I clicked on here to see an LA studio and those exposed brick walls drew me in. Lovey studio. I'm abroad now but have always wanted to live in southern or mid-coast CA.
Such a cute apt. The half walls are called “pony” walls. I would def remove your fabric bags near the stove when using the stove or oven. Ramp up your cute bar cart with some peel and stick wallpaper on the white area of the shelves. If you need more bathroom counter space, an inexpensive plastic cutting board or tray from the dollar store would be a perfect prep surface over the sink. Just store it underneath in your cabinet when you’re done.
I'm definitely stealing your idea about using a chopping board as extra surface area over the sink. I'd never thought of that - instead, I've often put things inside the sink when getting ready!
Love your studio apartment. I lived in one recently - my first time in a studio - & I just loved it. I love the egg chair too!! I wanted to suggest - if you have enough room - put a skinny cabinet next to your bathroom sink. I was able to put one that was less than 12" wide in my studio apartment bathroom & it was almost flush with my sink in height. It was so nice to have a place to sit items when doing my hair & applying makeup, etc.
apartments are so difficult to get into! my parents have to cosign for me bc i never make the 3x rent requirement as a teacher😵💫 but your apartment is beautiful!!!
