- A few quick thoughts on the Woodland Scenics layout kits (LINKS BELOW) since I had a question on them and that happened to be the way I got back into the hobby back in 2003. I have a few pictures of the layout, but no videos from back then. Also, a very quick peek at a new module section of the N Scale Modular layout at the end of the video.

I love those kits, but they cost soo much! I don't see one in my future.
Yeah, they are expensive, but they are cheaper than buying all the same materials separately. Of course it is usually a lot more affordable to buy materials in smaller quantities as you need them than all at once. That kit mainly for those more interested in saving time and the hassle of trying to buy everything separately.
A good kit to start or refresh your skills from a break in the hobby for sure

i would say they are a great price also. if you add up all the parts and pieces you would need to make such a layout, separately you would be spending much more. great way too get into the hobby
For sure, I should have mentioned that. The total price of what is included would be far higher if purchased separately. Certainly a more experienced modeler might buy one of the kits simply for the "parts" to then use on their own layout project.
