Specialty teas are also not included in the cruise fare, so those go on the bar tab. No, the bar tab cannot be used for food or shopping, but any "Sailor Loot" that you have can be used for anything. Sailor Loot can be part of a promo when booking or you get it for referring friends to the same sailing you are on.

Thanks for the comment! Yes, specialty and coffee go on the bar tab. Sailor loot is quite handy for excursions, shops, the spa, etc.

Thank you! The bar tab is limited to paying just for drinks. I don't think it will work for food.

Buyer Beware!! I have a cruise booked on RCL which is over 500 days away. I booked, non-refundable, for $900. I just tried to cancel the cruise, because of immigration issues which were not foreseeable and out of my control. RCL refuses to even give me a partial refund

Is the Bar Tab PER PERSON or Per Cabin ???

It's assigned to one person but you can link people together in the same cabin at sailor services on board so either person can use it
