- The ALL NEW Tahoe High Country is here and Chevrolet has totally redesigned it for 2021. Under the hood is the 6.2L V8 that is pumping out 420HP & mated to a 10-speed automatic. The exterior of the High Country features a uniques grill and 22in wheels. On the inside you will find more room and technology then you have ever seen on a Tahoe. JOE ~ I like the interior bronze touches, looks nice. other than the seam on the mid row control panel the interior is pretty decent, I wish it came with a couple of sunroofs though because when you were in the rear row seats it looked like a cave it was dark lol. plenty of power. all in all I say a good soldi SUV. sweet report - tony
What is really disappointing in the new Tahoe and Yukon is that they don't have any kind of interior ambient lighting... Adding few would have been nice

@Sadman Islam all cars in this segment... Even cgeaper ones have some sort of ambient lighting... For example... The hyundai palisade, the telluride, even smaller sedans have it
Would've been cool though! Maybe Chevy should put ambient lighting at least on the top trim or as an option on their vehicles? That would be nice! A bit like how the Camaro has it! Damn I love the ambient lighting in the Camaro!

Normally I'm not a fan of coach lines on a car, even on a Rolls Royce, but they work on this beast.

The only thing I dislike about the high country is the branding they put all over it. That's exactly why I'd go primer to keep the outside sleek and free up all the repetitive "high country" emblems

Hard choice, I like how GMC integrated the infotainment system in the Denali, not a fan of the iPad style in the Chevy, both pretty much the same price, does the high country have the 3.6 diesel option?

The RST has a sunroof. But I don't know why this model doesn't have it.

They increased the size on 2021 and wheelbase. Not much smaller than the Burban now!

I wish they had kept the column shifter, it just needed a soft leather wrapped handle but the buttons are not a deal breaker.
Other than that they should of painted to wood to match the leather like Ram did with the Limited. Black or ash grey wood would look so good with the Bronze trim and black leather.
I think they should made the steering emblem with the Bronze aluminum, a little extra touch for the High Country.

@@RaitisRides The only real bad things I would say is the gating the 6.2 to the top trims.
And the 5.3 still existing. They should of replaced that with 5.0 DOHC or at least a 5.7 Push-Rod like Dodge and Toyota offer.
I was looking at the 2021 Tahoe z-71 package on the interviews on you-tube...
the Tahoe z-71 looked good until watch one review and there was no auto lockers of any kind just makes good for city driving

Yeah bummer no panoramic sunroof? At that price should definitely be there. I see on the website its an optional package called High Country Deluxe
