    I should have turned them all to 0 or 1 and then cranked each knob slowly. IT IS A GOOD BIT WASHY HERE .. But keep in mind these can be tweaked. I'm really just trying to get the pedals Algorithms to play out as much as I can here. The rest you can dial by mix, decay and x /chaos along with tone ... Many features on this pedal including software updates and tails on off. Thanks for watching !!!

      Thank you my friend. It's a great ambient pedal but can be dialed back way more than I showed for each setting to make decent sculpted tones. Thanks bro!!!

      Thank you my friend. It would make wonderful acoustic sounds I'm sure for added some as you can dial way back the decay and mix. I had too much mix and wash. Hahah.

      It is better than what I got out of it as I over stepped the effects to 50 % or higher. It can sound way less saturated of course. Had a blast. Thanks for watching !!!!

    This sounds really good Rob. I'm glad you got around to checking it out. I will definitely have to put this on my list of things to get in the future. I wasn't sure if it would sound good or not as the reverb in my GE100 sounds a little scratchy when heard through my headphones. This sounds much better than that. I think the X control is the equivalent of Room Size judging by what it does when you adjust it. That smear effect in reverb is one of the main reasons I want to get a hardware reverb pedal. You get that by changing size from what I can tell.

    • @robertclarkguitar

      It's amazing. Dialing all that in and out is plenty of control to tame too!! Thanks for checking it out!!!

    Count me a fan of the sounds you are getting from that A7 Robert! I might abuse that thing in the studio, leaning on it in too many scenarios! lol!!!
    I really feel that it shines brightest with the clean tones, but even when you put some overdrive on there, it still added a nice texture! Great video and I am certainly impressed by this pedal. Keep up the great work my friend and have a blessed rest of your week!!! - Jay

      Thank you brother !!! I know I should have started with lower values and spent more time dialing in each algorithm to where I liked them but I figured half way and up would throw out the vocal ability of the pedal to quickly show each algorithm... I think that worked but it may scare some away thinking too washy. Hahahahaha. Anyway truly appreciate your kind comment and support my talented friend. Hope you and the family are well!!

    Man endless possibilities with that thing. I’m not much for ambiance, more of just a meat and potatoes player so to speak hahaha! However, it's crazy what they can cram into a small box! Nice demo!

    • @robertclarkguitar
      @robertclarkguitar  6 месяцев назад +1

      So true. I could have spent more time as dialed in tones I would use. I tried to run through each one but man they are deep. Lol. Thank you for watching. And I am also more and more getting into cleans with some drive and delay slight verbs but I started off loving the saturated reverbs. Still dig them in certain song types.

    If it just had a spring verb it’d make a killer all in one verb pedal.

      The R7 I believe does and has a similar abundance of lush as well. More for the all arounder type lol. I am hoping to do that one next. Lol and will try to go less on settings rather than start at 50 percent. Lol. Thank you for watching and commenting !!!

    I've heard demos of this pedal before, but it's always amazing how far and big it can go. I like it a lot!
    Also your demo was very good and I appreciate the way you explored the options.
    What's with that keyboard on the background?
    It's too blurry to see clearly, but after some digging I found out it's a CTK-571!
    It looks fancier than my wife's CTK-481 too.
    Do you plan to play it in a video some time?

    • @robertclarkguitar
      @robertclarkguitar  6 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks my friend. Yeah it's one I bought around the time I bought the acoustic you saw a while back. Both cheaper types than what I'm used to but in 2007 it was not too old and decent for the budget fidgeter lol. I recently tried to hook it up as it has midi in and out but it's the old midi IO. The Chinese midi cables my son gave me he used with it for years. I , however have not yet gotten it to work on my PC reaper yet. I don't know how to get it to connect as a device. Too many settings popping up and I must be hitting wrong settings. Lol. So I easily give up. I'll try to get him over one day to set it up. I know it would serve as a nice layer for my music with vst support.

    Interesting. My acoustic guitar has an internal pickup and I’m wondering how this would sound via acoustic vs electric guitar. The ambient possibilities for intrigue me.

    • @robertclarkguitar
      @robertclarkguitar  6 месяцев назад +1

      If you are using it with the pickup as long as the mix on your preamp is up enough especially while recording it surely will work. Live as well if you are amped up well. You may not hear it as well if playing without hearing the effects via monitoring of course. But surely you can. I remember even using a blues driver on mine. It sounded a bit lost but being a reverb it will widen the sound very nicely. My acoustic preamp / EQ Died due to leaked battery over the years. Hahah. Adjusting the pedal as it will have plenty to give you so tweak away. I hope this helps. The good news is they aren't too expensive and they usually sell quickly since reverbs are usually higher price.

      Heck yeah. I need to learn to dial in still. I went nuts with adding all equal values. Separating values is key which I had not tried much but at end a little with the loop. Hahah. Thank you bro!!!
