Never realised all those stellar performers sang together on that magical song….a long time ago, how time flies, but, life is still the end of the innocence
This is just a moment in time that is hard to beat. Cant even remember how many times Ive rewatched and still every time it remains as beautiful as it was the first I watched it
After listening to this video for the 350th time and tearing up around the "let me take one last look before we say goodbye" mark for the 350th time, I can safely say: This is one of the absolute best live recordings of any song ever and I love you for posting it to RUclips.
Chills, literal chills. A recent discovery but already a fav. Bruce Hornsby is a criminally underrated musician. Also a reminder of how good 1990s late night TV was.
Some of my favourite artists ever, seem them all live, some a number of times. Magnificent, never realised they did this tour together (why did they not come to the UK). R.I.P. the mighty Mr Dave
We agree its a great song, can't we also agree that its great to hear it interpreted by different talented artists, in different ways. Like a favourite view, seen in the different lights of the day and seasons. All can be great, but in different ways.
too much talent on this stage. thank you for this fantastic ensemble

How wonderful to hear harmonies without Auto-Tune or pitch correction! Just the real thing beautifully performed

Beautiful, nailed it!
fabulous!
So special..
This was co-written by Bruce Hornsby-credit where it's due!
Actually he is the composer. Lyrics by Don Henley who had a big hit with the song.
@@ennoleuchtbergen yeah... i.e. co-written
❤️ it thanks.
Bruce Hornsby wrote it saw him 3 times with the range saw him in the Barrowlands Glasgow done a 3hr show
GREAT GEORGE MARINELLI
This song was written during the Reagan administration but fits the Biden one even more.
How to kill a song !!!
Its Bruce's original...they nailed it...
No. Not his original. Written by both Henley and Hornsby and sung by Henley. So the original is Henley which us far better than this.

That doesn't work.
Maybe the arrangements ?, it's certainly not lack of talent, David Lindley and Bonnie Raitt especially.
@@avinashrae6203 its a co - origional .....as the co writter , i think Bruce can give us his own interpretation.
R.I.P. Mr Dave, you were my hero.
