By far the best concert I have ever been to. I didn't know they could stuff so much talent in to such a small venue. Much love for the amazing players that night. I had chills with every song they played... One word to describe this night... Epic.
Just saw John Fogerty with ZZ Top a couple of weeks ago, and I’m so glad I did. Seriously one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen in my life! Fogerty is a living legend... so awesome.
Foo Figthers definitelly knows how to "cover songs". They have done pretty nice jobs and they have done it with the original artists, That's a fucking dream made true for them. Congrats.
I´m a big CCR fan and don´t care much about new bands. I listen to new music all the time but nothing stays anymore. This is a great, raw and fresh version of an old song. It still rocks. And John is as good as ever. He´s not backing down in front of guys half his age. Quite the opposite.
@ 3:18ms the Foo's bassist gives a big of look and smile of support to the Foo's lead guitarrist after his guitar solo, following John Forgety's solo. Sure he may need it :). Big CCR fan here. Ridiculously great band and songs.
The 60s were just a step ahead of me. I missed a lot... but it seems like I missed a lot of turmoil and hardship (not too mention the enlightenment and freedom searching). I admire those who did make it through though.
