    Great ride. Too bad you had to turn back before the best part of the Parkway. Good excuse to go back.

      Thank you Craig! Couldn’t agree more. The trip was so much fun. Couldn’t include every video I liked. Otherwise it would’ve been over an hour long 😄

      @@ninerpeak I would have been ok with that, lol. Could've shown it on our wing days at Hurricanes.

      It’s still there, planning to upload unedited extended version of interesting moments.

    What a fun trip except the 800 mile one day ride back :) Our roads in VA are pretty good comparison to NY, NJ roads. If I lived up there I'd get a cheap Honda CRF with a 10" suspension :)

      Thanks! Haha yea RT is perfect bike for all occasions, I glide over those potholes. Yes the roads are amazing as we go farther from the city like Upstate and Eastern LI.

    Great video. I was on parts of the BRP last week including the viaduct, as well as 226A. Where on LI are you? How was the comfort of the RT for the trip?

      Thank you! I live near Garden City. Ride was comfortable. RT is a great bike. On the way back we only took two breaks totally maybe 1hr 19mins. We did around 3 hour stints. Hope your trip was as much fun as ours 😊 if not more. I wish we had one more day but most of us had work the next day.

      @@ninerpeak 3 hour legs is a long time in the saddle. I test rode an RT a few months ago - it was very comfortable and a lot of fun to ride. Love the boxer motor. My trip was so good, I’m going back again in a few weeks, this time on the GSA. I lived in Levittown for a long time before escaping NY to NC.

    I am about 10,000 miles into my 2022 1250R/T and I still hate the navigation system.

      @ninerpeak  3 месяца назад +1

      Yeah I agree with you. You can see it switching back and forth in this video. I keep it only when I’m not leading a ride. If I’m riding solo or leading a ride, I use Scenic.

      @@ninerpeak Do you notice any handlebar vibrations. I seem to notice it more in my throttle hand it is noticeable to me I was a little surprised when I left the dealership, I was expecting it to be more like a gold wing..lol!

      @ninerpeak  3 месяца назад

      @masterspin7796 I think you are on the money here. Boxer engine is not k own to be smooth but yes, I do feel more vibration in my right hand compared to left and I know I don’t have a death grip. This is even when casual highway riding. I use Grip Puppies. They seem to help a lot.

    How do you like riding a motorcycle in NY city?

    • @ninerpeak
      @ninerpeak  3 месяца назад

      I don’t 😊 I only pass through or avoid it whenever I can. Riding through traffic on a big bike is not fun.
