If its only a bite plate to help the alignment in the deep bite that's the only use in your case, I thought in the video was a mixed one that we sometimes use RPE + Bite Plate sorry about that!

In general when you have braces or any orthodontic appliance, it's best to stick to soft foods like yogurt, mashed potatoes, scrambled eggs, pasta, and smoothies. You can still enjoy fruits and veggies if you cut them into small pieces. However, avoid sticky treats like caramel and gummy candies, hard foods like nuts and popcorn, and chewy foods like bagels, as they can damage your braces. Following these tips will keep your braces in good shape and help your smile stay on track! 😁🦷
I have a question. In most of your videos, i found out that most of your patients have either the expander or that rubber band spacer thingy that goes in between your teeth. But when i got braces months ago, i was surprised that i didn’t have to get either of those. May i ask why

Hi there my friend! And a Class 2 cross bite in orthodontics refers to a specific type of malocclusion where the upper teeth significantly overlap the lower teeth when biting down. It's also known as an (deep bite) so that's why we are using the bite plate on the video. This condition can cause difficulty chewing, speech problems, and jaw pain. Treatment usually involves orthodontic interventions like braces or clear aligners to correct the alignment of the teeth and jaws. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask! Question: I recently got my bite plate removed and I noticed that the gums at the back of my front teeth are swollen and pratcially reach the middle of my teeth but my gums don't hurt. Is this normal?
It's not normal but it's common in patients that wear bite plates for a couple of months, Your gums should go back to normal (If you have an excellent dental hygiene routine) also when was your last dental cleaning as well? With braces you should get a dental cleaning every 4 months instead every 6 months, Thanks for watching! Don’t forget to give us a like and subscribe to our channel! That would help us a lot! 🦷🧡
It takes time to get used to it my friend, sadly there is no trick or cutting corners just time and your body would get used to it... and overall you would have it only for 6-9 months...
It could be irritating if you don't have a good oral hygiene while wearing this appliance that's why recommend to use a water flosser specially in that area to avoid any inconvenience! Thanks for watching! Don’t forget to give us a like and subscribe to our channel! That would help us a lot! 🦷🧡

Does this effect speech like an expander does. Also what would be some tips for talking with the expander and getting food and such out of
