    WHO AM I?
Hello friends, my name is Femke! I am a nineteen year old reader from Belgium who really loves to talk about books. My first language is Dutch, but I highly prefer to read English literature. I am a second year university student in Antwerp and study English, theatre, film and literature. My goal for this channel is to create a safe space for all kinds of readers to talk about what we love most! So I hope you will enjoy my bookish rambles (preferably with a cup of tea and some cozy candles in the background).

⚠⚠SPOILER ALERT⚠⚠ Persuasion is my favorite Jane Austen and Mansfiled Park could be my least favorite. I usually enjoy "slow" books but dear Fanny almost ruined if for me. I wanted to shake her sometimes lol. Have some ba* and tell that horrible aunt Norris to shut up And this "forced" love for Edmund didn't help. Although i know it was a "normal" thing back then, "watching" them fall in love was a little bit uncomfortable for me.

I completely understand! Event though I really enjoyed reading about Fanny, it did get quite frustrating at times to watch her let people treat her badly without defending herself.
