What are your thoughts on using 1/2" foam board spacers in the headers instead of plywood? That would reduce the thermal bridging a bit.

Would you have lifted this all at one time?

nice, have you ever thought of using solar generator for quieter jobsite?

They're so expensive!!! But yeah that wouldnt be a bad idea. I have this massive generator that's overkill for what i'm using it for. Thought about getting a smaller one that would obviously be way quieter but rather not spend the extra cash on right now.
I have been trying to lately use my battery nailer to reduce the background noise and just use the generator to charge batteries when it comes time.

@@BreakFreeHomestead some of the smaller smaller power stations have great recharging rate with the right number of solar panels

Cost of failure does not equal any reward gained by raising a wall that long without the proper equipment

Hmm, could i have lifted it in two sections yes, would it have been easier, yes. Would failure of it falling off the foundation been a massive headache and failure, yes. But there's always risks in building, just doing the best you can to manage them. You could lose your life falling off a 10ft roof.

Not sure why you would want to lift this long of a wall?

One and done, all nice and square, pre taped.

@@BreakFreeHomestead Do you agree it would have been easier in sections now 😆 Good work 👏

@@stevewayne3676 Haha thanks, if i knew it wouldn't lift and had to be saved by a buddys excavator I would have gone back and not installed the LVL until after, those two walls would have lifted easily with the two lifts. Live and Learn.
