This is a very nice MOC, could easily pass as official. Haven't even bought my 1st Boutique Hotel yet but now I'll have to get 2! This is a must-build!
This building gives me incredible Paris vibes (not necessarily Parisian Restaurant, just general Parisian building vibes).
Honestly, that might be one of the best rebrickable Modular Building model so far, on par with the official sets. At least to me.
This is actually Naturalist architecture, an Architectural style that started to be popular in Barcelona by the Architect Antoni Gaudí.
@@TheAnimatorOfOpallyon that's actually good to know! Thanks!
Haha and its perfectly fitting that's it's called naturalist for this Lego set given the use of the flesh colour 😅
the shape is the same as the parisian restaurant? :D Cafe in Front, stairs right? hmm
*The Naturalist Architectural style on this building is spectacular. Really looks like something that you would find in Catalonia.*
The boutique hotel itself looks like a building straight from Catalonia too. I miss Spain!
Amazing MOC, very detailed, and fire video!!!!!!!!
I'd love to see this one next to the official boutique hotel, to see if they line up well together
That was my first thought as well!
This reminds me of the Parisian restaurant modular building
Wow, such a great re moc of the Boutique Hotel! It looks really well done! Great job LEGO Artisan!
This looks great love it looks better then actually set
Definitely a sweet build!
I love the architecture in this building !
I really like this build! I was not at all taken with the Boutique Hotel modular but now I am reconsidering after seeing these plans by Lego Artisan.
Beautiful!
I can’t wait to build it myself!
The candle sticks are an awesome building trick! Great review!
It looks great! I'm considering doing an alt soon but I don't think this will be it because with it being based on the Parisian Restaurant I'd like something more unique even though this is amazing.
Might look good in the the residential area of the Lego City. Just to sort of break up the dynamic in the downtown core. Maybe place it across from the beach as a tourist pit stop? The building looks great! Looking forward to the next city update
This is a beautiful build. You are giving me some great ideas fir my modulars. Thanks
I did my first ever lego build last week and I loved it. It was the friends central perk. Trying to find a new set that is large enough to take up my time but of course not too expensive. Any fun builds you would recommend that are sub $60? Seems like the friends set is one of the better “bang for your buck” deals.
Thank you for the video. This MOC is not as impressive as other MOC's because they took a very fancy Boutique Hotel, and turned it into the Parisian Restaurant. Including the seating, column, roof line, and the second floor patio in the back, with the back stair case to the third floor. The doors on the back are even in the same general place as in the Parisian Restaurant.
Also the front of the roof the third floor is built using the same technique as the front of the third floor roof of the Parisian Restaurant. The front of the third floor roof comes off all in one piece, and fits around the third floor windows.
Especially with 800 left over pieces. I don't think for the $199 price, this build is worth it. Since it looks a lot like the Parisian Restaurant.
If you are bored with your Boutique Hotel, then sure, you can part it out and build this. Just don't put it next to the Parisian Restaurant.
The Boutique Hotel and the Parisian Restaurant both stand on their own as very nice models.
Bingo!
exactly what I thought!
Thanks for adding the closed caption I requested. This is an interesting MOC with some nice interior details. I noticed A few color mismatches that could be easily corrected with a few additional pieces.
Reminds me Parisian restaurant. I love it!!
Beautiful building
I also made this and just absolutely love it
You should add a transparent yellow stud to put in the middle of the spotlight and see if it looks even better!
This looks so good
awesome video jordan the cafe looks amazing i cant wait to see it in the lego city
How does it look when you place it beside the Boutique Hotel?
Going to get another boutique hotel now!😂🙌🏻
thank you so much 😊
Love the build. Awesome design!
This one is so cool. I might have to get another boutique hotel and build this. Another one that I have been eyeing is the daily press (made from a police station). Great video.
Thanks for making a video of this wonderful alternative MOC. I am often tempted to buy a 2nd copy of modulars to see what could be built - I am inspired to try this out! ☺️ Buy chance I have two Parisian Restaurant modulars so I guess I have to visit Rebrickable to see if someone did an alt-build of that beautiful set!
