This was a last minute as usual upload. Not much time to prepare but, I think this provides a pretty accurate sound demo as I did NOT use my effects which I am probably known for using or over using depending on the ears and type listener. lol I know it can be dry to me to not have much color to the tone but, this amp is a shiner. The only way I can describe it is Feel, Punch and creamy tones. Like a nice warm tube amp?
I'm not experienced enough to tell you if this is as good as or good enough or etc. To me, it's how the listener and player feels listening and playing it. I try to give that feel here. Had I gone direct , I would have had the focusrite compressor preamp clean or not in the mix that cannot be pulled out. so this also made it easy for me to plug and play ..
I tried to keep the playing simple and clean but I am also not good with just playing to play. I usually need a sound to inspire me or look for an inspiring backing and solo over. hahaha So this was not too much about playing. Thanks all for your time watching.
If I am able to keep this amp I have some ideas that I think using pedals and getting g pickup comparisons would serve as a great clean tube amp for just that. Nu tube or not. It's a clean well voiced amp in my experience so far. There is that point I say "Awe that's the stuff". That is the part I like ....heheh Peace to you all And stay you. Roo says Hi!!! I will explain what Robert didn't. This is a Hybrid amp tube/solid state. Tubes are for the tremolo and reverb, the rest is solid state. Nice amp. Sounds great.
Hey thank you. I meant to tack this in the comments so I will do that. I appreciate it. I wasn't sure but I went by this quote "The Mini Superbeetle head is powered by analog Nutube circuitry, which employs a VFD (vacuum fluorescent display) tube that captures the same sound and response of vacuum tubes without any of the inconsistent elements" found on web but I also read it is reverb and trem fed by the NuTube. I didn't gloss over this in video. Perhaps soon I will. It does have that feel to it ...but I'm no pro. Hahahah. Truly appreciate the help here !!!!
I also hope to try the me80 in front of it. See how it fares ? I heard it takes pedals well. Have you tried it ? Any input on your experience is truly welcome !!! I think it's a perfect practice amp and maybe even blues amp for small venue with the right cab!? Def a keeper !!! Heheh Peace friend !!!! Again , THANK you !!

@@davidkastin4240Awe man !!! Yes indeed. If I had a choice of the two it would be the one you went with. I heard it in so many reviews. It is similar voiced to a fender blues amp I think? The price is awesome on those too. It's in my buy soon as I can lists. Hahahah. So cool !!!! Thanks !!!
Nutubes are used for the preamp as well. Solid state Class D power amp.
Sounds pretty cool, it nails a lot of good tones. I like that they didn't overdue it's feature set. It does what it does well instead. Cool vid Robert. :)

@@robertclarkguitar that would be cool, you should see if you can record it into Reaper and get similar results. Although it may not work thinking about it because the output wouldn't have speaker emulation, so it would sound different.

Very cool. I came very close to buying this. Bought the little nutube ones with cabs. The AC & the clean. Great fun & they sound pretty darn good. Great vid Robert.

Thank You. I hope I can use it a good while to utilize the effects through it and try the different types of pickups and guitars through it. I think it's a great starter amp if nothing else for pedals. Insane loud for it's size and punch. Heheh

Do you think it's loud enough to play outside in front of 25/50 people without having to mic up? Drummer is pretty tame.
I was drummer most my life I understand the amp situation and tame vs outrageous lol. I would say yes if more like a jazz and mild drummer should be ok. Remember the amp can get way way louder and push 4ohm at 50 w. So you could use a 4x12 cab and be golf either way! I hope this helps. It is pretty darned loud and punchy as is with stock cab!! At 25w

A nightmare to fix
