My boy Simmons torturing Nick Wright w/ these Wildes guest spots. Wildes being Bill's most reoccurring non-Ringer guest, knowing how much Nick Wright references Bill, is all-time prolonged trolling by BS. Like how Lebron ignored Skip, while publicly rocking w/ Shannon Sharpe.
The dinner party producer idea is the one. You could have this same advisory service for dates or for any situation where you are trying to impress someone.
The other food where you take part in the cooking process is Korean barbeque. I would highly recommend it! Usually it's all you can eat and you grill the meat that you order at your own sort of table grilling station.
Tacos, the answer is tacos. You get a little tortilla press and a flat top grill and just make tacos in a little booth and someone cleans up after you.
Loved this segment. The answers to Wildes last half baked idea are sandwiches and s'mores. Imagine a Subway/similar where you dictate how much of each ingredient you want (the only roadblock here is likely ensuring nobody goes crazy and takes all of one protein for a single sandwich. But hey, half baked idea) Who doesn't enjoy making their own s'mores? You'd have to get creative with what you can add, but so much as having an establishment that offered this would mean you could likely begin making things interesting pretty quickly (e.g. graham crackers the size of a slice of bread, 12 marshmallows and a block of chocolate would make it so you're essentially making your own dessert pizza)
In the small town of Leeds, North Dakota, at Earl's, they (at least used to) have grill your own steak night. The meat was good quality, so if you could get the stove temperature where you wanted it, you could make a pretty good steak. They also had a "build your own loaded baked potato" bar.
That last sports bar idea is actually brilliant if it can be toned down and have a real vision. Imagine a huge spot like that on football Sunday or Thursday night. Or Friday and Saturday nights.
There's a steakhouse in Steamboat Springs, Colorado (8th St Steakhouse) where you cook your own steak on a hibachi sized grill and you're there grilling with everyone at the restaurant. They tell you 3-4 minutes a side for Med Rare, etc. There's butter, seasonings, etc all provided
This whole video just made me want to be the guy at a party you've never met that jumps in like "But here's why you SHOULD immediately watch The Penguin!" lol
Wildes is a national treasure....you guys need to figure out a way of having Bill on as a guest for FTF....especially if its an NBA based segment...make it happen!!!
Cycling clothes are fantastic. Functional, bright colors, lightweight. The jerseys have three pockets built into the back. The material is super soft and moisture wicking. After a month of going to Spin Classes in cotton t-shirts and basketball shorts (and hating it, almost giving it up as my cardio), I got some hand-me-down Lycra-padded shorts and performance material jerseys. Ever since, I spin 3-4 days a week, ride outside, and watch major cycling races (4-5 hours a stage). My resting heart rate is in the mid 40's, lost 80 lbs over 15 years. If Bill tried to run me over with my car, it would be a Pulp Fiction situation for him.
I love this half baked ideas but if you really want to have someone to pump your gas if you live in the Philippines theirs a lot of gas stations gives full service you don't to pump gas forever
I 100 percent agree with wildes about too many good or interesting shows i see why people binge im into a lot of old shows and movies, and i have them on disk, so i dont need to binge Unless it's a greay documentary, which seems to be what i watch the most on streaming it if i dont finish it in like 2 days it wont get finished.. 😂
Bill is weird on the candy bar issue. 100 Grand bars are a very anonymous candybar in my world, nobody's fave, whereas he dislikes Snickers, which have been my fave forever. Kit Kat, Reese's peanut butter cup, and the Krackle/Nestle's Crunch doppelgangers round out my top five.
The Westbrook idea kinda reminds me of someone saying CP3 should go to a new horrible team every year and lead them to the playoffs as some sort of challenge 😂
What about a fantasy league for stocks? You’ll have weekly matchups, points are easily measured, drafts, trades, scandals, underdogs over performing - it has it all. And people are following it on a daily basis anyway
I love that Wildes' office is in Guantanamo Bay
this might be a MT. Rushmore of bill comments lol
It’s a shared office
The goat segment returns.
I have so many 1/4 and 3/4 baked ideas....

Don and Dawn and Ryan and Bryan!
I see Wildes I click. He’s a national treasure
You stole my comment I was about to make
One of the best segments in sport media history
Picturing Ben Franklin as a stretch 4 might be the funniest thing I've ever heard 😂
This is peak podcasting

