If you use your entire bar tab and still have sailor loot will the sailor loot cover any additional drinks you consume? Great channel. Going on Virgin first time in Feb out of San Juan.

Actually yes you can. I did, I didn’t buy a bar tab but had sailor loot and they used it.
This is so cool that they do this! I know we get an onboard credit for our Royal cruise next week, but I think it’s like $50.
That’s so exciting! Cruise life is addictive just be warned 🤣 we haven’t cruised with Royal yet so I’m excited to hear what you think of it!
This clarification was extremely useful- going on a 15 day solo Virgin cruise next week & I couldn’t decide whether to purchase the bar tab. Not a huge drinker so this would have been a big waste of money for me - have $100 sailors loot so it’s better for me to use that $$ and just pay for additional drinks. Especially with your explanation that drink “experiences” don’t apply towards bar tab, very confusing.

Once you have exhausted your Bar Tab and you have Sailor Loot your drinks will be taken from this, once that is exhausted it will be charged to your credit card

This is really helpful, thank you! We have our first virgin voyages cruise booked for next year (first ever cruise in fact). The room they've assigned us is deck 14, which I noticed was under the pool deck etc. Was wondering if it would be noisy, do you have any experience with this? Thanks 😊
Hi! Thank you so much! Unfortunately I don’t have any experience having our room near or under the pool deck. You could always try calling Virgin and ask them to move your cabin.

Does sailor loot cover all drinks as well as experiences? Thank you.
Hi There! If you book an experience such as the Grog Walk, a Tequila Tasting or Shot 4 Shot that includes drinks then your sailor loot covers it. If you buy drinks at a bar or in a restaurant then it comes out of your bar tab. Hope that helps! - Kelly
As two people staying in the same cabin, most of the sailor loot/bar tab shows under my name. If hubby uses up his loot will future charges on his wristband start coming out of my loot/tab or start going to the credit card?
Hi! I’m assuming you are the lead sailor in your cabin, so when you do your check in process on the app under “payment method” there will be a question asking if you are responsible for the other sailor in your cabin if you checked “yes” we assume once your hubby uses his loot it will start coming out of your loot/bar tab. I would suggest checking with sailor services once you get on board just to be sure though. Sailor services is on deck 5 mid ship. Have a wonderful cruise!
