Thanks man! For others, please note that there is a difference between VGA2HDMI and HDMI2VGA. I'm telling you this because the product for both of those converters looks exactly the same except for the label "VGA2HDMI" or "HDMI2VGA".

Thank you for this video. I bought a dell adapter to do this and apparently it was the wrong thing. A converter is needed. Ordered this hooked it up and I'm back in business with an hdmi switch on one monitor to use it for both my laptop and old (vga) desktop pc. THANKS!!!

@@ashokpoladia4988 hey! My solution to this was that my graphics card at the time didn’t recognize the converter, so I ended up buying a new graphics card that had an hdmi port coming out the back of it
