Martial Arts Masters Rate 21 Fight Scenes in Movies and TV | How Real Is It? | Insider - Развлечения
See I like how the Wing Chun guy actually said the karate in the 10v1 would actually eat that guy up because he's not biased for his own martial art
True, good karate martial artists can have extremely powerful punches and kicks, the one person may try to one punch disable one of them, but soon or later some punch will land and fight is over. I mean you can block one two three if someone is fast but not this many people.
👍🙏
It's a known fact the most 1 person can Fight off is 3 people if they're good at what they do.. but 4 or more nah
I respect his honesty. It's needed in martial arts. There are specific arts for specific needs. It's best practice to tell the truth.
But they really did attack him one by one haha
Master Wong explains it with enthusiasm and excitement! It shows how much he love what he is doing. Big respect, Master!
That guy is a scam artist fraud, do some research.
I aspire to have half the energy this Wing Chun master has
Master Wong is so much fun.. he gets really excited when explaining things. His channel is a great watch as well.
he has a strange accent like he has some british mixerd in lol
@@Doobie603 He is actually based out of the UK.. good ear, man.. lol On his channel, he curses and goes all out.. it's great and wild to hear.. haha
@@wushushorty1 Thanks I'll check it out.
@@wushushorty1master shart is not a real fighter lol. Just watch ramsey dewey
knowing he's a youtuber helps explain how Every Comment is Emphasized, haha
You know someone is badass when their first name is Master
/s
Cauliflower ear is what does it for me.
Master Wong's energy is infectious.
For these masters, if it's Bruce Lee, it's automatic 10/10 .... Really amazing to see how Bruce influenced a lot of martial artist in a short span that we have him. Rest in paradise greatest!
The one thing that Bruce lee looks awkward is the camera that time can't fully capture Lee Movements. So basically first lee have to really slow down his movement in a very much sluggish yet sharp moves and then they had to then slow the film down so that people can actually see what his doing. The first show lee aired was like a king-fu gasm cause he was a it guy task to beat people up in that 60s detective show. He literally destroyed the whole office set. Cause the props weren't as WWE level of easily breakable props used. Bruce lee is just a beast of his time.
He was a mediocre fighter and was 135 I could have beat him
@@vegetablackpotato4700 Last person to say this to a martial artist got knocked out in less than 1 second... 200lb+ fitness influencer btw
@guojames9269 ay bruh I wasn't being all that serious but idk man I think I'd have a chance I'm a lot bigger and I have done wrestling I have no doubt that Bruce Lee could not guillotine me if I take him down I don't see much submission threat from him and I don't think he has enough grappling knowledge to stop ground and pound even from guard and I could likey slam him pretty good considering his size. Although he's much more athletic then me and Definitely more explosive.
I love that you brought back Master Wong! The others are great too, but I LOVE this guy's energy and enthusiasm!
Commenting on Bruce Lee’s nunchuck segment; “he has them backwards.. you don’t see that often” Bruce Lee was a different beast, man 😂
Feel like training with Master Wong would be a lot of fun. Seems like a genuine person, as well as an expert.
watching master wong & michelle yeoh in one video is straight up lit for me!!! thanks insider🙏
0:08 I didn't know Mr. Wong was a 8-time Muay Thai World Champion
Woah I caught that too 🤣

Sherlock: first, distract target
I immediately get an ad
So happy to see Master Wong on this stage. I’ve followed him for 7 years now. He’s come a long way
The explanation of the wing-chun techniques was so intriguing!
Really fun to watch Master Wong explain.
Thank you for these masters in the martial arts! Always enjoy watching these videos!
This is one of my favs, loved it!!! Do more with this dude!!
The first guys English is incredible! For me it’s usually very hard to understand English with this certain accent but he really knows what he’s saying!
As a kid I loved reading about Yip Man and Bruce Lee. Bruce Lee like many was my favorite martial artist and actor.
"Warrior" TV show is an underrated gem.
Can't wait for Season 3, might be one of the moments I've watched a show recommended from the internet and end up great.
It's the same level as the godfather of Harlem
Miriam Nakamoto has a Natasha Lyonne energy going on. The voice, facial expressions and body language all remind me of Lyonne. It's a compliment.
All were so fascinating. I never heard the reasoning Shifu gave of Enter the Dragon @23:35 before. I always thought it was showing just how much faster Bruce was compared to his opponent and that is it. Awesome to hear there is something else to that punch.
Glad they showed Uriah Hall's spin kick from TUF. Still one of the more violent kick KOs I've seen in MMA.
Uriah used to fight
In chuck Norris
Combat league
As well as
Wonderboy Thompson
These martial arts react videos are the best. The people they get are so dang knowledgable and movies get so much right. I loved all of them, especially because they all acknowledge some of the moves are exaggerated for film but they don't overreact and call it crap.
