A great report! I only started to subscribe to your channel recently. I find your reviews very professional, well filmed and edited, high quality resolution and informative and simple. Your presentations are a delight to watch and you, as a presenter, make the review the star rather than making it all about you. A lot of other reviewers could learn a thing or two from you! Keep up the great work! On another note, I have been considering flying FINNAIR to Europe from Sydney for my next trip. It means a little longer via Helsinki but I think it will be worth it and probably even warrants a stop over in Helsinki itself. The more I see about their business class the more impressed I am. Thanks again!

Firstly, thank you and welcome! Your kind words mean so much more than you realise. Trying to work out how to film, create, present, edit and RUclips is all new and it’s a lot harder than I ever imagined. Thankfully though, I’m happiest sitting in a window seat above the clouds, and I love sharing that. So again, thank you.
Finnair is a quality consideration and if you’re looking for reward flights there’s some really good Finnair availability out of Asia right now with Qantas. I’ve been looking at flights myself so I can explore further. Good luck with your trip, come back and let us know how it went!

Thanks for the report, loved the editing! I like the new seat a lot, feels like a safe cocoon, the sound absorbing materials make the cabin very quiet. But yes, I fully understand why some passengers miss the recline option.
On the HKG flights, normally all cabin crew is based in Hong Kong, they have a similar consept on the daily service to SIN. Personally I'm very happy Finnair use their widebodies (all have the new cabins) on short hauls too, typically 2x daily to LHR and also to AMS and MUC this summer season.

The A350 is a beautiful Aircraft to have this product on. It feels like the Airlounge is perfectly made for it. Widebodies on short haul routes are always my favourite to fly, and my long legs agree! Thanks for watching and sharing your expertise! Shane

I enjoyed watching your video… been to Helsinki airport many times, but never noticed it is as beautiful as in your video. So an easy subscriber))) PS when you return to Helsinki, check out the sauna in the platinum wing as well. Not quite the old one (choice of 3 different saunas, a plunge pool and, as a compliment, a view of a tarmac, but still a unique product, especially for a lengthy layover

Nitpick 10:18 the Italian cheese is "mascarpone" (mas-car-po-ne), it sounded as if you pronounced it as "marscapone" (mars-ca-po-ne), swapping a few letters around. It's a common misspelling/mispronounciation.

Excellent and fair review, I enjoyed it. Finnair might be suffering from style over substance. For me the whole point of long haul business class is a comfortable bed which seems to be their weak point. Good luck with your channel, looking forward to new reviews.

For me the biggest advantage of this seat is the wide bed you get. The weak point is the mattress topper, which is too thin and moves around, but shouldn’t be too hard to fix either.

How has it not gone well? Finnair made a profit last year even in their tough situation, their load factors are okay and they are able to have a modern, fairly competitive seat which weighs much less than a traditional seat. Of course it won’t be everyones cup of tea, but for Finnair it doesn’t feel like it has gone badly at all.
