Those Falcons were ex monte carlo rally 1964 examples that had been prepared and run by Alan Mann.
They were incredibly modified with fibreglass panels to lighten them.
Frank Gardner was running a 1967 Cortina MK2 while waiting for the new Escort Twin cam to be homologated .

There's some eye-watering metal on display there. As a former Imp owner I allowed myself a quiet chuckle at them mixing it with that lot. Then (having an Enquiring Mind) I found out what happened a few years later. I will never laugh at an Imp again. Not even the one I owned...

Very eclectic grid - Falcons, Anglias, Cortinas, Escorts, and that's just the Fords. Hillman Imps, Chevy Camaros, and Vic Elford in a Porsche 911.
When was the last time you saw a Porsche on a BTCC grid?
