I've been considering adding a P226 to my collection. I prefer the aesthetics of the beavertail on the P226 and find it does seem to help tone down the muzzle flip.
Nice video. I got the same P226 TacOps for my first handgun back when the first covid checks went out. I’d been itching to pick one up, they were becoming harder to find, and the “free” money made it seem like it was meant to be. I shoot it often and it’s been perfect so far.
If we could still legally get handguns in Canada, I think my 2nd handgun would be Sig Sauer's 226 Nitron in 9 mm with the threaded barrel, or something very close to it. I have shot several time Sig's 226 Navy in 9 mm. A very nice firearm. Will have to look at the one you just reviewed soon. Thanks for the review.
Love those p series pistols. Great review. I have a 228 and shooting DA, I’ll have at least 2-3 high and to the right out of 13 round mag. Shoot the SA great. Could use some tips for DA. Your shots are right there
This is the series that can save Sig's reputation. I suggest they offer more calibers and more capacity on their mags and bring back the whole p2XX line.
Good morning, Jason, I will have to investigate adding a Sig to my gun safe. They're not as sexy as a 1911, but they the part and that is all that matters, Cheers.
Enormous grip and weighing 10-12 ounces more than most full-size polymer pistols probably contributes more to Cadillac recoil than full length rails do.
Great video so between the different versions of the sig p226 which would be best to buy for duty use I work private security so I was looking at the p226 mk25 ,legion ,or pro cut version?

I have one, I love it! Accurate, love the SRT and I absolutely love how it feels in my hand.
Great to hear!

I Believe the MK25s were all stainless steel upper and lower plus the barrel is chromed lined at least the Military version of the MK 25s .
I think you are right.
A P226 X5 is my dream gun
That is a great pistol!
Mine came with a threaded barrel and different sights. I think the best feature is that mine came with five 20 round mags in the box.
Those extra mags are nice.

That is awesome. It is a fantastic pistol.

You are welcome. I hope you get the laws changed there in Canada.

Thank you so much!

That would be great if they did! I agree.

They are classic though.

Good point.

I would prefer the Mk25. But that is just because I like pistols with military use and history.
@@thetexasgunvault I agree just wish it a Red dot mounting plate
@@thetexasgunvault might get the legion
I own a sig 226 elite what do you think of this firearm
It is a great one. But most of the Sig P226s are.
