Hi Genevieve, for the gradient part i have another technic : select your layer ; click on « alpha lock » and voilà ! Hope it’s help you and your subscribers.

This was beautifully done. Your videos are extremely easy to listen to, your pace and voice is just so calming. Mine did not turn out quite as clean as yours, but I am still so happy with it! You can actually tell what it is! I wish there was a way for everyone to upload their spring lake illustrations so that we could see the different approaches that were taken. A lot of my shaping is different than your original, but it is completely worth saving. You’ve inspired me to watch more tutorials🥰

I Tried tô draw while i watched your vídeo, and realy work , my biggest difficult is with gradient( i draw with krita), whatever thank you , you ARE a big teacher and artist

Your tutorials are always so fun and educational! I was curious why you don't use the "Color Fill" option when using the selection tool to draw. It saves the step of needing to drag the color into the selected area each time you want to fill your selected area.

I love your videos but every time I try to download the palettes I can’t actually find the one in this video. It is as if only some of your older palette are the only ones there to download. It would save so much time for me if I could just access the palette instead of manually making it with the codes. But I do love your videos and you have taught me so much 😊😊

Aller sur le rond de couleur en haut à droite, puis clic sur palette en bas à droite, si elle n’est pas là, aller sur le plus en haut à droite (même menu) et l’importer
@@valeriec.2454 Non, la palette est bien importée. Je parle du profil de couleur RVB/CMNJ lorsqu'on crée une toile.

for some reason i cant create a gradiant at the grass it looks not blended at all regardless of me following the steps 1:1
Ive tried it multiple times but those greens just wont look blended.. :(
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong - when I use the feathering tool and I drop the color in, it is a harsh shape with very distinct lines as if I'm not using the feathering feature at all. I have gone back several times and watched step-by-step. Any ideas on why this might be?

Lake. I really cannot figure out why, but applying the gradient (selection + feather) to the branches and the grass really does not work for me.
It's hard to tell without seeing your file! Do you have more details on what is working and what isn't?
it doesn't work for me either. The edges are really hard, when I use the selection + feather.

@@VanjaKel can you explain how you fixed yours? i have the same problem - it just makes a hard edge of color instead of feathering it out. color fill is not selected on mine but the problem persists...
@@jennifercrandall try dropping the colour on the exact area you want filled (for example just the branch, not the entire selected area). If nothing happens, slide right to adjust treshold. Hopefully that will do it.