Lol I thought I was only one who noticed this. Even Wildes has mentioned Nick would be good guest on here before
Bill doesn't respect Nicks schtick
Its so true but Bill has been mentioning Nick sometimes to. I cant wait for the day he comes on the pod!
@@JJ-Toreddieas much as it blows my mind too…it’s not really a schtick 😂 dude does believe his shit
Praise God he hasn't. Don't think I could take Nick's mug or ideas, fandom etc.
I think Wildes could just do a whole standup special called Half Baked Ideas. That Kentucky Derby bit is incredible.
Arriving in heaven and being disappointed you get a 20-year-old Benjamin Franklin is also hilarious.
Easily top ten pod of 2024. Fantastic job, fellas.
The Redzone for TV shows is the perfect half-baked idea
The funeral photo idea makes a lot of sense.
Putting in some recommendations for management
As a photographer, I’m always aware that my photo might be someone’s best or last. I’ve seen a few of mines in obituaries.
Just getting professional photos in general is awesome if you can afford them
The sports bar with private grills to live out "the cookout" is actually a great idea.
especially for people who live in apartments
wow you got the guy who came up with, defense wins championships, nice!
Wildes has been having half baked ideas for years on First Things First
@scottharmor6343 when you work with Nick Wright, what do you expect?
Half-baked ideas? Isnt that every bill simmons segment?
Oh shit son!
@@lukep757get Bill some ice for that burn
I love Bill Simmons so much
One of the best recurring segments ever devised
The dinner party producer idea is the one. You could have this same advisory service for dates or for any situation where you are trying to impress someone.
The cook your own food at the end is just Korean BBQ with a lot of TVs playing sports. 😂
These two are killer together
I wrote Wildes in as my vote for president on my 2nd mail in ballot
Your 2nd one 😂
That's nothing, I harvested at an old folks home and got like 250 Wildes ballots easily.
@@ziggle5000 impressive

This is a great combo.
the greatest segment in podcasting by the podfather himself
This combo is my favorite thing in sports talk. Feels like when your favourite cartoons had a crossover episode
Loved this segment. The answers to Wildes last half baked idea are sandwiches and s'mores.

I like this before I watch it
It’s finally back!!
Tv series red zone is something I need yesterday
Kevin “The national treasure” Wildes
“The Gentleman”
First time hearing this guest. I love him
This was gold!
I can actually see that NBA announcer nav take being a KIA commercial
“BANG!” 😂

This was a great episode. Helped me rake my leaves
WE NEED THIS COMBINATION OF MEN MORE PLEASE.
In other news, Bill needs to watch the Penguin. It’s the best show on television right now and it’s actually not even close
Wildes is the goat - he makes that show
I would LOVE to see horse masks at the kentucky derby amongst the dandies!!
Btw i totally had a tv with a built-in DVD player in high school.
Bill describing a DVD/VHS jukebox makes me want to see this in dive bars across America 😂
I went to a sports bar once that had a full wall of beers on tap that you got to pour yourself. Pretty great idea and fits that last half baked idea
the half-baked ideas are genius... and I hope our society takes all of them into consideration. This one comment in support is me doing my part.
That last sports bar idea is actually brilliant if it can be toned down and have a real vision. Imagine a huge spot like that on football Sunday or Thursday night. Or Friday and Saturday nights.
Get Wildes on for more segments! And clip them!

10 day Westbrook great idea
That last idea from KW is just Tailgating as a restaurant/bar and.... actually a great idea
This is the best idea ever!! 3:55
This whole video just made me want to be the guy at a party you've never met that jumps in like "But here's why you SHOULD immediately watch The Penguin!" lol
The Punxsutawney Phil of FOOTBALL!!!!
This is the perfect segment for the election. Also, Kevin could've been a writer for Seinfeld
The grill idea is genius
Kevin Wildes is a national treasure
First Things First is fantastic
10:47 “YOU BET!” “BANG!” 😂😂😂
Im just happy to be here
Bill saying he wants to ram his car into bike guys was hilarious 😂
the cook and sports bar is basically just KBBQ with TVs :p
Wildes is a national treasure....you guys need to figure out a way of having Bill on as a guest for FTF....especially if its an NBA based segment...make it happen!!!
The mayor of fair is in the house!!!!

Definitely not a KW burner account but I gotta say the hair is national treasure worthy right there

Bill Simmons on First Things First when
Every body loves wildes
Wildes has the best hair in TV
You can already do that with Korean/Japanese bbq and hot pot
There was a guy on shark tank who had a visual face video that would do different things on zoom to make it look like you were there
WE WANT MORE WILDES!!!!😂
When KW used to appear on the video-less BS Reports, I didn't imagine him looking the way he does
I never understood why the photo taken 3 weeks ago is the go-to for the funeral.
19:52 Wildes looked like he was expecting a different sort of answer from bill about wife trade deadlines.
The best!
These are hilarious
Does 10 day Westbrook get his jersey retired if he's amazing in those 10 days, but maybe for only like a season?
You might think ur fine but ur dying inside.. get a colonoscopy😂 Wildes coming out swinging
Every take Bill has if Half-baked. Except now I actually think Bill shows up Half-Baked.
This funeral idea is actually useful
What did I just listen to????

Two old men catching up with the world
Love you KW you’re the best, but bill saved that last idea for sure. It went from what are we talking about to best idea said
“Kyle, turn the TikTok camera on!”
