I live in one of the biggest cities in Turkey. Unfortunately, Shape of Water was playing in only two cinemas here. I drove all the way to the other part of the city just to see this movie. I knew I would love it and it was so beautiful. I am super happy that it got two of the biggest awards of the ceremony. Well done Guillermo Del Toro and thank you for making wonderful movies!

Pan's labyrinth is one of the best movies Ever made! This guy is a legend.
I watched it more than once. I can bet Del Torro is inspired (possessed). All copies of Pan's Labyrinth must be destroyed and till then we must keep our children away from nasty stuff like this. That movie is pure evil. I have no experience with black magic. I am quite religious but one cannot deny the evil that permeates that movie. It mesmerizes children and lures them into black magic.
It was a great, heartbreaking movie.

He is a very humble and down to earth guy. Two weeks ago someone told him on Twitter about a man in his hometown Guadalajara having a medical problem. He led a campaign asking for help until the problem was solved. An exceptional human being.

Guillermo del Toro is awesome. I've been loving his films since Hellboy and Pan's Labyrinth. He's just plain cool and such a down-to-earth lovable guy still. He's funny and cool and has an imagination like no other. I'd honestly say he's my favorite director.
This guy is just so down to earth and clearly has a deep passion and love for his job. So happy for him and hope he get some more golden bois. Congrats to you Guillermo!
