Truthfully, I think it’s called following your heart and doing what you love to do. You can spend your entire life being miserable, working a job you hate and never having time to do anything you love… Or you can do what you love for a living and enjoy every day for the rest of your life. it will keep you a kid for the rest of your days. Regardless of how old you are.
Red Rocker a 76, still's got it! Those 3 dudes played smokin hot! And, Sammy's vocals are on spot! Imma a young 62, and can't wait to see Sammy Hagar perform, this summer, in Washington State! One thing Sammy proved during this video besides being the great guitar god and bad ass vocalist that he is... is that you're never too old to Rock and Roll!! 🎶🎸💖🎸🎶
I saw Zeppelin in 1971, 72, 73 & twice in 1975 at the LA Forum 👍👍👍👍👍 1973 was the Bonzo's Birthday Party concert. For that show his drum solo lasted for what seemed like 30 minutes or longer. All I know is I watched it for like 10 minutes and got up to go to the can. That took a while because the restroom was more than packed. When I got back to my seat he was still playing and he continued on more. Back then Zeppelin played 3 to 3.5 hour shows... ALONE!!!
Every time I need a shot of adrenaline I pull this up, strait forward rock and roll àllways does it. This is so solid. Great to see these three icons having a blast. Peace.........
This line up right here I'd love to see. Michael Anthony is so underrated great bassist, Sammy still got that lead guitar & vocals on point, & Tommy I think at 80 he will still be beating the shit out of some drums. This would be a cool super group with just 3. Rush done it. Let's make this happen Sammy Hagar, Tommy Lee & Michael Anthony.
Dude,...Hagar is 76 now,.....his voice is half of what it use to be. And Tommy Lee is the biggest douchebag in rock. Lee disrespected Neil Peart once on the radio, and that's when I swore off Tommy Lee.
Tommy always sounds so big, bashing the skins. I love the energy of his drumming. As a 16 year-old watching Girls. Girls, Girls in 1987 with my best friend and first real girlfriend, I remember thinking that his drums kept that entire show moving along, like anabolic steroids!
Michael Anthony is what we call a pocket bass player, solid steady and in the pocket, but the most underrated backing vocalist of all time, the best pipes in van halen
i used to look past tommy lee as a drummer. the older i get and the more i listen to crue i realized how underrated he is in the drummer community. hes always been the definitive rock star to me though...
First time I saw Motley Crue as a 16 yr old , in 1986 was awesome. The 2nd time I saw them a few years later with Tommy's new drum solo hovering above the audience BLEW MY MIND!! It was ridiculous..
I designed every inch of that remodel picked out everything. The tile mosaic backsplash was hand drawn. The hand cut french bleed chevron walnut floors. All of it. It was so much fun.
I remember this song live at the Swing Auditorium in San Bernadino, CA years ago. I was on my brothers shoulders close to the front and was loving life!
I grew up on all of your music, BUT i would love to see a cooking/rock show coming from you guys. Just the stories, the natural chemistry, the music and then some interesting takes on food. Now that would be a great show
Oh our LA STRIP TOUR GUIDES ex SUNSET STRIP) I wonder? They feel without EDDIE? I mean they got to feel something odd karma. The memory on Sammy is damn impressive! 😊
That could be a band right there. I would buy tickets today. Tommy Lee was always special, and his love of music goes all the way back to where he was a fan of Montrose I guess every drummer knows that album, but Tommy was always a favorite of mine, because he reminded me of Tommy Aldridge, which is one of my all-time favorite
good jam, guys. looks like a ton of fun. good to see tommy playing; haven't seen much of him lately. great to see him settled down. I'd be his neighbor now.
I like the story Tommy told about his parents! He did the right thing leaving school and now he is a legendary drummer! His parents are way proud of that!
