I watched this thinking about now and then (when the talk was done) and reading about how so many have moved away from real stores and malls. Maybe what he speaks of will help save their businesses, because they are going to have to change how they do business.
I understand what he says about leadership is to blame for a lot of failures, but isn't part of the problem too many non-leaders are leading? Like accountantns and mbas that have no people skills?
Cristal clair yes how many leaders in emerging countries and markets are so pleased to talk about their perfect strategy and when you see them one year later you ask them about it , they would complain that unfortunately they don’t have the right people to implement it and they are se rounded with lousy people they don’t admit that is their job to get through with the team
Imagine the whole world is locked down - Imagine half the world loses their jobs - imagine a global threat where people had to contemplate between people living or dying with people making money or not
Watching this I couldn't help think about choices people are making now during this virus, crazy kids ignoring the warnings. Yeah off topic, but maybe it isnt.
He's a good speaker and we need ideas like this as we come out from under COVID.
So true yes we do..
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Its a great talk, and meant for this time too
Both highly articulate and profound. Very much enjoyed this talk.
I did too.
@@brandyocraveiro 😸 😸 😸 😸
great talk!!!
Brilliant! it really is.
finally clicked the link Luis, thanks
I wonder how much CEO's are as fearful as the rest of us right now?
yes how true...
Apologies for sound quality and thanks for positive feedback and comments - keep safe
thank you Robin lovely talk.
still a good subject, and only took a bit to adjust the ears. Well delivered sir...
Hope some business leaders watch this, they could learn the 3 strategies and actually learn to get people excited.
Many need to, putting their lowest paid staff to work these days without protection while they collect huge profits.
@@lizyvuen yes they will, they are greedy.
I wasn't going to watch this, saw the link for 2 weeks now. But I am glad I did. It is a shame the audio is off a bit.
Yeah, its good but hard to hear, still worth it though
thanks Katia, sorry about the audio
@@BridgesSingapore not your fault, I hope the organizers took note.
Very timely!
You can see here where experience has paid dividends in knowledge. Like others have stated sound quality is bad, makes up for it in content.
thank you, Geoff for the kind comment on content. Implementation is my passion and I am glad it came across
Good talk I finally clicked your link thanks.
good share my friend
its a good talk.
@@annmerrychristmas Thanks Ann
True, how many great ideas died with the person because no-one put them into play!
This is good, worth watching.
How true, how much do we talk about it instead of doing it.
um - all the time?
action has always been the 1st missing ingredient in any failure.
I watched this thinking about now and then (when the talk was done) and reading about how so many have moved away from real stores and malls. Maybe what he speaks of will help save their businesses, because they are going to have to change how they do business.
Yes agree with others, the people who recorded this need to do better, sound isnt good at all, and talk is really good.
Interesting talk, I wish the audio was better.
thanks for share, you are right good talk bad sound
me too, but his points are solid.
thanks for sending me here Jane
@@geoffdeeprose9469 yes true

Yeah audio is off a bit, so I watched a 2nd time. Content is awesome!!
I didn't find the audio that bad, great talk on something all of us in business need to focus on.
Worth listening to, good advice!!!
How true, good talk.
agree 100%
thanks Valerie
2nd time watching, some really good stuff here.
95% dont know their companies strategy, I think the issue is the company doesnt really care what their employees know...
I hope thats changing.
I understand what he says about leadership is to blame for a lot of failures, but isn't part of the problem too many non-leaders are leading? Like accountantns and mbas that have no people skills?
Good point Sammy, and thanks fort sharing this link...
This Sammy is not something I have seen as a major issue. More often its poor leadership from the top
my girl is awesome!
"Strategy life cycles are getting shorter and shorter" I wonder if he could have forseen last year how true that is now?
I am thinking the same thing.
I get that too.
Was thinking same thing.
very true right now.
Cristal clair yes how many leaders in emerging countries and markets are so pleased to talk about their perfect strategy and when you see them one year later you ask them about it , they would complain that unfortunately they don’t have the right people to implement it and they are se rounded

I think Strategy will be the new/old buzzword as we get closer to the end of this pandemic.
true
it will be for sure.
good point.
Smart talk!!

so, yes I can but why would I?
How true, customer service so bad these days. That's why I buy online.

But, how have things changed? Is this all still true? What is failure rate now?
An announcement made me come here ;-;
Me too
Bridges, oh boy are we needing bridges now!!!
thanks Ann
Ive seen him before? Where?
SO? Whats the strategy now?
No-one gathers now, Imagine?
The Mars story was amazing, makes so much sense.
Well, I wonder how much planning business leaders are doing now? Will business ever be the same again?
How true is that!
Watching this I couldn't help think about choices people are making now during this virus, crazy kids ignoring the warnings. Yeah off topic, but maybe it isnt.
I understand this, I get you, not off topic..
