Hey my baby loves!! I love and miss you guys so much, I'm writing this on May 6, 2019. So I'm just going to cut to the chase and confront the elephant in the room and say what I have to say and be done with it.....
When I use the term NAPPY, I'm not being rude, disrespectful, degrading, anti-natural, any thing of the sort. I'm in love with my beautiful natural hair including my coils, kinks, curls, and naps. When my hair gets dry and shrinks up its nappy yall, not that easy to mange, got little tangles, all that; and yall know exactly what I'm talking about because it happens to YOU as well !!! But babyyyy let me wet my hair real quick and I don't know how to act; curls be bouncing, hair looking lovely, and much easier to run my comb through since its wet. So when I saying NAPPY I'M NOT saying straight hair is better than MY BEAUTIFUL CURLS. But yea I felt like this needed to be explained a little and I might make a video explaining further in detail what I mean but I hope you all understand what I mean...

A tip for the future is never to oil before flat ironing, it increases risk of heat damage because oil traps heat on the hair shaft rather than protect it from heat. Better to oil after the hair cools and it aids with frizz. You ever notice how long oil stays warm after heating it? So even after removing the flat iron your hair will still be exposed to heat
I usually don't put my flat iron on a high heat so when I flat iron my hair it doesn't keep heat. I do understand what you mean though about not putting oil on the hair. Thats like using heat protective your hair stays warm after using it.
A Day with Paris ! You can use certain oils. Some oils aid in protecting against heat such as jbco. But another tip so it isn't stiff don't use oil or any leave ins in your hair. Only use the heat protectant.
I normally put extra virgin olive oil in my hair the night before i straighten so😂 looks like I'm getting heat damage. Olive oil was always what my mama used in my hair so I really didn't know about that

Just a tip: if u decide to straighten again, skip the oils before blow drying. Your hair would've had so much flow instead of being weighed down.
The oils & deep conditioner is great as a pre-poo step before washing & using a very lightweight leave-in will be great 💖
Thank you hun ! I know that using oil before isn't always good but my hair needed to get a good oil or it would've been dry, I also need a good trim as well.

I'm looking into doing full ayurvedic care, like tea rinses to reduce shedding, growth oil made by Curly Proverbz that I'll make myself with a twist, and some ayurvedic shipped Shea butter to lock in moisture. I've seen a few RUclipsrs who have gone from APL to almost waist length in like 6 months to a year. It's very doable.
You got me wanting to straighten my hair but I'm lazy and then I'm even more cautious since it's currently pink. Your hair came out so pretty😍
Lazy ain’t the word girl lol I barely straighten it because of the process. But I think your hair would come out beautiful if you straighten it. Just do it on a low enough heat that it gets straight without causing heat damage. And thank you

It's ok to change it up. But shrinkage is beautiful, don't hate it, accept it. God made you that way.
I used biotin, olive oil & coconut oil. But only the first year. After that i got lazy and only use a spray bottle of water but im at lower back length.

I flat ironed my hair for the first time in over 2 years last week and I had to cut most of it off yesterday 😢
I didn’t use a high heat (380 on my 4Bish hair), I only did 1 pass, and I used heat protectant spray, but I had EXTREME heat damaged.
I wanted to cry so bad 😭
You probably had a lot of split ends, thats why you had to cut a good amount off. Before you straightened your hair you had heat damage?

TGIN Honey Miracle Mask is excellent for stretching your hair. I literally held my hair in my hand and put the blow dryer up to it and it started to straighten as I stretched my hair out in my hands while gliding the blow dryer down to the ends.

It's their hair. They should have freedom to do whatever they want with it whether that's wigs, weaves, relaxed, natural. Is it really okay to apply more than 2 different hair growth oils in your hair and scalp? I always apply 1 oil in my scalp per night before I go to sleep as I'm afraid of getting build up and flakes as I wear braids I rarely EVER wash my braided hair to get all the excess oils out as my braided hair could get frizzed up and messy when wet and shampooed so I always leave my hair dry or slightly damp as I now have a water spritz bottle I bought before Christmas last year.
Yeah I have the Wild Growth oil (second bottle now) that I use and it did help with the growth as last year in the summer my hair grew a lot after I had 2 inches cut off so I will continue using it until it runs out (in 10 months times maybe as I only use small amounts) and yes I watch hair videos of natural hair men with their flourishing long afro kinky hair so I'm not the only one!

I believe yes, as long as they aren't going to counter act I don't see a problem with it. Now if your hair isn't in the best shade it may cause your hair to break off but other than that I feel like it will do good for your hair. Try washing your hair every 2 weeks just to get your hair clean and a fresh start so there won't be any build up or dirt collecting. And I really love that Wild Growth Oil, it helped with my hair growth soooo much, I was surprised with my results and how fast it grew back. There is nothing wrong with you watching hair videos at all, if anyone has a problem with that they can kick rocks !!!
