Videography and technician skills on point!! "Dear stator overlords, please let my stock stator last while in the backcountry of Idaho 3k miles from home" LOL Thanks for the video boys!!
Haha! Thank you for the kind words and you be safe out there and don't forget to keep sending us photos of the trip. We have been enjoying everything you have been releasing as well.
Great video Tom , I enjoy watching the work you guys are doing on the tw. My shopping cart keeps getting filled up with new wanted upgrades! Keep the videos of the tw coming.
Thank you for the kind words and staying tuned to our videos. We will keep plugging away at getting more TW200 content out and new products onto the market.
I need to do this on my DRZ. In fact, I got the replacement stator from you guys. I know the process is similar, but is there anything particular about that bike I should know ahead of time? Also, as much as I enjoy the TW content, I’d love to see more of these videos for other bikes, such as the DRZ. Thanks, guys!
Thank you for watching the videos and I'm glad to read that we were able to help you get the part/s you needed. The replacement process is pretty similar. There are a couple different length screws to pay attention where you removed them from, use thread locker on the internal screws, and just make sure the gasket mating surfaces are clean. We'd love to get our hands on a DRZ and put some effort into it and get potentially new / better products out there on the market for it.
We're waiting on the production run to be finished. We don't have an SKU to even put it into our system at the moment. As soon as it becomes available I will update this video bio with the link. We apologize for the delay and are working with the manufacturer to get this going asap.
Thank you for the great question. We went with a 140/80-17 MotoZ Tractionator ADV tire and built a 4.25x17 Sun rim to accommodate the new tire. We mainly chose this setup to be able to source more aggressive tires, and to access more readily available tire options overall. Some tire options with the 17" wheel will drop the weight by up to 6lbs! We also noticed the TW feels tighter on some of the single-track stuff we've taken it on. You lose some of the bubbly TW-ness that the 14" rear wheel offers but, it's nothing dramatic. The TW is still a blast to ride.
The starter motor of my tw200 was removed and cleaned yesterday. After reinstalling it, the starter motor can run, but the engine cannot be started. I can only hear the starter motor rotating. Does anyone know what is going on?
Sorry to read you're having an issue with your bike not starting. Sounds like maybe something else was left or got disconnected during the repair. Check all of your electrical connections. Give us a call if you can't figure it out and we'll help you figure it out. 541-688-9543

Is there a link to get the upgraded Stator?

What rear tire (and wheel?) did you change on the TW? And why?!

Don’t forget to add oil.

@@TeamProCycle It has been solved. It turned out that the magnetic pole direction of the starter motor case was reversed. Thank you for your reply.
