Denise I’m dying. My husband has a fence company and I never listen to his fence stories or do anything fence. He would seriously roll his eyes if he knew I watched an entire video of a fence being built and enjoyed every minute of it. 😂😂😂. You guys did a great job. It looks so good.

Denise those 2 solar lights may get enough sun in the summer when the sun is higher in the sky
You can also get a contraption that helps with the lid. It’s looks like a water ski boom on a boat. It’s good for a 1 man pull back.
Is it possible to take the two solar lights off and just sit them in the sunlight and then put back on the post although you probably wouldn't want to do it on a regular

I’m totally impressed with the hot tub. We just have a little intex and we love it. I would love more of a real hot tub. You will not regret the hot tub. It’s such a fun nice way for family fun together. Not to mention how it will help take away body aches and stress. You guys were so smart to make that investment. Enjoy!!!

I love your backyard. I can imagine the weather. I live in MS and we had a very cold week here like in the teen at night. I’m not a cold weather person, so I couldn’t stand it. Looks so nice. Enjoy your hot tub. Winter is the best tub time. Air is crisp and cold but the tub is warm and relaxing.
You can made a garden for fresh veggies this summer. The kids would love that! Plus YUM
Tip for gutter drains……Home Depot sells a four inch black flex pipe with a fitting that is square on one side to fit the drain and round on the other to attach the pipe. You dig a trench to bury it starting straight down and out into the yard, then cover it and forget it. The grass will be watered from underneath, keep it fairly deep so no moat will form or direct it under a row of shrubs or trees.
You might find the solar lights under the awning will light up during the summer when the sun is at a different angle. My solar lights definitely work better/worse depending on the season.

Have you considered a French drain for the gutter sleeve in your storage area? Chances are it will be a soggy mess in that area since there doesn’t seem to be any way the sun can dry it out when it snows/rains. Just an idea.
