  • Seeker takes her first steps with the help of a lot of great people at Taylor Crane and Rigging. It was fantastic to work along side these folks, to learn from them, and see that nothing was a problem they could not solve.

I would have loved so much to come help and I'm sure you'd have something for me to do lol. You had people from all over helping to get this thing to the water. But I haven't been all that mobile until as of late. Nonetheless such an inspiring thing to watch happen, finally seeing seeker nearing completion! Nice to see how it came out of the yard. I am guessing that the first bit of moving to get it turned around was a some of the most nerve wracking. Hopefully get to hit the water soon.
Need you guys to come trim some trees for me. Got one the insurance company was complaining about cause it is touching the roof.... On the porch where the roof is completely shot. Anyway ran three 20 amp circuits to the office though they are not tied in yet, two more to my DataComm closet also not tied in yet, and to the smaller of the bedrooms downstairs but got it tied in. GFCI/AFCI at the breaker so actually beyond OK electrical code. Planning to use the GFCI/AFCI breakers for the kitchen wet locations, bathroom, and bedrooms since they were only a few bucks more than the AFCI which is required in bedrooms now and covers all outlets instead of using GFCI outlets and then trying to gang them together. Plus I am currently using them on the old knob and tube circuits that are still running the lights for now. Amazing what you see in a 100 year old house but when I am done it should be pretty cool.
If you need a break for a day or two load up and head out to Pawnee, we can run some electrical and figure out the best ways to take out the old chimney's... LOL

You are lucky that in the past ten years they did not develop the park in some way. I knew someone who built a 26 foot boat in his back yard and while he was building it someone decided that a new power sub station was the perfect thing to put just where he thought the boat was going to come out of his yard. In the end it had to be craned right over his house due to the power lines going to the sub station.
