My major issue with the game so far is that EVERY. SINGLE. SUSPECT. wants to fight to the death unless you go way overboard with non-lethals. It would be great to see more actually dynamic behavior from suspects especially with their morale. (i.e threatening to pull a weapon, being discouraged by flashlights, coming out in the open to surrender.) Most levels feel like you're SEAL team 6 infiltrating bin-ladens compound rather than being police trying to apprehend suspects or deescalate hostage situations.
Amen to that! Instead of being the updated and better SWAT4 clone I was wishing for, they just made every map into a massive gunfight and there's not even a benefit to getting suspects to surrender. Then I hear that they want to make Port "more difficult," (1:02), as if it's not difficult enough already ... ? Okay, I "get" that some players are really advanced and maybe Port is too easy for them ... but new players and some of us who aren't that talented could use a break. My wish list is for them to offer novice, regular, advanced leveling or at least something like SWAT4 had which allowed the player to select how likely suspects were to surrender.

Void is one of the only groups that can hold out on a release for this long, because of how good this looks
And for now it's already a good game better than 70 percent of all early access games. Therfore i appreciate that they take their time to finish it.
5:54 If part of the SWAT AI overhaul is allowing us to macro them like Doorkickers, I would completely lose it. It's been a feature I wish more squad-based tactical shooters had ever since the first Doorkickers came out.

I solo brisa cove with the ai, if there was a screen to top down control them it would make managing them far easier lmao I tell them to defend and they stare at the wall.. not down the hallway where they get attacked from
Also tazers should be an equipable like throwables on your belt. I want a sidearm AND my tazer

@@SpaceMissile F90 is the export model - within the military they're designated EF88. Have put many rounds through them, it's a great upgrade from the F88SA2s.
@@devp194 wish the animation was model how diggers reload the bolt release button when e reloading. Instead of reaching over the top to push it literally just as you put in the mag you just slid your hand up and your thumb should be in the bolt release button and cut down in time to reload.
The best customization update they could do would be individual pieces. I love ranger green but I'd rather have my camo pants and ranger green plate carrier
For the highlighted weapons and evidence, i'd like for it to only highlight after you "bring order to chaos" so it doesnt break the immersion, with the AI having the ability to pick up weapons you didn't secure on the first way through for added difficulty, having to pay extra attention to the situation. Maybe an unarmed suspect can decide to pick one up, or a shooter can pick up a better weapon as they might do realistically. Giving certain AI the ability to cut loose secured suspects could add an interesting twist, too.
Doubt we're getting 1.0 in December. But I would hope we're getting a trailer with a planned release date.

So I’ve recently downloaded RON and I’ve got to say, it’s very very fun. Playing solo or with friends it’s addicting. I like the features, the game play, the difficulty of AI and how the whole game feels. For anyone who is thinking about getting this game, try it out for at least an hour. If you don’t like it, refund it. If you enjoy tactical slow pace games, I highly recommend this

Need an update to add more weird stories. I remember in swat we would experience shear disgust and horror upon seeing the victims etc.. Like "wow, this guy is really a psycho".

i think its getting delayed i still have a major breaking bug were the game does not save my runs at all...
They should add more camouflages like the UCP and Woodland MARPAT. Also, more helmet variants such as M1 Steel Helmet(since steel armour plate exist in the game, the old steel helmet can be added for more gameplay variety) , PASGT and Enhanced Combat Helmet could be added to the game.

