    I think one of the most powerful insight I had is that what I resist persist, in terms of thoughts. If you just let the thoughts flow, they go away almost instantly.

    "You're not necessarily afraid of existence, you are very much afraid of how existence makes you feel, so you're afraid of your own feelings"
    Dear God, you opened my eyes 💕

    Hi Robin,
    THANK YOU for providing these helpful insights. I’ve followed your work and course for the past few months and my DPDR has drastically improved. I can’t thank you enough.
    For anyone who can’t think you can’t recover, you absolutely can. You’re not alone. You got this!

    For the past two months, I feel like everything around me doesn't make sense. Why should we live if we're going to die anyway? Such thoughts have made me lose any joy in life, and the worst part is that I am no longer able to see my loved ones as real people. Everything around me seems unreal. This scares me the most. Your videos help me understand that it can be overcome. I also understand my condition a little better. I have my first psychiatrist appointment tomorrow - hope that soon I will be able to say that I have recovered too
    Lots of love 🩷

      It will get better, I promise you that. I am still in recovery, but I can tell you that I was exactly where you were a few months ago. I'm not 100% recovered and I still have my days, but you will not always be in this state of crisis. I know where you are it seems completely impossible, I thought it was going to be the end of me, but it's not. Hang in there, and just reply under this comment if you ever need support. I'm on YT constantly so I'm sure I'll see it shortly after you do lol

    Robin, did you experience sleeping problem during your DPDR and if yes what did you do against it?

  • @alexaberlein7790
    @alexaberlein7790 Год назад

    how mild or subtle can dp/dr look? I just rather feel quite meaningless now. I feel like anything I do doesnt have any point, which then leads me to not stick to my plans and compelte projects etc and feel good about it. I distract by socialising, ive noticed, because when Im alone these existential thoughts are overwhelming, but in a way that Im not very productive. More like Ee-aww from Winnie the Pooh if you get what im saying.

      Trust me you’re not special and I don’t mean that in a bad way, your symptoms and avoidance is normal. Try practicing acceptance and relaxation with those thoughts. Challenge them don’t fight them. When you feel that panic with that thought, say try me you can’t hurt me. Or other things, this helped me, and I now even laugh at some of the thoughts. Get a weighted blanket for good sleep and grounding and practice multiple relaxations or meditation sessions a day with it. Accept sitting with the feeling, relax when it comes. It’s your body’s freeze response to danger if you were in danger your muscles wouldn’t be relaxed. I have gotten past dpdr chronically with this “, and now it helps stop episodes before it comes. You got this
