One thing's for sure, Chris Cheney, Scott Owen and Andy Strachan have never been afraid to bring out the artillery to express themselves in their songs. On stage as in life, the band is both revolutionary and resilient, and you can feel it from the very first guitar riff! Aussie Punk rockabilly!!!

These guys exploded onto the scene in the 90s and have been, blowing the roof off every since.
Check out their live Big Day Out shows from 2003 - the songs 'Prisoner of Society' and 'E-Boogie/Second Solution'.
They will absolutely blow you away with these sets.

This band/album smashed its way onto the scene. The first song was Prisoner Of Society, and THAT was tune. I guess they were a bit like Stray Cats on steroids. The guitarist, Chris Cheney is one of Australia's best, often popping up in projects like the remake of Evie by The Wright's and recently, a Beatles show.

One drawback to getting older for most of us is that your voice is not the same. They still rock for sure.

      Glad you liked it Laura.
This was the first band i saw live.
Payed $15 to see them at a place called "Crash & Burn" in Brisbane.
I was 16 and looked like a drink of water but the bouncers let me in anyway.

It's interesting to see someone reacting to TLE who's never heard of them before! Very amusing! 😂😂😂 I live in Australia so I've been to see them live many times before.

Great band, saw them live in their early days in the 90’s. They rocked it then for sure. More double bass antics.
    Kinda a rockabilly punk vibe.

Love The Living End - they are fantastic live but definitely rock studio versions just as hard.

Such a good guitarist - and the rest are great too - but the guitar is a real stand out.
