90% of the time “never sold as a kit” and why are all the cool ones never sold?
Just my $0.02.... I tried to make a kit for sale, and the biggest problem I ran into was in a word: Parts
Parts availability (made in that color, rarity, cost for 'that part', etc...) to be more precise. I had to find at least 50 of a part that hadn't been made in a long time for the first run. I found 6 (2 I had, and 4 on Bricklink). I needed few of a new part that only came in one set, so it cost more even with Bricklink. Little things add up. After a while life intrudes and/or the project gets shelved.
That B-17 was insane. Oh what I would give for that model.

24:50 My dad told me how the Germans used the 88s against ground troops in Tunisia. They fired the shells with delayed fuses parallel to the ground. The shells bounced off the ground like you would skip rocks across the water-mowing down troops.

6:48 The KV-1 (45t) and KV-2 (52t) tanks were much heavier than the T-34 (26t). The lego models here don't really show it, but I guess that is hard to show.

I built Tamiya military plastic models as a kid. I have been a military history buff for many years, particularly North African and eastern fronts WW2. I have built Lego sets for many years, but the concepts of Lego and military have never been linked in my mind. Yesterday, I randomly came across Brick Mania vids on RUclips for the first time. I am so blown away by Brickmania and their mil vehicle models that I am nearly speechless. I am simply slack-jawed and wide-eyed at the historical accuracy of the models and the dedication and talent of Brickmania designers at producing them. I can almost instantly recognize the models as the vehicles they represent, which means that the scaling and details of the models are basically as perfect as they can be. I am struggling to understand how the designers come up with these models to make them look so perfect and accurate given the limitations of Lego brick types and sizes. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Or you can sue them. Just buy a brickmania kit, Injure yourself by it and sue them.
Are they a knock off Lego brand?
Brickmania is just a very small, independent company. The reason why the kits are so expensive is because of parts, printing instructions, packaging etc. This can get very expensive very quick for a company with a team of idk 13 or so people

Nope! (The US-used Lee tank had an extra mini-cupola atop the turret, almost like another tiny turret... The British-used Grant tank didn't have that...) Plus, if it WAS a Lee tank it would be green, (not tan...) since they were only used in the far East.. xx SF

The IS tank is actually an IS-2, since the front of the hull was redesigned for only having two sloped areas, there's no drivers "cupola" anymore

Here in My country, (Not Usa), Legos are also very expensive, but there is also another big problem. Things like this can't be find in the country, so, if you want some of this, you need to buy it from Usa, and the price just triplicates!

What are the criteria for a model to get added to a book? Do you choose only from retired models or models that you cannot get the parts for easily or can they be pulled from sold out kits? And if you release an updated model with conversion kits, like the new M4 sherman, would that potentially be able to be added in a later book?
What's the biggest tanks you have available in kits currently? I'd love a Sherman or Tiger but I can't tell how big things are from the website. Any help is much appreciated. Edit: are there any plans to release the Marine Corp Sherman, Jumbo or Easy8 tank? Is it possible to custom order them?
Actually the marines did not get the short end of the stick they just didn't want to modernize because they suspected new gear to not be as reliable, for example most marines still used the M1903 Springfield because the branch head was skeptical about the M1 Garand

I just looked in their website. WHY ARE THEY SO EXPENSIVE?! There is no way a simple tank is worth 500 USD. A lego brand kit with 200 pieces is like 50. The price of these kits are way overpriced.

For the prices youd think they'd offer mor playability. They look nice but he picked up a few and parts fell off or it looks like the guns dont move much which really hurts it especially if you're paying $300+. The planes are cool and the landing gear looks nice tho
