Originally filmed it for IG.
There are some plants that either grow into individual male or female plants or produce individual male or female flowers on one plant. To tell the difference between male and female flowers you’ll need to compare how each one looks to spot their differences. Without pollination, female flowers fall off and plants won't produce any fruit. Female blossoms are connected to the fruit. Male blossoms have a long, thin stem. Look behind the flower for a swollen base.
Luckily my bees and wasps are loving my pumpkin plants and they are all in there before i get out there in the mornings. So happy
That's great!
Thanks.... this was clear and concise.... really appreciated this tutorial. ❤
thank you! I'm Happy it helped
I will save this video. Thanks you again

Thanks for the video 🙏
Repent and trust in Jesus. We all deserve Hell for our sins, such as lying lusting coveting and more. We can't save ourselves, but Jesus can save us. He died on the cross to save us for our sins and rose from the grave defeating death and Hell. You must put your faith in him only. He is the only way to Heaven. Repent and trust in Jesus.
Romans 6:23
John 3:16

Hello I'm from Indonesia, want to ask, is the female or male flower grow from the same plant?
Hi, Thanks for reaching out! both male and female grows form the same plant. The plant usually produces more males in the beginning, followed by females
Wow 😳😊❤️❤️❤️I love this! Thx u so much for sharing🙌🏿❤️
And thank you for your feedback! :)❤️
I have plants and flowers but no pumpkins. If I manually fertilize them, how long can I expect pumpkins. It's already August 4th.
Sorry in advance for the dumb question, I am a novice at gardening. I have a pumpkin plant because I let my kid’s pumpkin decay on my yard last fall. They wanted a pumpkin plant I was certain it wouldn’t happen-well it did! So if I don’t pollinate the female flower, does that mean I won’t get a pumpkin?
@@maimeemay not a dumb question at all!. Most times bee and other pollinators do their job and pollinate for us. So we doing it is for added measure
Can you use the same male flower to pollinate multiple females?
Yes definitely. Once it still has pollen on it
thank you for sharing!!! is there a season for planting pumpkin seeds? If this is a factor, I live in the Caribbean, in Puerto Rico, so we don't have a "winter" season per say.
Hi dear. I'm in Jamaica. I plant out anytime
Neither have fruit at the beginning. That is the problem if you are an amateur.
Yes!!! Thank you!! Do you know how to tell?
Great information thank you🙏
Thank you🙏🏾
So into your gardening
😊❤️❤️ yes i am!
What's the name of the editing app you using
Thank you for sharing... May I ask if how many male flower to pollinate the female flower? Is it 1 to 1?☺️☺️ Thank you for the answer...
I normally use 2-3 male flowers once they are open.
Thanks so much! ❤
When do you open the flower after closing it?
It driea up and falls off naturally as the fruit grows
Thank you! ❤️
my female flowers don't seem to ever open. is this normal?
Can the fruit be male or female
No. The flowers determines this
yeah but if it has a fruit doesnt that mean thats already pollinated?
No it determines whether or not it's going to grow into a fruit. If the females are not pollinated it just sorta dries up and you have to wait till more flowers bud if there's still time
It's not a fruit but the ovary at this stage
@@jhndr0nia oh, thanks!
thats why you need to do 3 G cutting on pumkin to get more female flowers & if pollination not there
attempt hand pollination
to get more pumpkins
Steps of 3G Cutting:
😊Initially, the main branch growing from the sown seed must be allowed to develop and grow properly with close observation and care. After the main branch reaches the height of about 7-8 ft (gourds) or 5-6 ft (cucumber & pumpkin), cut the tip growing part of the plant about 4-5 inches.27 Oct 2020
you can eat male flower as veg.
Hi! Thank you for video! How long does it usually take for female flowers to blossom?
For me around 1 month
I have had somany bees and flowers, every flower has been male
If you pollinate it with the male plant with the fruit grow? Tia
Thank you!!
I'm glad it helped 😊
