Very nice video and shooting. I do love the very light trigger pull on the Diana T06 triggers. I find that especially with quality pellets the Diana model 34 classic is probably the most accurate break barrel because of its medium weight and great balance and the great fluorescent sights and the light trigger pull and cocking effort. My Diana model 34 classic .22 is the most accurate gun of any kind that I’ve ever owned
Hi Travis, Very good video, I'm glad to see you shoot really well with this Diana, groups very well with Crosman, this is an extra bonus to the wallet. Now to be perfect you just need to adjust the spring guide and a top hat. cheers
Nice video. Last video you said that you were not an airgunner. Sir you are checking all the boxes, turning your own airguns, mesuring pellets, getting chrony numbers, etc. We are always learning but you are deep into the airgun rabbit hole. This is a very cool hooby.
Great video! I found that better pellets shoot higher, or more level and more accurately compared to lesser quality designs. Cost is no factor. Example, for my guns, RWS Superdomes 8.3 gr. shot faster and more accurate than JSB Exact 7.87 gr. at 25 and 33 yards. But RWS is ONE THIRD the price of JSB. Guess what pellet I shoot now... Thanks for the video!
Great gun that Diana 34 Classic. Mine is topped with a Hawke 2-7 power mil dot reticle scope. It shoots AirArms 8.44 grain pellets, both the 4.51 and 4.52 head size in ragged hole groups out to 35 yards and only opens up ever so slightly at 40 to 45 yards. It’s a good hunting rifle out to 50 yards on squirrel and rabbit but I do keep most shots at 40 yards and under. Mine chronographs an average of 980 FPS with the 8.44s and that’s right at 18 FPE. I bought mine new about two years ago.
I would like to add a Diana 34 Classic in .22 caliber to my air rifle arsenal but.... Diana changed the design of the 34 series right after I bought my .177 and I’m not particularly fond of the change they made. It may be just as good, I don’t know, but one of the reasons I wanted the 34 Classic was because of its long many years track record of being a superior and proven design from a premier German gunmaker. Think maybe the Hatsan .22 in that similar model they offer might be the closest thing to the Diana 34 Classic in quality, styling, and power range.
Greetings Travis. You are shooting that 34 very well! I'd say the H&N and JSB's are shooting well. Someday you will try some 10.4 or 10.5 grain pellets and see how they do. You might still be in the break in period for that gun. Maybe just shoot it. I like the crosman premier domed hollow point pellets. they are less expensive. They are harder lead which may or may not be good for your application. The .22 CPDHP pellets are not the most accurate out of my guns, but they shoot straight enough to be considered reliable hunting pellets for my uses. The JSB 16 and 18gr pellets are the most accurate. You're right, you never know what shoots best out of any gun until you have tried them. The airgun journey is fun. Enjoy! R, Steve
I tried 2 gamo varmint lately (broke the first one after less than 300 shots) And even if its the "same airgun" they really dont like the same pellets ! First one LOVED crosman pellets this one HATES them with a passion but will shoot the trash gamo pellets that none of my other airguns wanter to shoot (varmint #1 didnt liked gamos at all) What works for a particular airgun may not work for an other for sure
Id like myself a building to shoot from for sure (damn its cold now about -3°c and thats only a start 😬) I thought the varmint was still not doing great, turns out my indian gamo didnt like the crosman arrows for once! (Most of my rifles shoot them pretty good honestly at shorter ranges) Out of 7 pellets my good old pointys did pretty much the worst group (6/7) and the good old sig flats got #1 😁 youd be proud of them! I was very surprised when I found out it would shoot gamo's better then crosmans! (The first varmint wouldnt shoot those good) Plot twist, I bought it to shoot my gamo pellets at first so im stoked! Took about 200 shots to figure I just needed to try more pellets 😁 I thought it was a good idea testing it with the same random pellets as the first one (it did very good so I thought this one is going to like them too its "the same") but nah exept rws meisterkulgeln,Sig Match *PlumBum* and stoeger x-hunt none of the pellets ive tested performed similar in both rifles! Enjoyed the long video! Would have liked a better close up of the target at the end but thats no big deal the target cam is doing good
Nice shooting Travis. It's breaking in well. The springer twang is hard to listen to but with accuracy like that who cares! You should repeat what your just did at the next stop 25 and/or 30 yards?
budget wise it likes those Crosman pellets just fine, I'd hunt em. 1st group H&N was a little tighter, same 1st of JSB's. got any of those Daisy 7780 HP's?
No sir! Didn’t video it. Or I did and it was a bad one. They’re on my list though. So is a tiny crossbow. Been thinking of trying to make a video with that and dip the tips in finger paint for the target.
@@ohshoot444 balloon popping with the crossbow toy is fun too, clip the head off a pin, wrap 1/2 in paper, stuff it into Q-tip tube and crazy glue it in. on a good launch it'll stick into corrugated cardboard target at 3-4 yards. I'm gonna have to whip up more of those things. with the cotton left on at the back end same type dart through a long drinking straw is fun/funny too. crossbow toy takes practice setting the darts within 1 mm of the string to get decent shots off, paper cups at 10 feet is a challenge.
@@ohshoot444 I like it, it's perfect. You got the chrono deal and the trigger pounds thing lol, which you showed but if you say it as well, would be better too, cuz I didn't see it. I like seeing all the different pellets you try, especially in the cheaper guns cuz it give hope that they will maybe shoot well, but at the same time, maybe cheap guns will just never be that accurate. I still want to see 50 yard type shots, for better or for worse lol
The Germans And Brits got their act together with fine craftsmanship. Too bad our American companies can't produce a break barrel that can rival them not even close. CROSMAN Corp. AND DAISY do not care to make a formidable air rifle.all they care to do Is Mass produce it seems like. All about VOLUME = no TRUE PASSION for real enthusiasts. Spain is a close second. But Gamo is hit and miss more like tons of misses lol. Minus the Bone collector gen 2 . It's pretty good. If you can look for Cometa Air rifle from Spain. Not too expensive and a decent shooter. But the 34 is a good rifle.

It does need a kit! Hopefully my eBay endeavors will be profitable in the next few weeks.
I have a 34 in .22 and it’s a great gun! Just shot a dime sized group at 25 yards using the H&N hammers yesterday.
Nice shooting I wouldn't be ashamed of any of those groups! Have a good one Travis
Thanks John!
Better production all around. My Diana T06 is a joy to shoot. Enjoyed the video.