To Tony Jaa credit, in Ongbak he mostly use Muay Boran to fight, not the modern day Muay Thai.
The main different between these 2 Muay is that Muay Boran is the technique that develop to KILL your opponent in the very old era of Thailand (before we were called Siam and then Thailand) as the last resort when you lose your weapon.
While Muay Thai is the much safer version of Muay Boran which still contain the core of Muay Boran while strip off the element that deem too dangerous to use in modern day as a sport.
The technique that he use when he Teep his opponent face is call "BaTa-Loop-Pak" (บาทาลูบพักตร์) which roughly translate to "Feet at the face"
The closest technique in Muay Thai Boran to that scene in Ongbak that Tony Jaa jump to his opponent shoulder and elbow to the head is call "Rue-Si-Bod-ya" (ฤาษีบดยา) or roughly translate to english "Hermit grind medicine" which is technique that you climb on one of your opponent leg with one of your leg and use your another leg to put your weight on opponent shoulder then elbow to opponent head.
Yes
Muay boran
And muay thai r 2 different styles
Both r umbrella terms
Both r made up or based on
10 seperate styles each
The 10 styles r taught individually
Then put together
To create your own style
Muay thaichiya
Is one style
Under the umbrella of boran..
Muay femur
Muay mat
Are 2 muay thai styles
Sanchaei is muay femur
Buakow is
Muay mat
I feel like the numbers tell us more about how polite the expert is than how realistic it actually is lmao
I love how energetic and passionate Master Wong is about his craft. He's so excited
Loving Master Wong, he’s like a kid having a sugar rush
Master Wong is awesome thank you very much sir
The spear vs sword fight in "Hero" should be here.
Thank you ALL for your very insightful evaluations.
I am grateful for your 10 out of 10 for the John Wick fight. Keanu works very hard for months before each fight & they do their very best to make each fight believable.
25:19: "It's simple you know. It's a question, you give him punch or give him kick." I like that elegance. Beautiful.
Can I just say how underrated Warrior is?
Yes you can 👌🏽 I co-sign that
One thing about the Sherlock Holmes scene is that it was to promote his way of thinking along with a martial arts portrayal of Bartitsu not exactly Wing Chun.
Primary schools: Head, shoulders knees and toes..
Martial arts: Where are the elbows
These Experts React videos are my High Habit (TM pending) and I can't get enough of them.
Arrow and Hawaii Five-0 have A LOT of fight scenes. The one in 2x06 from Hawaii Five-0 would have been a particularly good one for the MMA section.
I wonder who would be last standing if these experts would fight each other
Love these videos
3:35 I always question that situation in almost every movie with combat fighting. Only a one person runs up, and the rest of them wait. Why not just jump him at the same time 😂 this had me laughing
Bcause they'd get in the way of each other
In real life one fatal move costs u your life
The staff guy i love it...THATS NO PROBLEM 😂
That simplicity at 23:38 had me busting up 😂😂 “I could just.. beat you.”
Wong knows so much. just delightful
Cool that y’all got all kinds of masters instead of just one talking about all the arts
The Wing Chun guy is crazy intense. I bet that dude is scary in real life!
Everything I've read said that David Carridine didn't know much about Kung Fu, but I like his show (the original) anyway. And frankly I don't see how knowing if Jackie Chan is a legit martial artist would make any difference to me. And, you know, Chuck Norris may have been a great martial artist but he's zip as an actor.
This the content I search RUclips for hours!
The variety in the real Fighters and movies! Just prue joy and gold! You know ever one of them knows that the F*** they talking about!!
I’d like to see an all in one martial artist
“And then I STAB AT YOU”
I would be cool if we got to see all of them fight each other😂
No Into the badlands tv show? Im disapointed, that show was amazing with crazy fighting moves .
awesome reviews
"Now, sometimes you ask yourself while you're down there, do 1 000 punch somebody's face, is it overdoing it ?
Yes, it's overdoing it."
Master Wong
this compilation is 10/10 💖😸these ppl are fire 🔥✨2me esl the vid somehow was very easy 2understand it's like they spoke from their souls trying 2truly explain what they were saying so grateful 4that 🌻
insanely cool 💖🙈
the fight in the train was somewhat unrealistic because like the lady said while kick of the type one of the character uses is great if you have lots of space and long range (well about it being great in lot of space situation is something I said) not something you would do in short range and tight space. but what about the leg kick. in my case from a southpaw stance with my left leg to the inside of his lead leg. you can also pull his lead leg to trip him getting him off balance and then deliver a punch to the liver with your left. or elbows and knees when he is close. would that work?