Àllways loved Tommy's aggressive approach to drums, Motley Crue was lucky to have him. Where does the time go.... Three legends having a blast here. Peace.........
These 3 should make a project of their own, an album all their own. They sound incredible as a trio. I grew up on crew, van halen, Sammy. Fans would love it!!❤❤🎉🎉
Montross n Hagar, sweet candy, baby. Sammy, you're ancient too lol. One of my fav drummers. First time seeing the Crüe, Halloween night, early 80s, Concord Pavillion, north'n Cali, Y&T headlined, Randy Hansen opened. Tommy with his limbs swinging n twirlin', zippin' n zaggin', quite a showman. Great job, y'all, on the Rock Candy 🚘
This is what they love, Sammy, Michael, Tommy annnnnd the amazing Ronnie Montrose, Bill Church!! Keeps you young and alive doing what you're passionate about🤘🤘🤘. The beginnings aren't always easy but these guys kept going. Humble is cool. The 70s and 80s were the best. Pat Travers, Aldridge omg. The band needs the drummers, ain't nothing without the drums, respect.
Wow, I can't believe that Bad Boy Tommy was actually "embarrassed" to admit that he listened to The Osmond Brothers when for FACT they were some SERIOUS bad ass musicians! Their albums "PHASE III" & "Crazy Horses" are still great rock-pop albums!
Glenn Hughes is another monster vocalist who still rock's the mic & hasn't lost a note in his voice @72 years young. Glenn can sing Burn just as good as he did in '74 with Deep Purple while jamming out on the bass guitar at the same time. No bout a doubt it. Vocalist's like Sammy & Glenn are far & few between. +Peace & Rock n' Roll 4 Your Soul My Friends+ 🤘😜🤘
Tommy still happens to be one of my favorite drummers... Love the oversized kick drums and the aggressive style of that drumming. Not the greatest drummer out there, but just solid and great beats.
Hey Tommy be pride that is what interested u Donnie Osman dam I know he he happy as hell too hear his name come out your mouth about your inspirations that is what made u stand apart from others ❤
Love Tommy Lee Now ! SOBRIETY LOOKS GREAT ON YOU ! HES GREEK HERITAGE, HIS SISTER IS ATHENA SHES A BADASS DRUMER TOO! I agree with his choice ! Being 1/2 UK MY FAVE BAND ALWAYS BONZO OF COURSE! They both look can cook for me anytime! 😊😊
Neil Peart, “The Professor” is the best drummer ever in my opinion! Everyone has a right to their own opinion. Neil was so much more than a drummer. He was an amazing lyricist and human being! We can’t say such for Lee.
Tommy, I listened to John Denver, Van Halen, Metallica, Dean Martin, Motley Crue, Toby Keith, Radiohead, Bon Jovi, Garth Brooks, Marty Robbins, Led Zeppelin, Prince, etc., as my influences, so I understand your dilemma. Funny how you had to shield your bass drum with a moving blanket for this video!
Yep being in primary school in Australia 🇦🇺 it was AC/DC all the time on the am radio 😂 & others but yea AC/DC were considered naughty boys back then they were fuckin legends, I’ve got at ET doll that Tommy’s got on his drums 😂
Tommy, Sammy and Micheal having a blast three legends right there. Allways loved Tommy's aggressive approach to drums. Legends...........
This was so cool. Tommy is a dang good drummer. You can see these guys all still absolutely love making music
OMG ! I love this! They sound so incredible! Sammy and Tommy and Michael ROCK!!!! 🎸🎸🎸
They do.
Indeed, all legendary.
How is Sammy 76 ???? He's gotta be the youngest 76 yr old OF ALL TIME !
Chickenfoot times. Ten years ago
@ actually this was only ONE year ago, so Hagar was 75
The guy could pass for 40 something.
Funny, he looks younger than Tommy! 🤔
Truthfully, I think it’s called following your heart and doing what you love to do. It’s amazing at 76 he still sounds 20 years old. Legend.
This episode was filmed ten years ago.
@@ivanbajovic3476 well at 66 he sounds like he's 20.
If you had millions you would look good too.
@@pamelapoulos5019maybe, genetics play the biggest role here.
@@pamelapoulos5019 i have hundreds and look like sh*t.
Red Rocker a 76, still's got it!

