Yeah I was born missing a tooth and have a gap. They will fix the braces to where they need to move and keep that space open and I'll get an implant or a composite tooth with a bridge

I’m closing one gap. When I was 15 I had pulled my second to last tooth. Now the tooth that is next to the missing tooth started to shift crooked. I will close it and might put an implant behind it. My next two missing spaces, are getting implants.

hi!! i’m missing my second premolar. is shifting the molar into that place a bad idea? i need braces so an implant isn’t an option yet. will it make my smile look weird?😞 i do not know what to do
That's not a possibility my friend, Braces have a limit on what they can achieve and your occlusion (the way you bite) has to be in harmony meaning molars occluding molars and premolars other premolars etc, so I would recommended get braces first align your teeth and later on get a dental prothesis to restore the missing teeth!

Braces Retainer also use life time?
yes. right after ur braces treatment is over, ur teeth are prone to shifting back to their original position, so wearing a retainer is a must. prolly for a few years u have to wear them a lot but otherwise u can consult ur dentist for more details.

Yes you must wear your clear removable retainer forever if you don’t want your teeth to shift back to how they were before braces. You will get to a point where you only need to wear your retainers at nighttime but follow the instructions given by your orthodontist.
Wait, why do they put a fake tooth in if that tooth is going to go away after orthodontic treatment, couldn’t they just put a dental implant in first?

This is the question I’ve been having🤔
I actually have began my braces process and I will be getting implants as well but the reason they can’t get implants in first in which I was told was because of course the implants can’t be moved. So during my process they are moving all my teeth to the right spots and making sure to leave space at where the implant should be going then once braces come off the implant process begins. Which is a pain I feel like once the teeth are in the right spot the implants should be able to go in due to not having to eat certain food in the same processes and continue braces to make sure all teeth are perfect with the implant in. And not having to go through that whole process of having to eat soft foods again all over. But it’s all going to be worth it once it is all finished. I hope. Also this fake tooth with braces I never seen before which is cool but seems like it’s even more of a pain due to having to be extra cautious because the tooth isn’t fully held in.

Implants are expensive and are permanent. Pontic (fake tooth) are temporary tooth to replace the gaps between the teeth. It’s for aesthetic purposes. It’s usually recommended if you want to hide the gaps while in process of braces especially when you have an impacted canine being pulled in place. It will come out once the permanent canine is getting close to its spot.
I’m not a dentist or orthodontist but this is my case as of now with my braces. I just had my baby canine extracted.