It's not unrealistic
In real fights you r not prepared to fight
They just happen and you react
Yes it's a film
But the fights have no rules or time limits
Different knowing you can get stabbed or shot
Most people on RUclips may not ever had any sort of fight
Any type of fighting is scary
And anything goes
People do use high kicks
And stuff yiu see in films
In the streets there r no rules
..
@@nicholasgreen339 I'm not saying high kick would be useless in a street fight if someone is flexible enough and good enough so they can do it well. but it would have to be done in right moment it would not be your main attack. also fight on the street would be different than in a train because you don't have as much ability to move around in the train. I think this is where teep would be useful to keep your opponent away from you when you need it considering that you have enough space in a straight line just not that much to the side. and at close range you would be using elbows and knees and at longer range leg kicks and punches.
but you are right in a street fight anything goes. but you can't prepare for everything no matter how good you are you prepare for every scenario you can think of. and yes even if you have fought in the ring before street fight is little different but fighting in the ring still gives you better preparation for a street fight that if you haven't fought at all. also you are right many things that work well in a fist fight will not translate well if opponent pulls out a knife. but in the end if you are in the bar facing a bartender and someone comes with a knife behind you and stabs you then it doesn't matter if you fought before in a ring or even on the street you are just as dead.
but that is almost like saying that if someone shoots you then would mean that your fighting style doesn't work but that is not true. now martial arts is not self defense precisely because of reasons you mentioned but that doesn't mean it will not help you it just means it will not help you in every situation. and if someone does pull out a knife then while somethings in martial arts will be useless some will work when i mean work I mean they will give you some kind of chance because if someone has a knife and you are unarmed no matter what you are in big disadvantage. and most likely you are going to get stabbed the question is will you be able to take him out before he does severe enough damage to kill you. and in any case when someone takes out a knife it is better to run then to fight at less you have no other choice. and yes in the end its experience that matters most. but martial arts can to large degree make the bridge between no fighting ability vs being able to defend yourself in a no rule fight. as long as you actually test the fighting system or systems that you are using in actual combat. but there are steps you need to take before that and then you ramp it up, not the other way around and martial arts if you actually test it in sparring the ring and so one with each step being more like a real fight that gives you foundation that will give you better chance in real fight.
Glad to see Warrior got a mention in the nunchuck section.
Is this just a compilation of previous videos? I swear I've seen some of this content before.
As far as I can tell it is. I've for sure seen an episode with just Master Wong.
Yes. Is a re-hash/amalgamation of previous episodes being sold as, "new". F*** OFF, Insider.
You know the video is going to be good, when you get the third commercial at minute 5..
I’m so desperate for part 3…. Please give us an update if possible!!!! 🙏
💀 dude shang-chi deviates from the Hong-kong action structure of "knot, tie, and twist" also cinematographer Bill Pope is a gem.
My uncle just became a master in wing chun and started teaching me I'd love to meet the man on here with my uncle my uncle went and was taught under ip chun. Ip man's son.
His reaction to the kicks in the face 😂😂😂
as far as cutting a spear on the other hand I don't feel it would be that easy. first the way spear moves its hard to get a clean hit with a sword. second if a spear is made of strong wood like hickory it would take several clean shots to cut it with a sword. the only way a sword can beat a spear is obviously if the guy with a sword got close enough. But other than that spear is both better as a weapon and easier to use.
In the movie, that sword is supposed to have almost supernatural powers. That's why she was able to cut through the spear.
Bring back all of these people.
Should have had some the raid fights in there
37:38 wow she didnt even hit the table and it was already starting to destroy. air from that move maybe?
Please another video but with TEKKEN moves this time!!!!

Wish they would've rated the nunchuck duel in the 1990 teenage mutant ninja turtles movie. That scene is gold.
Thumbnail doesn't exactly look like martial artists lol
If i gotta fight some dudes on the street and could have one sidekick. Wong definitely that person

Can you do BJJ artist rates BJJ scenes ?
Can you direct me to a movie about BJJ? I've seen a lot of martial arts movies but never seen one - I always assumed it's because it doesn't make for a very entertaining watch unless you are a BJJ student yourself.
@@WillPowerz I do have a short screenplay story I’m developing about Judo. Hopefully it can go on the big screen one day
The movies are make believe, you go to watch them for escapism, its willingness of disbelief, of course Bruce Lee is accurate, but other action movies are exaggerated, that been said if it makes people want to learn martial arts isn't that a good thing, providing its for the right reasons!.
Tbey r not make belive
You learn that in special forces
Real fighting requires you to be able to not die
No rules no time limit
Weapons r used
People trying to kill you
Isn't the same as sparring
It's easy to land stuff if your opponent has lost control
All they need is ditch guy to dig tranches for them to fight in
