    It's just not possible for Flowers to have better stats on the ravens. Simply put, the ravens average only 29 pass attempts per game (31st in the league), they lead the league in rushing touchdowns, and the few times they do pass for touchdowns, it's to Andrews. Flowers is the best case scenario for the ravens, no other WR in the league would look better than him on the ravens because they just won't be given the opportunity.

    I'm going to be honest as a Bengals fan, Myles Murphy is freaking HORRIBLE. HATED the pick at the time (with LaPorta and Branch both on the board) and have only continued to hate it more and more. Dude couldn't get past 3rd stringers in preseason and just got bullied by WR Noah Brown on a Texans TD run when we needed him to step up with Sam Hubbard out.
    I wouldn't have taken him on Day 2 even with how bad he is. I honestly do not think, based on his preseason performance, that he would have made the 53 if it wasn't for him being our 1st round pick.

    Zay is him. Wait until he fills out his frame after his first contract is up. Dude can carve up a zone defense. Makes Andrews, a guy who can also abuse zone defense, even more dangerous in the middle of the field. Somewhere Lamar excels at throwing the ball.

    Not sure I buy the JSN excuse, Addison was 3rd in line behind Jefferson and Osborn on the start of season depth chart, but just comprehensively outplayed Osborn immediately, and stepped up just as easily to WR1 in JJs absence. JSN had the opportunity to outplay DK or Lockett, and hasn't really. UDFA Bobo has even stepped into snaps that JSN should have commanded.

    High draft picks are always about what they can do, and never about their flaws,
    While late or undrafted picks, it is about what they lack, and not what they have.
    For instance, Tyson Bagent, undrafted QB for the Bears.
    People talk about what he lacks to Justin Fields (arm strength, athleticism).
    Although, he seems to throw as far as he needs to, and he runs well enough to gain yards.
    BUT -- they don't talk about what Justin Fields lacks compared to Bagent.
    Bagent reads much better.
    Bagent distributes the ball much better, not just throwing to one or two recievers.
    IMO, Bagent is and always will be a better QB than Justin Fields because he knows the game batter,
    and he makes the game look easier.

    WRs are always the ones hitting the NFL ground running, simply because there is no physical challenge at their position, and they've been running the same routes for years. All other positions (QB, CB, TE, trenches) require time to adapt to the enormous physicality and speed of NFL level.

    • @masonschwartz7771
      @masonschwartz7771 10 месяцев назад

      it’s the special players that hit the ground running usually, loads of guys take time to develop but i don’t think it’s necessarily true. no matter what the ball is being throw further distances in the nfl just cause of hashes = harder catches. corners are better at breaking up coverages and poking balls out. there’s not certain positions that are given better opportunities it’s all harder and faster. if ur complete coming in it shows.

    • @robe2504
      @robe2504 9 месяцев назад

      Yes, maybe CBs & TEs as well, but the complexity of defences can also take a while. WRs can definitely show out early. O and D Line guys seem to take at least two off seasons to build up their strength, but that doesn't stop many fans from having unrealistic expectations.

  • @TheBestGinger

    FAU is a good pick I would say for kc they need to build a better defense but a five year plan for a player wouldn’t be that smart because his contract will be done and if they keep jones they gonna have to pay up on defense. Knowing mahomes he probably would take a pay cut and make it work 🤦‍♂️ if chiefs gonna try to develop get a kinda cheap veteran like clowney or Calais Campbell to show him the ropes. Hard disagree on Kincaid, he has been better the last few games but an A- still too high, when we consider his overall production

      hard disagree harris, when you pluck a hall of famer at 25 its a homerun

    Stop with the incomplete bullshit. However many snaps someone plays, grade them on that.

    So glad we didn't pick Addison from the second he stepped out on stage at the draft and said "Let's get paaaaid".
    He'll be an issue down the line but a good player nonetheless.

      Lmao actually he hasn’t been much of an issue. He’s a pretty quiet dude.

      @@saraxiong He's been great on the field.
      My conviction still is that; Although you may feel so internally, but by proclaiming such a thing the first thing you do officially, says a lot.
      I'll revisit this comment within 3 years with a "told you so". As of now you seem to have a better eye for him than I do 🙂