That was fucking awesome! That’s who should be playing the drums if you actually get this tour together! 😎💯🔥

This was one of the funnest 15 minutes I spent in a while. Solid gold!! Thank You!!
should get outside more
Michael Anthony is what we call a pocket bass player, solid steady and in the pocket, but the most underrated backing vocalist of all time, the best pipes in van halen
The last concert at Wembley Stadium and the first concert at Wembley arena was VAN HALEN with Mr. Hagar. I will never ever forget these performances.

Sick jam brothers. Tommy is an absolute beast🤘🏻Michael Anthony total legend.
Very fortunate to have grown up in this era and lived this life! Rock on!
I love you Tommy!❤ Sammy never ages either. What an icon

Tommy Lee & Sammy Hagar chopping onions and making spring rolls.
I must be dead
😅
Apples not onions.
When Tommy starts smiling as soon as they start jamming and he's just playing a simple beat... that's what it's all about it. True drummer love 💯
Tommy is the greatest of his generation, by far.
I saw both of these guys in concert! 😊
good jam, guys. looks like a ton of fun. good to see tommy playing; haven't seen much of him lately. great to see him settled down. I'd be his neighbor now.
Tommy does have his own shit and it's awesome. My favorite album to listen to.
Nice Pad! I like Tommy who cares what people say!
I like the story Tommy told about his parents! He did the right thing leaving school and now he is a legendary drummer! His parents are way proud of that!
Even drum set roller coasters cant make Vince Neil worth stomaching.
😮
Say what you will about Tommy Lee, but the guy is a great rock drummer. He hits hard, consistently, and grooves. Love it.
Amazing how these guys can just jump in and jam and sound like they could just head out and go play on tour.
This was amazing. Thank you for posting this. I love when you get to see real rock stars being themselves.
Awesome video Tommy is great drummer and singer too
three legends!
Tommy Lee! This is INFKNCREDIBLE!

SAMMY., Give Tommy words of encouragement and wisdom.
1973. Hell yah
Sammy is in his 70's now. Still rocking and rolling.
Sammy doesn’t age
While I agree...this video is about 9 years old. Still a great jam though!

Tommy Lee one of the greatest drummers of all time!
Love this song its so amazing
Three legends having fun. Rock Candy solid song from the 70's. Never gets old. Peace.....
this is one song i loved to play in all of my bands
Tommy was a frontman at one time in the 2000's in his band called Method's of Mayhem.
This was fkn Awesome! And Michael Anthony too! WOW!
As a bass player myself Michael Anthony is no joke the killer backups in the pocket all the time that's what it's about
Gave me chills when dad said that's my boy..
Love the jam session!😊😊😊😊
Tommy can lie on whatever but when he said his biggest influence was Bonham I KNOW HE DOESN'T LIE. His drum playing always remind me to Bonham.
yeaaah...I KNOW YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT TOMMY LEE lol
Timeless- love to see ya fellas continue to live life to the fullest!
TOMMY LEE SO GREAT ON AXS TV !!!
Awesome ❤️ I loved these guys.
Tommy's pocket is so deep and overlooked
Sammy wins for keeping his voice.
2016 show

Glad to see Michael back in the groove” again!! Wolfie should’ve been invited into this!😊😊😊
To be in that room when they're making music 😵💫
hagar has been great his entire life since montrose and beyond, and a great dude.
Oustanding performance !!!😮
You guys would make a great trio!!!
Good for Tommy staying clean & sober & doing things.
Tommy still happens to be one of my favorite drummers... Love the oversized kick drums and the aggressive style of that drumming. Not the greatest drummer out there, but just solid and great beats.
This was 10 years ago
Hey Tommy be pride that is what interested u Donnie Osman dam I know he he happy as hell too hear his name come out your mouth about your inspirations that is what made u stand apart from others ❤
Now i understand why my x's were drummers ;)
i have a newfound respect for sammy that was a good performance
Omg!!!! I love these guys
Saw Sammy at the Monsters of Rock in Memphis, TN. My group started the huge paper fight! Hahahahahahaha

Awesome song right there baby !
Sammy dang you
sound great!
this interview was 8 yrs ago.
Sammy has to be standing on something.
Love both these guys!
Wow that was awesome. Sammy vox was on point. Tommy has a awesome jam room.
Michael Anthony never gets any recognition
Neil Peart, “The Professor” is the best drummer ever in my opinion! Everyone has a right to their own opinion. Neil was so much more than a drummer. He was an amazing lyricist and human being! We can’t say such for Lee.
Good Flash back 👍
I like Tommy but I am Team gun's roses 🌹😁🎸
My Memories i miss , whaaaa
Tommy one of my favorite drummers
... and across from the Tower Records was the Coconut Teaszer... but no more :(
Second time I have seen Sammy and Tommy do Rock Candy. Cool every time. Probably my favorite Sammy/Montrose tune
Pure love, beautifully done💪
Tommy, I listened to John Denver, Van Halen, Metallica, Dean Martin, Motley Crue, Toby Keith, Radiohead, Bon Jovi, Garth Brooks, Marty Robbins, Led Zeppelin, Prince, etc., as my influences, so I understand your dilemma.
Funny how you had to shield your bass drum with a moving blanket for this video!
Sammy is an example of how to grow older, an older version of your younger self
Right on T bone. Down by lazy river is killer!
best episode!!
Yep being in primary school in Australia 🇦🇺 it was AC/DC all the time on the am radio 😂 & others but yea AC/DC were considered naughty boys back then they were fuckin legends, I’ve got at ET doll that Tommy’s got on his drums 😂
I want to see them fire up a YT crafts channel. Crafting & cooking & chatting.
My first job was Tower Records 1987
