weird reason, even though my scalp was already oiled when I got my hair done, so I recently oiled my hair and scalp…it toned down a little tbh but it was redness in some areas.
Sounds like whatever oil you’re using, your scalp doesn’t agree. I had the same problem. The redness is from your scratching and the itchiness is from the oil irritating your scalp.
@@NiqGodessEnergy I may have to use a different oil that doesn't irritate my scalp, basically trial and error to see what works and what doesn't, thank you ma'm I appreciate your reply.