I hope the maps dont just get bigger and bigger and loose the enjoyability of the game in the process, coz bigger maps usually just means less details, less context and overall less enjoyable gameplay, the map sizes are fine just add more context, realism etc.

they should add more uncompliant civs like the wife in the valley of dolls map, so I can recieve catharsis from doming the local Karen
One thing is needed and I didn't see it being referenced on the update. The AI is ultra broken with superhuman reflexes and turn rates. If I could choose between all these changes and the AI fix, 100% I'd go with the AI fix, cause man, this shit has become unplayable sadly.
i think the game awards symbol being in the drawing is a bit tin foil hatty for my taste but i admit that it would be sick if they had a trailer at the game awards and dropped the update that night or something

i was really hoping allowment of ai teamates with coop players. not everyone has 4 goofy goobers all the time and me and a friend wanna play it be nice to feel like a full team still
Nah, tasers don't need to be 100% effective, they fail upwards of 60% in real life use cases.
Not to say they need to be 100% effective just that they need to work differently

the main AI fix should be deleting most of the animations and just do realistic ragdoll like in ground branch or operator, imagine magdumping a crackhead with AP ammo and he is well and unharmed
I think any more delays of RoN 1.0 will cause actual crucades. I can't wait for whatever is coming I'm craving some new content.

I am not excited for the Port rework. If anyone has played any dark open area modded maps, you would know that the AI can see you perfectly through the darkness from a distance. Distance and darkness do not affect AI detection. This will probably make Port the worst and most frustrating map in the game until they fix the AI most likely. It will be difficult for the wrong reasons.
Good point. The devs have stated they are adding in illumination blocking to maps as well, so where you can’t see without nods or illumination, the AI won’t be able to as well.

I'm happy to see this game getting developed but i think they should take their time. Giving into the pressure of people whining online about a game has never led to a quality release. They've obviously been spending their time wisely trying to refine the game and i just hope 1.0 is a quality as possible and not being rushed out due to the impatience of fans
As a full fledge backer, I dont care about content when what currently exists in the game isnt even fun to play. The core function of this game, CQB, doesnt even work. But hey, new vehicle models in a game that doesnt involve driving!
Make the AI worth playing against and with, then we can talk about version 1.0. The Ai in this game is atrocious just as it is with every other UE early access game like Ground Branch and Six Days. They all seemed to be based off of the same standard template of superhuman speed and accuracy while not knowing how to use ladders and fanboys defend it by claiming thats how it is in real life.
When your ai is worse than ai from over a decade ago, in an industry where game development is more accessible than it has ever been, its clear that this is yet another tacticool gear sim rather than an actual tactical and strategic experience.
Ill consider the game 1.0 once the AI's greatest foe is no longer doors.
gotta love that the only comments this guy hasnt liked are the ones that are critical of this game. The fact that anyone can say anything positive about this game after not getting an update for over a year and leaving the game more broken than its ever been speaks volumes.

I’d suggest just look away for like 3 years than comeback or something at that point
They will get updates out slowly I doubt they can do it a AAA type of speed pumping update after update without crunching the devs

This game still feels like a mod for a better game. The constant shoot outs with the 20 or so enemies in every map (minus the weird Ruby Ridge wasted map) gets old quick. If I'm gonna breach into a deathmatch house then at least let me sprint like every other FPS game. There's no tension, it's just spam F until you hear someone yell fuck you and peek and shoot them.
Obvious they do not listen to the community. We have been asking for smaller, more realistic maps since launch and yet they keep giving us stuff the size of a city block. A simple store, movie theater, school, banks, offices... house. There is no need for these huge elaborate maps they keep putting out.
Need procedurely generated maps else its absolutely pointless..

@@Ladis1 plenty of games do it well.. never played six days in fallujah? Giving the devs excuses to not make an effort is the reason gaming has gone downhill the past 5 years. The reason the call of duty devs don't make an effort is because they know the cult following will buy the game regardless.. whole point of these type of games is to keep you on your toes and not know what to expect. Don't get me wrong, I love the game. Just got stale after a couple hours once you learn the maps. There's nothing to bring you back
OP is more mis-informed than void's steam mods, game is in no shape for a 1.0 release, game will be out in another 3 years at the rate the devs have been crunching. so enough with the 3rd missed hype on this garbage scam of an IP.

The game is nowhere near completion there is countless bugs still.
I wish Ready Or Not would stop trying to be a horror game type game and just go full out SWAT feel. Like E3 2014 Rainbow Six Siege type game. Don't like how some maps feel like a horror game rather than an active crime scene.
