Highest Optioned 2008 Porsche 911 GT2 (997)

Thank you for watching! In this episode, Mike and Aaron were at a club member's house that invite us to drive some amazing things. The first in this line up is this guards red on full leather red stitch 2008 GT2. This was the highest optioned GT2 in 08 all $227,000 worth of it.

Love my 2008 997tt. I can only imagine how the Gt2 feels. Love rwd cars, but appreciate having awd especially since I'm GIAC tuned to 600hp. Great video! Subscribed

Appears that the car has the 997.2 PCM/electronics. Was that swapped out or is this example in fact a 2009?

It is a 2008 997.1 PCM it is just shadowed making it appear black. There isn't a sim card reader on the right which is the other tell of the newer one.

There were 240 built in MY 2010 which had the PCM3 like the RS in 2011.

The carbon trim on the dash vents are lifting. 😖 Same thing happened in my car. Replaced it twice and still lifted a third time. Fourth time I replaced it with Alcantara. Did you know the PCM, HVAC plate and the button plate below are all covered in leather as well? That’s a CUR and EZB on the option list. Nice spec on this car!