Lego artisan is knocking it out of the park.
This is screaming Parisian restaurant
Love this modular! Would look kind of funny if you placed it and the boutique hotel next to each other. I was finally able to join the live and finish it! Anyways, love the new content!
Showed my wife your video on the Boutique Hotel, next thing I know she had me order the Police Station, Home Alone House and the Bookshop. You have created a monster. She is waiting for Assembly Square to be back in Stock.
Sorry not sorry 😆
@@Bricksie That makes 2 of us.
It’s a good looking building and would be a great addition to a LEGO city if you don’t already have Parisian Restaurant and don’t like the original Boutique Hotel design.
But in my opinion, too similar in design to Parisian Restaurant and color locked the same as Boutique Hotel, by virtue of it being a rebrickable model.
I’d rather see an extra middle floor to standard Boutique Hotel.
This looks great. Might buy another hotel just to do this one.
Pretty neat modular !! I wish they do paper instructions, unfortunately the internet isn't good to be on now a days. Great video Jordan. Take care !!
that is a way better modular than the Jazz Club to be honest xD
What did Lego do this year? I mean its nice overall, but look how much interesting techniques this MOC is using, how interesting the exterior looks, how much details and life the interior has?!
Great moc!
It's just the Parisian Restaurant with different colours lol.
Hey Jordan! Are you using a combination of the new 2021 road plates and also the old road base plates?
Currently using the old plates, but plan on making the switch this year.
@@Bricksie awesome!! Will you use both? Or just discard the old ones?
Very nice
this reminds me of Parisian Restaurant, I think if you don't have it nor are familiar with that great modular this will work as a cheaper alternative.
I think this rebrickable model is better than the original set which is high praise for LEGO artisan
Oh this came out really well - and I’m some ways gives the Boutique a run for it’s money
If you told me this was the modular building of 2022 I wouldn't even question you
This could look amazing next to the hotel itself!
Very parisean restuarant vibes from this. Would love to see how this looks placed next to the hotel, if it looks like a natural extension of the building
Using almost 90% of the included pieces is pretty impressive for an alternate build!
Thank you for doing so many Rebrickable builds! I’m adding a few to my city. My city thanks you, but my wallet isn’t thrilled… 😂
Imma gonna get 2. One on 28th of jan for the taxi, saving the other for another promo
Parisan restaurant 2.0
Great MOC! But Bricksie, please press down the bricks when building! It's giving all kinds of itches when i see bricks that are not sitting right!
Im also a bit more excited for this alternate than the official hotel.
I love it🤩🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰
I'm wondering how it looks like next to the Parisian Restaurant, with one of the two mirrored.
That looks so cool!! How many hours did u total spend to build the alternate?:)
I think it took about 7 hours
Wanted to see it placed in this video.
Stay tuned!
It looks great, just a shame there are so many pieces leftover. I think if I was going to get 2 boutique hotels I would build them next to each other as mirror image and have one large hotel.
Looks the same as the Parisian restaurant
Where did the "El Cubo" sign come from?
It's from the Boutique Hotel
🤗👍🤌it's nice.
I you's a stud or flats rounded tile part on the door so helps to open the door
7th
Looks like the Parisian Restaurant
Espresso @brickise, not expresso, grazie :D But thank you for the overview!
Great video!
Epic Set!
It's an alternate build lol
Love ur videos
Put this next to the boutique hotel in the lego city
A clone of the Parisian restaurant ( Chezbert )
have you considered interviewing lego-artisan?
Hello thanks for this fabulous video. Can I ask if you do private work.
What do you mean exactly?
@@Bricksie do you use studio 2.00
Hi
Its literily the parisian restaurant
There was a hair on the back door and I keep trying to blow it off through my phone:)
they serve moldy croissants
too many similarities with the boutique hotel imo
This is like worse version of parisian restaurant
When life gives you Lego ya know what to do
You make Lego-nade? 😂
