This is reminding me so much of early-to mid 2010's mountain goats, which might be one of my favourite periods of their music. And the song being about the same people as the ones in color in your cheeks???? I cant fucking wait for this album

Well, John, you've done it yet again. I cannot wait to hear the rest of this album if I already relate to Jenny so well. I was the "mother" of a house like Jenny's. I went through all the dirty kid rituals of addiction, poverty, shame, and desire.
