Thank you for commenting!
Thank you for the video!!! Just what I was looking for 😊
Thank you for sharing your feedback!
"wireless boom mic"! YES, THANK YOU (took me looking thru 5 videos before I found someone, (you), who answered my questions. Much appreciated and I also had no idea what the screw port was at the bottom of the yeti, so thx brother I appreciate this video tremendously. Would also be curious if you've found a way to windproof this bad boy for outside use :). (I know some peeps are using masking tap for the smaller lavalier mics but I doubt that's working here w/o looking too ridiculous lol)
Thank you for taking the time to comment! Try looking up "furry windscreen" for your mic. There's a lot of them on Amazon.
Better voice-overs! Thank You so much for this tip!
My pleasure!
Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks.

I’m gonna go outside just cause I can, love it bro lol! Hell if they get a rode video mic go II they can just usb c to usb c and have a podcast type mic that doubles as a shot gun mic! It’s what I use!
Good tip! I hate how people mislead others with the Mic Go 2s. Like they just clip it to their shirts making it look very sloppy. It can be easily put out of frame and still capture good audio 🤷🏾♂️
Nice one. Thanks!

Thanks for the video!
You're welcome!
Great video!
Thank you for the feedback!
Right on! Great info and you funny AF
Appreciate that!
It sounds like your phone is recording line-in with the internal mic on. In FL studio mobile, if you open a recording track and go over to the fx/send window, you can click the microphone to enter monitor mode. Without headphones it makes a very similar feedback distortion to what we just heard...

Good vid, thanks : )

Nice work 👍🙂
Thanks ✌️
Thanks bro
No problem and I'm diggin your profile name!
This help me out
Thank you for the feedback!
Would this work when recording on camera e.g vlogging etc?
No but I recommend using something like the Rode VideoMic GO. It's not that expensive, doesn't need batteries and sounds as good as the VideoMic Pro (that does need batteries). I used it in the video I just uploaded on how to screen record Netflix if you want to see how it sounds. I use it on a mic stand and a long aux cord to get it closer to me since I'm just sitting. It can also be attached to most cameras for vlogging.
It works on audio recording device. Also works fine for sending voice notes on Insta/Telegram (and probably others too I suppose) But when recording video, it doesn't recognize the mic. It still uses the default phone-mic... I want to go live on Insta and perform using the USB mic :( Can you help?
Yeah this method wouldn't work with videos unfortunately. There's some smaller mics made just for phones so I would recommend those.
James Brown style...hardest working man in Tubebizness 😂
Hit me!!!
@@dpirateoh I think he actually GOT hit
Interesting 😊so u recoding on the phone. Audio?
Yep 😁
Would the blue yeti nano work on the s20fe ?
Yes it should with this method
Any chance you can show us how you edit your audio and sync that audio?!
Like a how to sync audio & video together in an editing program right?
@@dpirate yup!
I don't want to sync i just want to record with sound from android
This is helpful but, I'm trying to connect my USB mic to the same cellphone I'm recording from so that I am capturing my video and audio at one time into one file recording. Do I need an app because it is not working directly?
It usually cause issues when you try to record audio and video using this method. Our phones aren't really made to handle this much. But there's a lot of affordable cameras and camera microphones out there. I use the Sony ZV-1 with the Rode VideoMic GO myself. For both it's a little under $600. May sound like a alot but if you're making any kind of content it's worth investing in quality.
Is there an easy way to just plug in a microphone to your phone with an otg and use video recording and capture the audio through the microphone? With even a 3rd party app?
Thank you for the video! It helped!
When I tried doing video and audio with this method it caused issues with the audio. You could try but it may end up wasting time if you finish recording only to find out the audio isn't usable.
@@dpirate thank you for the reply! So I can't just plug in a microphone into my phone via OTG and record? (Already tried just didn't know if there was a setting to choose which microphone to use)
Either way thanks again!
Question will this work for games on my phone will i be available to use it to talk in games? Love the vid
Long term, no I don't think so. There's a chance it'll work but my educated guess is there would be some issues.
Dang ok thanks for the help I appreciate it 👍
Thanks, nan.
No problem and thank you for commenting!
@DownloadingPirate your instructions where right on.
Great presentation 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thank ya 😅
Is it possible to hook up two ? Is there a connector for that ?
I think if you use a double wireless mic like the dim wireless or the rose wireless go ii you can have two separate audio channels. Check either and put with your cell phone in the title!
Thank you for sharing Michael! When it comes to adapters... it *could* be possible with a USB hub. I say could because I can't give you a sure yes unless I tried it myself. I don't have a second mic to test it unfortunately. My educated guess, it could cause issues since it one phone may not be able to handle both. If it was me I would just use two phones. This would be better to edit two since you can switch from person to person if needed. But a lot of these mics, like the Blue Yeti has a interview type mode build-in to capture audio from two sides.
How can I use my phone to make a video and use my big USB microphone to record the sound?
If you're want to record video and audio through your phone the best thing to do is get a plug in mic made for phones. There's a lot of affordable ones out there. I say that because this would he easier long term.
I found another app called USB Microphone Recorder, easier UI and many recording settings
Thank you for sharing!
Will an otg cable work as well?
If one end has a USB female port (to plug something into it) and the end has a the male port (the end sticking out that goes into something else like your phone) it'll work. Anything outside of this would not work.
@@dpirate that's exactly what I have thanks👍
Is there an adapter that I can plug the USB and my headphones into my phone
Not that I've seen yet
Cool! 😘😂
😄👍
Can I record music on my phones with a USB mic?
You could
Does this setup work in phone calls, discord and zoom?
My educated guess is it should work with Discord and Zoom since there's options to choose different audio inputs. But not with phone calls since there's only one audio output normally. But this could make phone calls difficult.
Say if it did work, this means you would have to find a new way to hear the audio output/caller(s) on the other end. Because when a microphone is plugged up normally it sets the audio output to go through the microphone as well (some mics has headphones jacks so you can hear through them).
@@dpirate tysm
It works with Zoom
Does this work with the iPhone default video?
No, not normally. It usually cause issues with the audio playback if we try.
Does it drain the phone battery real quick though? It seems to good to be true haha
You'll lose about 10-20% but that's not much on a full charge. The only cons I found was sometimes there can be a small cracking noise in the recording. Maybe it was just my phone since it's from 2018.
Jus cause I can
😅
Do iPhone tutorial
Same steps applies to iPhones too
Jidion?
You a 2000s Baby huh?
Alot of younger people compare me to him.
And the headphones?? Hiw u hear youurself?
If the mic has an audio jack you could use it
@@dpirate it doesnt
I was waiting to hear the engine start lol...
Aye.. we was about to take a road trip 😅
