This is perfect for guys like me with kids. When i am running a built 8s xmaxx with two 7yr old boys constantly wanting to play with it. This truck is perfect for them. It gets them in the game and they’re not sending a 70mph 1/5 scale truck through someone car door or house.

For what it is, I would say it seems like a good entry into the hobby grade rc game. Might be nice to see a followup video to see how it holds up over time. Sometimes it's nice to have a cheap way to get in just to see if you like it before you start dropping $300 or more into a hobby.

I payed 155.00 on banggood from china and got the same RC car with upgraded servo and all metal gears for steering and plus I know oil would leak right out of the shocks that’s why I’m going to try grease, I think it will work good for the shocks
This was our first rc car i impulse bought it, after watching another RUclips video.
We have ran Several batteries through it and crashed a bunch breaking the cv axle. I did add grease to the differentials. But so far my daughter loves it

Cant believe it didn't break in the first 10 minutes , like everyone else that reviewed these. !! Everyone else seemed to strip the diffs very quick. You must have got a good one , lol!
Yeah maybe. I didn’t even grease anything or check that everything was tight. I watched a ton of reviews before I got it, too. I wasn’t expecting much but I was surprised

looking at the box : Dimmensions say it is one hell of a small car, but very high.
Lenght : 37mm (thats like 1.46inch)
Width : 30mm (thats 1.18 inch)
Height 165/145mm (thats seems right, 6.5/5.7 inch)
wheel height : 60mm (wheels are bigger then the car is long according to the box)

they're similar. The shocks are the skinny 110mm oil-less Johnnys that we all love to hate.

I got one of these off Banggood a few weeks okay. The drive gear striped pretty quickly on a 3s. I did get the parts sent from WL, took about 2 weeks. The part I ordered was for the XLF 04A, havent tried it with a 3s yet. But I did order a few extra to test with.

The oil just leaks out. Might put grease in them.

hi love the video like usual ive got mostly redcats those are my favs but my the car i got before the redcats was a 125 dollar hassum something and that turned out to be my go to for fun and it wasnt even brushless it was just alot of fun omg crazyness so to answer your question absolutly id by that car plus from a destince it kinda looks like a pepsi gen shell keep up the good work hommie

I loved my 9125 brushed version. Got my kids into the hobby too! The shocks can be corrected by using the cheapest from ebay, mine were 85mm! They really take a lickin and keep on tickin. @37 mph or 38mph, been awhile, on 3s, it moved. Can this handle 3s or 4s?

You can get oil filled shocks. They're shit, but they work.

@@10thScaleGarage Still Not bad. Take the shocks off the Granite and see if they fit the clone. Or get some CHEAP Aluminum Shocks from like AliExpress... all 4 for under $20... And if you feel Real Lucky, All 4 from Wish for under $10.... Where I got mine from.

July 24th, ordered a Pirates 2 and 2 extra Lipos. As of today Sept 4th, They Still have not left the Shippers. So when did you order this and when did you get it? Banggood just tells me to Wait some more and they are sorry, The got held up in Customs .... Whoopee! I have had better luck getting stuff from Wish.
I’m not 100% sure on the dates, but it took about a week to get here. It came from a warehouse in Canada. RCs are hard to get ahold of these days.

There are a Few More tucks I would like to Get that only they carry but am Finding the Same Trucks up to $100 Less from AliExpress. Example: The Banggood Maximus 120a is 449 at AliExpress, it's 339... Save 110 that could be used for extra batteries and even a better Charger and take just as long to get... Could not find the Pirates 2 there so was stuck with BG.. But Would/Will buy the Maximus from Ali...

How can binding transmitter and reciver in this car ? My car not working (
There is a tiny bind button on the ESC/ receiver. Push and hold that button while you switch on the car. Turn on the Transmitter and the car should bind. If that doesn’t work, refer to the instructions.

A USB charger. I’d recommend getting a hobby grade charger.

I put a brushless 550 sized 3650kv and 60 amp esc in the f1 short course truck and it flies! Takes a little engineering to make it all work, I flipped a 42 tooth reduction gear and replaced the plastic transmission gear and use the spur from the a979b(29 tooth?). The diffs are the weak point so order spares!

I’m not familiar with that, but you’d likely need a new ESC and servo.
how long does it take to charge and how long does it drive for non-stop?
That depends on the charger. I didn’t use the charger it came with because it probably would’ve taken about 4-6 hours to charge. Even the cheapest hobby grade charger (you can find them all day for ~$25) will charge it in about an hour. How long will the battery last driving flat out without stopping? Heck, idk. No one drives their car like that. I got about 15 mins of run time though.
