They are gladiators of a sort. Musically. What a triumphant march to stage. Such bravado and exuberance. Through the crowds, of and for the people. Does this song justice.

When champion gladiators were brought to the Colosseum, they were accompanied by jugglers, musicians, fire-breathers, caged animals, and acrobats. It was VERY much the earliest version of a circus parade.

Try for a moment to remove the association of this song with clowns from your mind and actually envision this song playing while gladiators are entering a stadium to fight to the death. The way the music at the beginning builds the anticipation, the marching rhythm of the main tune while gladiators parade into position, then some solemnity followed by a swelling finish that leaves the crowd ready for the days gruesome festivities

The music that he play on the violin is sleek and mild. His performance soften and is the dreamy melody.

The Roman gladiators used to fight in the circus Maximus, the world's greatest stage at the time, who was a giant messed up circus whee people fought to death and had various forms of entertainment joker style.
This is a perfect theme for such a place.
ALUCARD Fladiators did not typically fight in a circus Maximus, chariot racing occurred there.
First of all - it’s not a song but a piece.
Second, the modern world mismatched Fucik’s “Entry of the gladiators” to a clown theme.
So on that note, Get cultured!
ALUCARD that has no connection to that piece.
The guy who composed it is Czech. He wrote this and manny other marches for the military or for weddings and such.
