What’s so great about these songs is they never sound the same night to night. Those sequencers change the dynamics. Too many bands wouldn’t have the guts to be different each time. These guys simply go for it. It’s a tightrope they’re on.

For anyone wondering, in everything in is right place thoms keyboard goes trough ed's pedalboard, as you can see during the little improv in the begginning thom constantly looks at ed waiting for the heads up, cause he's sampling that improv to make all those texture you hear near the end, and also he puts effects on the keyboard. On the other end thom's mic is connected to jonny's pedalboard, so he samples it and process it with is kaoss pad and effect pedals. All of this is done in the moment in front of like 50000 people just to let you know how badass this guys are

Radiohead are reminding me of experimental Icelandic stuff like Múm and Sigur Ros. There's an Icelandic folk music thing where there's beautiful harmonies interspersed with intentional discordant notes, and its hauntingly beautiful. Been hearing it in Radiohead today and loving it. Wow
I just put that in a reply, so I copied it here too. Never really listened to Radiohead properly, before today, and I'm pretty blown away to be honest. It's like discovering a new band, I'm excited!

This song is a masterpiece, and this shows in how good some of the covers are. TImelessly brilliant songs are ones that can be covered well and still sound good. Some times are surprisingly good when covered when it didn't do anything for me originally. This also tells me that timelessly good songs are something beyond the original, where it's drawn from something better than even the original somehow.

I'm thinking it's maybe the Christie's thing with Stanley Donwood selling his lovely canvases/ album covers. Went to the exhibition small but worth it loved seeing the works up close. Saw Stik's work too that was cool. 😎
